So yeah Jude graduated from USC at the age of 23 and he was recruited for olympic court when he was 25. He considers the Trojan's his family and still keeps in touch with all the upper classmen who he used to play with. He's very much taken the Trojan attitude into his professional career. He's known as a team player on the court and also a huge activist off the court. He's now involved in presenting the Day Spirit Award every year and he's incredibly proud to have been apart of the team consistently winning it. While Ilya falls into the Just Some Guy category, Jude really takes it up like 10 levels into Golden Child territory. He's the favored one for press duty and is most involved with his teams social media. He's usually the one to sit down for the little games or the ask me anything's or the interviews everyone else deems pointless.

Jude was diagnosed with depression when he was 19 after he came to Rhemann confessing that he had been self harming for a few months after the workload with his class got more difficult for him to manage and he started thinking about committing suicide. He was diagnosed with adhd a few years later when he was 22 and now he now manages both with a mixture of therapy and medication. He's not perfect and obviously that didn't get rid of his depression but he has always had a safe space to talk about it and to get the help he needs. He advocates a lot for mental health in general but especially where athletes where it tends to get ignored with all the pressure put on them and he brings that into all of his relationships with his teammates trying to create a safe space for them. He is a huge factor in actually getting Em, Mara, and Florian to see therapists and he's who Florian calls after his 5th attempt and takes him to the hospital.

I need y'all to know that Jude popped into my head literally today. He was named like 3 hours ago. So this is all just kind of developing as I yap about him. He's big on team inclusion. Doesn't want anyone to feel left out. At first Ilya really butted heads with Mara and Florian cause they were Raven's and Jude was basically the one to get sick of that and tell them they needed to shut the fuck up and put on their get along t-shirt

He's generally pretty outgoing and he loves a good party. And by party he means hosting his team and having some food and drinks and visiting with every one. Though he does go a little crazy after a win and he will probably not get home till like 6 in the morning and then will sleep for a full 24 hours

He comes off as very loud and flirtatious to most people, most people will think he is flirting even when he isn't and he has accidentally agreed to multiple dates before realizing they were dates and having to awkwardly let people down. He doesn't really date much, not seriously, largely because of how involved he is with the media portion of his job. If he does end up dating (and I don't have anyone set up for him yet) it'd most likely be another exy player who is also super involved with the media and interacting with the press

Works in solitude: Vasili/Bell has always prefered to work alone, but it doesn't mean he doesn't mind going on missions with the team. But, as his habit of being a special agent, that trait normally came from him back in his days when he worked with the KGB.

Observant and intelligent: Vasili was able to survive any sort of situation because of his good observant skills, and his capacity to act quicker. He was able to learn a lot of languages as well, and posed himself in different identities, that made it harder for the intelligence agencies to track him down.

Is reserved and introverted: Bell really doesn't speak to anyone much, unless when it comes to planning or going for missions, he needs to form a sort of communication to keep it lively. He is seen being more comfortable with Mason and Woods, but never felt having a good vibe with Adler. It was odd on his part, but it was going to grow very obvious when the truth would have come closer to any minute.

BACKGROUND STORY

Bell, who first used to live under the identity of Vasili Sokolov, was born in a family who had an army background, where his mother and father, both served during the Second World War, and hearing their stories, it gave Vasili a motivation to support his parents legacy by joining the intelligence — which was the KGB, going under the codename "Crow".

THE KGB ARC [REDACTED]

When Vasili joined the organisation, he showed a remarkable performance as a special agent. Some say he was born to join the intelligence and make the country proud, or he was a gifted child who could learn anything quickly and successfully perform a mission by stealing info or destroying any plans that could harm his country, without any failure. He even pointed out possible mistakes while planning out a mission, and in the end they worked out efficiently. Alongside, he made himself a friend, whose name was Dimitri Belikov, and grew closer to each other and worked together as a team.

Sooner or later, Vasili's influence spread all around the world, especially during the Cold War, the enemies of the Soviet Union had a kill/capture on him. "Kill" because Vasili knew too much about them, and "Capture" because, they wanted him to tell everything he has with him, which likely created a risk for the KGB and they couldn't do so. With that, General Anton Charkov gave him the order to "retire" and stay hidden to protect himself along with the organisation. Disappointed, Vasili protested that it was the only thing that "kept him going", but having no choice, the agent decided to leave the KGB, under the General's orders.

