HELLO TO ALL THE NEW MTP FANS!!!

Here is a master post of Mad T Party for the new fans and a bit of a refresher for the OG fans!

You can watch all the videos of the band performing on YouTube or here on tumblr. There are countless sources, but I personally like Nick Turchen's Remembering Wonderland Playlist and of course Briannacherrygarcia.

The OG Captains that inspired most of the fandoms main headcanons and lore were @briannacherrygarcia and @storywhisper. Bri-chan was the fanartist. Story was the fanfic writer.

There's many other talented fanfic authors and fan-artists!!! Gifs and Photography were a HUGE part of the fandom! People would make reaction gifs out of any and everything! A lot of shippy moments that were captured by these talented people made up a majority of the lore BCUZ THEY WERE OUR ONLY REFERENCE FOR CANON CHARACTERIZATION STUFF.

@briannacherrygarcia (she was an OG captain of the fandom🔥🔥🔥 absolutely iconic queen💅 she's moved on from the fandom but please be respectful and don't badger her with too much wonderland stuff)

@storywhisper (Story is another notable OG captain of the fandom 🔥🔥🔥 their fics were one of the backbones of the lore as well. You can also thank the Thackery/Dorchadas split personality for them as well!)

@cogitaeworks / @cogitae (they are godtier ohh m y godd they have gorgeous artworks I swear)

Here is a list of all the blogs I've hunted down here on Tumblr to rummage through for anything Mad T related, u don't have to follow all of these people because a good majority of them especially on the lower half are inactive, and lower half is mostly just reblogs from other blogs maybe we can find eachother and form a lil T renaissance I'm just desperate for any MTP crumbs from this ancient ruin of a fandom lost to time

@elrohare is still active, they don't write fics as recently but thier old fics r one of the only main references I still use for MTP fics character arcs and lore so far

If u wanna get to know more about the performers outside of the band, as in IRL, they have social medias on YouTube and TikToks. I'm still a little iffy on sharing the irl identities for new fans cuz the whole character integrity thing at Disney AND ALL THE OG FANS REMEMBER ALL THE DRAMA ABOUT THIS TYPE OF STUFF IYKYK First I would have to get consent from a trusted source who can confirm that they are ok with fans knowing thier identity outside of T. Y'all gotta be respectful this time fr fr. These are people's jobs and livelihoods at stake. Be mature.

And not to toot my own horn but I've made a few MTP fanarts recently tagged in #myart and I'm in the middle of making my own Mad T Party AU! Taking inspiration from multiple headcanons and performances from the fandom and combining them all together in a multi chapter art/comic thing??? IDK I'm not a writer but imma just post art pieces here and there with lore sprinkled in or something low-key if anybody wants to help me write it I'd totally appreciate it cuz how the hell do authors DO THIS ALL THE TIME 😭😩

Anyways just look at my tag #mad t fandom lore for the basics, devour all of Briannacherrygarcia's masterpieces, watch the YouTube vids, follow some of the blogs, and maybe follow me as well since I'm a part of the collective that is soft reviving this fandom apparently. So i was finally able to get a frame for my lovely piece from @cogitaeworks i didn't expect to get gold, because it goes with literally nothing else i have, but not only does it make the gold pop, but it makes it look like a wedding photo. So i put in a place that reflects that look lol. Thank you so much for making this print available <3

Going Native

This piece was inspired by the work of an amazing artist here on tumblr @cogitaeworks . I have been staring at their Good Omens fanart all night. It’s just so haunting and powerful. So before you read this, please go to this post. This focuses on the two in the second row in particular. And please reblog it after <3

For Aziraphale and Crowley, going native ends up being much different than advertised.

After the Apoca-didn’t, they decide to take a break from cursing, blessing, and humanity altogether to search out a spot of peace and quiet. They discuss leaving Soho and London behind for the sanctity of a small cottage somewhere remote, like South Downs. But as tempting as that sounds, Aziraphale is reluctant to leave. He’s been the unofficial Guardian Angel of Soho for so long. Try as he might to deny it, his heart is here. He’d miss being away from it for too long.

