When they were in boarding school, people often spoke of how intimidating His Royal Highness was. It was understandable, of course. Cole often wore a face of annoyance. His poker face was truly incredible. No one could ever tell what went on in that mind of his. He took extra precaution to protect his heart, to not let anyone get too close if he didn’t want them near. But, Sam, for all the years he’s known Cole, knew that the Queen was far more intimidating than people could ever imagine Cole to be. Where Cole wore a mask to cover how soft he was on the inside, ice ran through the Queen’s veins.

He spent a couple of days preparing to make his presentation to the Queen. He wanted to be as thorough as possible. He couldn’t ruin this when Cole’s future, his best friend’s future, was on the line. He couldn’t ruin this when your future was on the line. Sam was more perceptive than people ever gave him credit for. He knew things better than most people would think. And he could tell when Cole introduced you to him and the rest of their friends that you were important to Cole. And, even more so, he could tell you were good for Cole. What more could a friend want for their friend? But to see it all being put on hold because of some scheming figure of Cole’s past can’t let things go?

God, it filled him with a sort of rage he didn’t experience often. 

He could still see the look on Cole’s face when the chamberlain came up to Sam’s study, saying that you had been attacked. He had never seen his friend look so positively broken. The way his once smiling face fell. The tears he tried to subtly wipe away. The way he forced himself to stand straighter, pulling himself together, and going as quickly as he could to your side. 

And Sam remembered how Cole had come to his home a few days later, freely crying as he stammered out that he’d done the worst thing in the world and that there was no way you would ever forgive him. The Queen had a plan, and really it was the only plan that would work. Cole had to make it seem like he left you for good, and the only way to show that was to not let you in on the plan at all. For, Lady Serena had already seen how you reacted when Cole left the first time, and they had to mirror those same results. And, for as brilliant as you were, you also wore your heart on your sleeve, so all involved parties knew that you could not mask any of the feelings you would have while they tried to make this plan work.

Sam could only hope that you would understand, in the end. Cole truly had the best intentions and, even if you could not forgive him, Sam prayed that you would at least understand. 

Hopefully, though, the information Sam had acquired was enough to get you the justice you deserved. 

He stood outside the throne room, waiting to be let in. Cole’s servant and childhood friend, Nate, stood with him, trying to ease his nerves. For what it was worth, it did help. But still, the futures of his best friend and his best friend’s potential wife was on the line, and he’d be damned if he messed it up. He had to make sure he made a good case. 

The throne room doors opened, and he took a deep breath. He looked inside, the Queen seated in her throne, looking less than impressed. Besides her, and him as he walked into the room, there was no one else, save for the Queen’s secretary and the lady fanning her. He focused on his walking, just placing one foot in front of the other, and kept his head held high. He could not mess this up, he could not mess this up. When he was only a yard away from the throne, he stopped and fell into a low bow.

“Your Majesty,” he greeted. 

“Rise, Samuel,” the Queen said and so he did. “I hope you come here bearing news.”

“I do, Your Majesty,” he said. “I think I’ve more than enough to ensure Lady Serena can be arrested.”

“Think or know, Samuel? This is my grandson’s future, your future king’s future, on the line.” 

“I know for a fact that I have more than enough,” Sam corrected. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the letters and he diary. He passed them to the Queen’s secretary, who began to look through them. “I found them in Lady Serena’s chambers.”

“Breaking and entering? I’m not so sure that would work in the eyes of the law.” 

“No, I was welcomed into the Wharton home and was allowed to go into Lady Serena’s chambers.” 

“And allowed to search?”

“We have no laws that say a guest cannot look at the things in a home. I was within my right as a private citizen to look around.” 

The Queen pursed her lips. “That could work. Continue.” 

“The letters are those she received from the man who was arrested. I don’t have the ones she sent, but from his, you can clearly see that Lady Serena had paid him to attack Y/N Covington. Many of them are confirming the time and place he would need to be, as well as a negotiation of how much Lady Serena would pay him.” 

“That would be enough to arrest her.” The Queen eyed the diary that her secretary was looking through. “And the diary?”