PERSEUS ARC [REDACTED]

It was a matter of time, when one was going to collect him instead, realising he was now no longer affiliated with the KGB. Vasili was met with someone who called himself "Perseus", and requested him to join his alliance, since he knew about Vasili from his influence, and promised to give him full security, knowing he was hunted worldwide too. Seeing that as an opportunity, Vasili agreed to join in good terms, directly becoming Perseus's loyal agent.

As he continued his journey in the faction, he had shown his skills again which made Perseus as his most trusted agent, unlike the rest. But, at times Vasili has shown inner conflict towards his ideas. During the moment when he was explained about "Operation Greenlight" with the members, it left a strange feeling within his heart. He tried to protest, but he somehow couldn't refute his superior's words, and decided to acknowledge instead. Vasili had kept showing a remarkable performance, much to Arash Kadivar, one of the faction members, being envious of his relationship with Perseus.

Kadivar lures him to Trabzon Airport, where he takes Vasili, and explains that he didn't want any more "competition", resulting in him shooting the special agent in the car he was present in, leaving him to die and bleed alone. But, sooner or later, an attack situated on the airfield, unbeknownst to the dying Vasili who was growing unconscious every passing minute. Growing lost in his own thoughts, about Perseus that promised him to give him protection from the outer forces, but didn't recognise that his "own" people were against him too, as he questioned his existence at the same time.

SAFEHOUSE ARC

The voices echoed, and the man started to lose his breath.. until he woke up, and found himself in a strange place, where he couldn't remember anything of what happened. This is where, he encounters Russell Adler, a CIA agent who he curiously looks upon, having no idea. Unable to introduce himself, Adler briefed him about his name, being it under the codename "Bell". And this is where, all the very events of the canon game begin from here.

BACKGROUND STORY:

Koa is a very gentle and kind man. Not from before though. For he was not the man of who is today. From his marriage.

Everything went well when he married a beautiful woman and had kids with her. He was married in his 20s. A bit too young to be married. But after a few years and having his 3rd child. He started to change. He started drinking, hanging out with his friends instead with his family and coming home late.

His wife started to get worried for him and a bit upset with him too. Trying to talk to him, it has upsetted and annoyed Koa as he started to harm her. Even with his own kids. His eldest daughter was the one who had tried to protect his wife from him.

Which had angered him even more. His family had put up with him for almost 16 years. And in his 30s, he’s still acting like how he was.

Doesn’t even CARE about his family. Doesn’t even care about his ancestors either. He thinks that they’re just a bunch of stupid legends. Trying to put people like him in his place. Well, he doesn’t fall for it. For he is a MAN.

Or so he thought he was.

Until, that one night. When he got home late at night after drinking with his brothers in arms (NOT). He heard his wife’s cry in the backyard. He doesn’t know why but something inside of him started aching as he ran inside the house and went to the back.

He froze in his place. His daughter…had unalive herself…a suicide. His world had crashed and his heart shattered into a million pieces.

A few days later after those incidents, his wife demanded a divorce. For she had enough of his foolishness and selfishness. Koa was about to fight back but the flashing memories of his dead daughter had stopped him. He just agreed and signed it before watching her taking his two sons and went off to live with her brother.

He was now all alone. No one who he could turn to. He wanted to get rid of the pain but not even drinks helped ease it down. It makes him even WORSE.

Getting into fights in the bars and getting kicked out from most of the places. It angers him but saddens him as well.

A few months have passed and he is still the same. Staying in his home and just laying around feeling miserable. Until someone came up to his doorstep and knocked on his door. Opening the door tiredly, he noticed a soldier was there. And had asked him if he’s interested in joining the army for their country.

Koa scoffed as he was about to slam the door before seeing the flier was given to him. He saw they paid a good amount of money. So he thought about it and started to sign up for it.

He finds it hard once he starts training. What’s even WORSE is that his Ex-Wife’s brother was in it too. And he has been taunting him ever since. Which makes it easier for Koa to be angry at and getting into trouble because of it.

It caught one of the Colonel’s sights. Colonel Tāne Arapeta and saw Koa’s struggles.

So he decided to take him under his wing and train him to channel that anger into strength.

