Reader Input, Please!

Okay, so a lot of you have seen or read this sad little masterpiece I wrote for Wolffe, right? "Where's Mommy?" And y'all want to know what happens to them next, right?

Well, I may have gone ahead and wrote some more of the story because I can't help myself, and inspiration hit me square in the nose when I woke up. It's not much, but it's more.

I was thinking about it, and I am considering changing things up a bit for this fic. Nothing drastic, but sometimes change is good.

What if I posted the story as I wrote it? Like, make it into a little mini-series of updates as I go along, instead of waiting until I write the whole thing and posting one big update. The updates wouldn't be huge, probably several hundred words each, like the first part.

Here are the three options:

Add onto the original post and reblog the updates each time with my tag list.

Make separate posts for each part and link them all together (like a chaptered fic, but there would be no chapter names).

Wait to write the entire fic (whether a long one-shot or chaptered) and post one big update to the original post, reblog it, and add my tag list.

So... about those Clone Wara 'ration bars', usually pictured in the show as round sticks, but I think those would take up too much room, and square makes more sense. Or rectangular like our granola bars.

I see these as the nutritionally complete go-to snack, and often meal, for the troopers and Jedi in the field. Easy for the clones, all the same system, same requirements. Probably made directly by Republic. For specialty Jedi ones, probably developed by the Jedi themselves, and manufactured in small batches. Like beef jerky, lol.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure stuff out.

Does it really make sense for them to be individually wrapped? If so what with? Something plastic, something paper, something edible, something disposable?

The bars, are they dry or sticky? Can they function as an MRE if you toss them in a pot of hot water?

What are some good real world military comparisons? Besides MREs, I mean. They could have those too.