“That was the more than enough I was referencing earlier,” Sam explained. “I only was able to read a handful of entries, but you’ll quickly find that Lady Serena had far worse plans than having Y/N attacked.”

“Is that so?” 

“Yes. It’s no secret she wanted the throne, but the power she would use when she got that throne? Her diary makes it crystal clear that she was going to take both you and Cole out of the picture as soon as she could. And, while I’m not well-versed in all of the law, I know enough to know that’s treason and conspiring against the Crown.”

“And reason enough to have her locked away in the royal penitentiary until her dying breath,” the Queen said. 

Before Sam could say more, Cole entered the throne room and greeted both Sam and the Queen. “Have we found what we needed? I don’t know if I can’t stand another second of entertaining Lady Serena.”

The Queen smiled a full, toothy smile as she said, “Oh, as your friend has put it, we’ve found more than enough.” 

“So we can turn the information into the authorities now?” 

“Even better,” the Queen said. “She seemed to have intentions to humiliate the Covingtons and us. Why not repay the favor?”

"Hello, and welcome back! If you don't know me, I'm Josephine and this is my second video. I look different than usual because I haven't gotten ready for my day yet. I asked my followers and viewers to comment questions both here and on my Instagram, linked down below, and I'm going to answer them while I get ready. So, let's start! I'll just grab my concealer and foundation. Okay, first question: who is Tucker? Well, funny you should ask, because he's here." I waved him over and he reluctantly moved to my side of the camera. "Say hello."

"Hello, everyone."

"Tucker is my best friend and my next door neighbor. He was my first friend and my forever friend. He's kind of stuck with me, to be honest."

Tucker laughed. "I'm not stuck with you. You're my best friend."

"Aww. Thanks, buddy." I looked at the camera. "And no, we're not dating. We've never dated."

"Our friendship is not like that. We're literally like siblings." He added.

"True." I nodded. "Okay, next question. Where are you from? I am from Ontario in Canada but my parents moved to Minnesota when I was six weeks old. So, basically, I just say I'm from Minnesota. Moving onto using concealer, the next question is: who is your favorite YouTuber to watch? Personally, I like Gabbie Hanna, who is The Gabbie Show. I also like Emma Chamberlain and Hannah Meloche and Ellie Thumann. Together, Tucker and I watch everyone in The Vlog Squad with David Dobrik, including Liza Koshy and everyone in the Trap House group and TFIL. We are currently up to date with all of those and it's just something fun that we can do together. Next question: do you have any siblings? No, I do not. My parents decided I was good enough, I guess. I don't know."

Tucker laughed. "Yeah, that's definitely it."

I shoved him off the bed and laughed. "Get over there."

"Fine."

"Okay, so. Actually, my parents were going to have another baby after me but they decided to build their own business instead so to save money, it's just me. Next question while I put on eye shadow and eyeliner. When do you graduate and where are you planning to go to college and what will your major be? I will graduate in May from my high school here in Minnesota. I haven't decided where I want to go yet, but I want to eventually be a self-employed interior designer. I think that would be really cool. Speaking of that, a question I get a lot is about my filming location, whether it be my Instagram videos, Snapchat updates or now my YouTube videos. This wall behind me is actually in my bedroom. I'm sitting on my bed right now to film this. However, when I film little videos on my Instagram and Snapchat, I roll my bed away from the wall and stand in front of it. I know that's really extra but there isn't another space at my house to film in. Also, and I got permission to say this, I've kind of been lying because a lot of the "exiting my house" shots have been me exiting Tucker's house. His family, who are like my second family, are a little more accepting of what I do. Not saying my parents aren't but they have their limits."

I glanced at Tucker who smiled and sighed. "Can you stop the camera?"

His face fell as he clicked off the camera and then sat on the bed next to me again. "What's wrong?"

"It's weird talking about this stuff." I admitted.

"Then don't talk about it, Jo. You should talk about stuff you feel comfortable talking about." He rubbed my back gently. "Also, you have done great so far."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Okay. Let's keep going. I'm only half done with my make-up."

My best friend grinned and got off the bed. "Okay." I heard the camera click on.