Koa has been training with Tāne all those years and he started to grow more mature now. Understanding about his emotions. And realizing what he had done to his family. Which…it broke him so easily. Even after each missions he took, which he successfully succeeded, he didn’t bother to go back home.

But stayed in the group with Tāne. So Tāne took Koa in to meet with the other team that he had gathered with.

That’s when he met General Akahata, Lieutenant Hehu and Sergeant Eruera.

Koa was very honored to meet and did his best to work together with them. Succeeding so many missions under HIS command. With his strength and leadership. He’s started to change again. In a GOOD way.

After 9 years later (this is 1981 takes place), Koa had received a call from his General. Telling him that the CIA wanted him to join and assist with one of the American groups to complete the toughest mission. And there is no one else that his General could count on but him.

And that’s where he started to meet up with Adler and Aleks to meet the newest member of the team named “Bell”. At the safehouse.

Arthur's Note: Just to let you guys know. I made Koa's backstory as the inspiration from that movie that I've watched long time ago. Which it is called "Once Were Warriors". That's why I put it here in his story. It was very emotional and understanding about family and trying to learn to gain love again. And the only way to do that is that you need to change. And it's an ACTUAL Maori movies. But I don't know if that's an ACTUAL title since that was long time ago. It was sad... ANYWAY, hope you guys like Koa! (And don't worry, he's changing!)

BACKGROUND

Kendra was born and raised in Manchester, UK. There is no information about her parents, but she had a strict relationship with them. After her parents had to move to another city to work, Kendra went to University of Oxford, her dream was to be an analyst. One day, when she graduated, a few agents went to visit her and offered to join MI6 because of her intelligence and communications skills. Kendra, being a kind hearted young woman, agreed.

A few months later, she met Helen Park. They had been working together non-stop for international assignments and met Adler Russell during the CIA’s sponsored project. During career, Kendra met another fellow MI6 named “Madam Shell” who was really close with Park before. An intuition happened of Park’s suspicions, Madam attempted to kill Park, but Kendra protected her and earned a few scars from her on her wrists and arms, after failing to curse the inconsequential words, Madam pushed her out of the way and she left the scar on Park’s neck as a parting gift. Hovewer, Kendra didn't renouce, she smashed Madam's head to the wall with great force, which cracked her skull and caused her to kill her. She had to lie to the agents that Madam's been through the "Serious accident."

In 1981, Kendra joined Russel's team in CIA's safehouse E9, tasking to stop the infamous spy named "Perseus". Until then, she met a new teammate with a codename "Bell".

They call you Bell. 

You’re not entirely sure why.

Well… that’s not entirely true. You know why they call you Bell. It’s a callsign. Your callsign. Your very own special nickname. What you don’t know is why you’re the only one to have one.

Adler. Park. Sims. Woods. Mason. Lazar. Hudson.

You know call signs aren’t unusual. You’ve been a soldier for 10 years. No, 20. No 5? Since the war. Why can’t you remember? Years. You’ve worked with plenty of other soldiers who had codenames. From the KGB. M16. The Cia every unit you’ve been in, from every country you’ve visited. Butcher. Cub. Niagara. You know it’s normal in this field, something to both keep anonymity and keep things fun…

But they had reasons for their call signs. Stories. Memories attached to them… you don’t. The name ‘Bell’ doesn’t bring up any nostalgia or amusement to your mind. It’s been your callsign since Vietnam and you can’t even remember why-

You groan. The concrete floor of the safehouse seems to swim as another migraine comes on. You get them sometimes. A steady thump, thump, thump on the right side of your head. Right by your temple. You can’t fully muffle the low groan that falls from your lips as you rub the spot through your balaclava, feeling the small bump of a scar there. Arash. The fucker betrayed you. Shot you, the bullet barely missed. Blood stains the seats of the car and you’re sure you’re dead- How did you get that again?

“Everything alright, Bell?” Park asks. You jerk at the sudden noise. Looking up, you realize every eye in the safehouse is locked on you. Park takes a step forward and tilts her head the slightest bit, her lip quirks downward.

“Yeah, ‘m fine,” you mumble, “another migraine. Nothing major.”

Park lets out a deep breath, she gives a slight nod. You feel like you can breathe again too. You hate when they do that. Stare at you. You feel like someone on the team is always watching you. Like you aren’t on the same side as they are you’re not. You’re not. You’re not. Park walks away, going towards a drawer in the small office and returns with two small pills.