So they shut themselves up in Aziraphale’s bookshop (as much as one can shut themselves up in a large store on a busy street), and enjoy only the pleasure of each other’s company. They devote less energy to maintaining the facades they employ to blend in with the humans, and in doing so, they become more themselves than they’ve ever been.

More themselves than they’ve ever known.

Crowley doesn’t transform into a snake too often, but he doesn’t need to. Like the poisonous plants he keeps in his gallery, he blossoms into a dark and sinister creature, one of basalt skin, with a thick fall of wavy red hair – a gorgeous and terrifying entity, glaringly obvious in his otherworldliness, and fierce to behold, but marvelously submissive to one angel and one angel alone.

Unchained from being a Principality, kept on a leash, kowtowing to Gabriel and Michael and Uriel and Sandalphon, the Angel of the Eastern Gate, servant of a wrathful and loving God, slowly begins to flourish amongst his stacks of old books – the knowledge of the masters. He is still kind, compassionate, even soft to those who need it, but with an unsettling power simmering behind his pale blue eyes that makes anyone with a mind to do mischief wary of him. Of course anyone who needs help or protection will still somehow find their way into Aziraphale’s shop, and be welcomed at that – with tea and biscuits and a quilt and conversation.

But on the whole, the average consumer tends to steer clear.

Since deciding to seek out solitude, Aziraphale hasn’t sold a single book, nor has there been a threat of it in months … and he quite likes it that way.

Through the cloudy windows of A. Z. Fell and Co., passersby often see Aziraphale and Crowley together – the angel lounging on his sofa while his demon hovers above, stretched out along the back, watching his lover read and planting kisses on his head while he does. And like wildcats in a cage, they become a spectacle in Soho, drawing the admiration of many. 

Beautiful to watch … but from a distance.

Sooooo apparently now I'm in the good omens fandom. Do you have any blogs you'd recommend following?

Welcome to the fandom! The water’s fine. :-D

To be perfectly honest, I have followed all of two (2) new blogs since Good Omens came out, because damn near every blog I currently follow turned into a GO blog overnight.

We’re talking people I followed for Teen Wolf/Sterek back in 2014, people with whom I literally have not shared a fandom in five years, are creating/reblogging Good Omens content. It’s GLORIOUS and a little overwhelming.

So I’m not a terribly good person to ask for blog recs, but I can tell you that following @kedreeva and @greenbergsays has added a tremendous amount of Good Omens love to my dash (and painful painful meta that kills me at 7 in the damn morning but oh well it’s worth it).

For blogs I don’t follow but definitely keep an eye on, @cogitaeworks has beautiful art (one of their A/C pieces is my phone’s home screen now; it’s gorgeous) and @fuckyeahgoodomens is A+ for photosets, gifsets, and news. 

And really, just browsing the Good Omens tag here on Tumblr has helped me find loads of awesome stuff.

If anybody else knows of some excellent GO blogs to follow, feel free to drop them in the replies or a reblog. (And yes, you can totally pimp yourself!)

Fandom: Good Omens Rating: Mature/explicit Series: Hunger (Previous chapters - Starved, Ravenous , Sated and the artist formerly known as Epilogue) Summary:   He glares as best he can, but it fades into a smile when Crowley reaches down and slips his fingers between Aziraphale’s, ducking his chin in that soft, shy way that is only ever for Aziraphale. He squeezes Crowley’s hand in return, resisting with every ounce of his will the urge to lift Crowley’s fingers to his lips. For a moment, even the wedding fades around them, drowned out in the wellspring of love from Crowley. It has always been there, a whisper on his senses from that first day, but oh, it took so long for him to realise exactly what it was and what it meant. Notes: Look. I know I said I was finished with this series, but @cogitaeworks​‘s amazing artwork made me into a liar. Also, Crowley in a dress makes me happy.

You love it. You love knowing what you’ll get if you behave yourself.” His lips are suddenly close to Aziraphale’s ear, his breath warm and honeyed. “You know you want what I can give you.”