"Okay, next! I'm going to put on the rest of my eyeliner and mascara. This next question says: what type of videos can we expect from you? Well, my friends, your guesses are as good as mine. I'd like to get suggestions from all of you each week to decide what to film. I have a few ideas based on my current plans for the next several months but I'd like to have one video every week. So, in the comments on my Instagram or YouTube, I want you to type, "Hey Josephine" and then your video idea or ideas. This channel won't be just for me, it's also for you. You all inspire me and I just want to reciprocate. While I put on my lip color, I'll answer one more question. Tucker? I think you found one to ask."

"Yes!" He said cheerfully from behind the question. "This person asks: how are you so pretty?"

I felt my face flush. "Tuck, that wasn't it."

He laughed. "I know. It's a valid question though. But the real question is: do you solely make money from the internet or do you have another job?"

"I have another job but I don't work very often. Just like on my Instagram, I don't discuss anything too personal over the internet." I capped the lip color. "Alright. Well, that's all for today. I’ll link what make-up I used down below in the description. Thank you for watching and I will see you all next time."

I reached forward and clicked off the camera. "How was that?"

"Good." Tucker took the camera off the tripod and plugged the SD card into my computer.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Of course, babes." He spoke softly.

I got up and stood beside him. "Tuck."

He sighed. "Are you sure you want to do this YouTube thing?"

"Yeah."

His brown eyes met mine. "I'm worried about you, that's all."

I bit my lip and sat down on his lap. "You're always worried about me."

Tucker chuckled, wrapping an arm around my waist. "You're absolutely right, I am. You're everything to me, babes. I don't want anything to happen to you."

"Thanks, Tuck. You know I love you for that."

"I do."

I ran my fingers through his thick hair. "How about we go out to eat?"

"You don't want to edit?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I'll edit after you go to work."

Tucker leaned his head against my chest. "I could use a nice bowl of spaghetti from Marchello's."

"Ah, how about that? My half-Italian best friend wants spaghetti." I giggled softly. "C'mon, you. I'll take a bowl too."

“ we’ve heard that luminary relations are gearing up to send the luminary celebs to the most haunted city in america for halloween ! ”  

LUMINARY EVENT #11: luminary’s halloween haunter !

we couldn’t think of a better place to hold luminary’s halloween festival than in one of the most haunted cities in america. on october 26th, the celebs will arrive at the marshall house hotel in savannah, georgia. the hotel is said to hold the spirits of patience that died at the hotel that used to be where the hotel now is. the entire hotel will be rented out to us, and we’ll be staying there until check out at 11 am on november 1st.

during our stay, we’ll be taking part in luminary’s halloween haunter festival. a three day music festival taking place from october 27-29. the festival grounds will be turned into the biggest halloween themed party imaginable, with actors dressed up to scare festival go-ers all weekend long while they watch their favorite artists perform. each day of the festival will have a different costume theme, meaning we’ll all need a different costume for each day of the festival that fits that days theme.

take a day to relax and explore this eerie city on october 30th, or put some last minute touches on your last costume because on october 31st the entire lobby, restaurant and bar of the hotel will be transformed into a huge halloween ball for luminary celebs, and their friends and family. this will be a huge party, planned by luminary relations and funded by the city of savannah as a thank you for all of the attention our halloween haunter festival brought to the city. the bar, food, and drinks, will all be paid for, much like our stay in the hotel will have been. there is no costume theme for the party, so dress in whatever costume you please. the party will start at 8 pm, and there will be a costume contest at 11 pm where prizes will be given to winners in different categories.

this event is mandatory for everyone. if you’re on tour while the event is taking place, you’ll be taking a few days off to attend the event.

note: each athlete, internet influencer, and actor/actress will do a 1 hour long meet & greet during the festival when they are not doing a panel, meet and greets will cost festival goers a $10 charity donation and will be given on a first come, first serve basis

HOTEL ROOM ASSIGNMENTS 

everyone will be staying in an executive suite, each suite has two bedrooms, each with a king bed. each suite also has a couch that pulls out into a bed in the shared living room, a shared kitchenette, and a shared bathroom.