“Here. These should help.” She watches as you pop them in your mouth and swallow dry. Your head is starting to feel like someone’s taking an ax to your skull and you just want it to stop. “Better?”

“Don’t know. Just took ‘em.” You quip. Nobody laughs. You mumble out an apology but either none of them hear or none of them care. Probably a healthy mix of both.

“Take it easy, Bell.” Adler claps you on the back as he returns to his seat in the middle of the room. He does it a bit too hard, your body jolting slightly under the force and making your head swim some more. You give him a glare but he doesn’t even look back at you.

“Why does everybody even call me that anyway?” You ask.

He stiffens. He leans back in his seat, arms crossing. His blue eyes peer at you over the rim of his sunglasses and you suddenly feel cold. Your stomach churns like you might be sick.

“What do you mean by that?” He asks. 

“My call sign,” you clarify, “What’s the story behind it?” For one, brief moment, the safehouse is quiet enough to hear a pin drop. Nobody seems to breathe. Nobody seems to move. There is no wind. No rumble of cars driving down the shitty dirt road outside. All you hear is your own breathing and the pounding in your head that currently reminds you of a siren. You feel strange, an odd sense of otherness settles deep in your bones. It almost feels like you don’t belong here. The pounding on your head resembles the pounding on a door. A red door. A bunker door. Perseus. He thinks you’re a traitor. He thinks you betrayed him. He must be so disappointed in you.

“Bell.” Adler finally says, he seems to force his muscles to relax. “As in ‘ring a bell’. We started calling you that during the war. You could never seem to remember anything.” He leans back against the table like he usually does, his eyes hidden safely behind his sunglasses once more. You look towards the evidence board, just in case you have to look into them again.

Klaus Barbie

These are some facts and curiosities about Klaus Barbie, the Butcher of Lyon:

He was born on October 25, 1913 in Godesberg.

In 1935 he joined the Protection Corps (Schutzstaffel), the SS, and was subsequently employed in the ranks of the SD, the Nazi secret service.

In 1937, as a member of the SS, he was officially registered with the National Socialist German Workers' Party.

He was assigned to the SD office in Amsterdam, occupied Netherlands, where he was responsible for the deportation of Dutch Jews. In Amsterdam he soon earned a reputation as a ruthless persecutor.

In 1942 he was transferred to Lyon: he became the deputy of Captain Heinz Hollert, the commander of a special unit (Einsatzkommando) responsible for crushing the French Resistance movements, and assumed command of Section IV, the investigative section involved in the search for Jews.

He was notable for the deportation of hundreds of Jews and the torture and physical elimination of hundreds more French patriots.

In September 1944, in anticipation of a possible Allied advance, he burned all the archives of the Lyon Gestapo, had a hundred people who knew of his activities killed and eliminated twenty-two agents who worked on his behalf and who had infiltrated the Resistance .[ Nothing is known about what Barbie did in the last ten months of the war: she literally disappeared from every document, from every archive, and even her personal file in the SS register does not provide any information.

In 1947, Barbie was recruited as an agent for the 66th Detachment of the U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC)

In 1965 Barbie was recruited by the West German foreign intelligence agency Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) under the codename "Adler" (Eagle) and the registration number V-43118. 

Reviews of the 2007 documentary My Enemy's Enemy, directed by the British director Kevin Macdonald, note that it suggests Barbie helped the United States' CIA orchestrate the 1967 capture and execution in Bolivia of Che Guevara, a revolutionary who was active in Cuba and South America.

In 1984, Barbie was indicted for crimes committed while he directed the Gestapo in Lyon between 1942 and 1944. The jury trial started on 11 May 1987, in Lyon, before the Rhône Cour d'assises. 

On 4 July 1987, Barbie was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment. He died in prison in Lyon of leukemia and cancer of the spine and prostate four years later, at the age of 77.

Cutting Your Teeth by Caylan MacRae! It had mlm vampires and a runaway and frankly... some insane shit. But it was fun to read. And the MC was very Neil Josten-coded? So I enjoyed it quite a bit. I wouldn't say it was the best thing I've ever read or something but definitely good for a loser like moi who enjoys gay vampire shit :)
