asking royal simblr: show us your favorite IRL tiara and then your favorite *sims* tiara!!!

So... my favorite irl tiara is something that technically wouldn't be considered a tiara, but its just so pretty I have to share.

This is Anna Pavlova, a prima ballerina from Russia. The kokoshnik she is weaing is one of my favorite kokoshnik pieces, especially the pearl flowers. It is just so intricate.

I love the shapes and the colors of the gems. So pretty!

what's something you'd like to see more of on royal simblr?

I would love to see more casual collabs between royal simblrs. Like tea parties or watching polo matches, even things like in universe olymics. Events that have no dialougue. I understand why its not happening as often as it used to because its a matter of not having enough time, but if possible I would love to see it.

I would also love to see some history on how everyone country starts, or just some really cool event, for example a civil war or a scandalous event that caused a law to come into fruition. I am a sucker for history and love reading what people have come up with.

Would you rather: start your current project from scratch or do a soft reboot focusing on a different character?

Probably a soft reboot. While I some what want to fix some of my pretty early posts, I know that I would never actually do it and just keep saying that I would.

I actually know which character it would focus on, Esther. I also plan on focusing on Esther's story in the next chapter, but if I was going to start over with a completely different character, I would say my Huáxià Princess, Zhou Xinyi Gōngzhǔ.

Who are 5 of your favorite sims by others?

thanks for the ask! This was a very hard ask to answer because I do have so many favorites, but I was able to narrow it down.

Rowena Bancroft from @nexility-sims. She is so dramatic and I love it.

Adeline Covington from @covingtons. She has so much anxiety in her and shes such an eldest daughter tm. I feel for her so much.

Everly Ingebretsons from @trentonsimblr. Even though she's mostly an antagonist I think shes a really interesting character and I love seeing what drama she starts next.

Darien Harden from @wa-royal-tea. It has been a while since I have read the start of that story, but it was one of the first royal simblr stories I read and he has always been one of my favorites.

😺 does your oc prefer a wide circle of friends or a few close friends?

While Esther prefers a wide circle of friends, they only has three very close friends. They have known all of these friends for a couple years now and are very close to each other, in this group it includes Charley Romano (from Gredley), Savita Tripathi (from Khannan), and Nadiya Mohammed (also from Gredley)

🍎 where was your oc born? do they still live in/around their place of birth or do they live somewhere else? how do they feel about their birthplace?

Esther was born in Weselton, Esha. Which is the traditional birthplace of Seymours. While Esther still lives in Esha and comes back to visit their siblings, they live in an apartment in Chanaigh Gleann (a big city in esha that a lot of celebrities reside). Esther has an indifference for Weselton.

Screw the tiara!

Show one of your royal sims in an outfit the would love to wear but cannot because of royal protocol.

I fully believe that is George wasn't a royal, they would totally wear a bunch of slutty outfits. That v-line is wayyyy too deep to be something acceptable by royal protocol. As well as the lace, which kind of makes George look a bit half naked (not imo, buuut in universe)

What is your country’s national animal?

Peafowls are Esha's national animal. Seeing one during differnt times in your life can mean different things. Seeing a pure white peacock can mean something great will happen soon, this can be either good or bad.

thank you so much! sadly I can't give you all the links to the cc I use, so I made a resource page with a bunch of links of creators I frequently visit and also some of my basic stuff that I use for all my sims (the secret is freckles, so many freckles). I also do have some lookbooks where you might be able to find something you like. I would tag my wcif, but that only has one thing in the whole tag (I went to that first and it was so funny to me). I hope this helps! If there is anything specific that you would like be to share feel free to send another ask :D

Are any of your royals considered fashion or style icons?

Of the ones alive, the younger and most recent generation have not been considered style icons by any amount, there have been moments where they have worn something memorable like the Clarke Gala.

Of the older generation of royals, the distant cousins of King James IV, Prince Evelyn of Luxembury and Prince Cecily of Brunnswick are fashion icons. Some of their memorable moments included King James IV's coronation in 5767, the Clarke Gala of 5770, and the Octavian Ball in 5673.

Other style or fashion icons that could be considered apart of the royal family would be the URN citizen, Oliver Thompson, known professionaly as an Singer as Prince, or his daughter Zhu-Mei, who is also a Singer and known under the name The Prince.

7. Do you plan everything out before you write or do you sit down and go with the flow?

I usually have an idea of what I want to write for scenes. When I get the idea I will write down an outline and later I will write out everything. Every now and then I will go with the flow, but I will always have some sort of idea of what I want to happen.

16. What’s one writing weakness you want to work on?

I struggle a lot with having the character move around while I write dialougue or in a scene. Movement is hard for me to put onto paper even if I have no trouble visualizing what I want to happen.
