Being a singer, songwriter, and all-around musical artist was a lot harder to accomplish than people gave you credit for. Demands were all you'd grown used to from fans and your record label as you had gone on a 5-year hiatus.

Scrolling away on your phone you sigh, at an influx of fan emails, comments, likes, and shares on each platform your social celebrity presence graced.

However one in particular had caught your eye...well ear more accurately. Tik tok was one of your favorite pastimes, and on this specific post, \ there was someone mashing together two songs. One of your own, and one from a separate band You immediately fly to the comments, taking in the nice, familiar melody as your vocals come in paired with the lead singer.

-Holy shit this is actually really good -Wait this eatttsss -someone tag her in the comments i NEED them to -collab like yesterday- reply: yeah if she ever hops her ass outta retirement- WE MISS YOU QUEEN reply: honestly i dont see this hype this mashup kinda ass -Gorillaz x Y/n Collab whennn???

You chuckle, scrolling past comments as you note the artists. Huh, when was the last time you'd heard from Gorillaz? Last you heard they were on hiatus far longer than you had been and-

Wait....

Taking a breath you press the record icon, fluffing your hair and testing a 'glamour' filter before filming. And right as you posted, the glorious internet we WILD.

-Somewhere in Los Angeles-

"Check this out," Noodle smiles, turning her phone screen to the two gentlemen before her.

"Oh, that's that one girl uhhh, Y/n?" Russel confirms as Noodle nods, your stitch of the video playing amongst their conversation.

"If we get this all the way to the UK...I'll collaborate with Gorillaz to commemorate the end of our hiatus. That is if they are accepting of my invitation!" You challenge, with a smile.

"Ah, we don't need to do all tha'" Murdoc grumbles, plopping into the seat before kicking his boots up on the table. No decorum.

"What're you talking about? You know how cool that would be?" Noodle is already convinced, turning the phone back to the group.

Despite the bickering, 2D's eyes are glued to the screen. Pretty girl from the States. Her hair was wow...and that smile? The way she lowkey called them out for being gone but also herself...the confidence to request a collab?

"Noodle's got a point. We could add her to the new album before it drops." Russel includes, a smile already over his features

2 outta four convinced

"Y'know how expensive collabs are? You runnin' my pockets into the groun' " Murdoc grumbles again, glancing back down at the screen as the video loops.

He presses the stitch icon to watch the original before folding his arms over his chest in thought.

" Think we should 'ave a go at it? I mean, she invited us?" 2D finally pipes up, gaining his bandmates' attention.

Murdoc's been overrulled with a whopping 3 outta 4.

"Oh you would wan' to collab you dog-" Murdoc scoffs, despite being one to talk.

That man probably had more illegitimate children than there were stars on the flag- 2D opens his mouth to bicker and respond back but Noodle beats him to it.

"Well, we don't have a choice because I already contacted her team." Noodle interrupts, flashing the email.

"Since when the hell 'ave you had control over media and collabs?!" Murdoc shrieks

-Meanwhile-

You'd gone from vanished to trending in a matter of minutes. People in your comments were thriving off the fact that their favorite artist/artists would possibly be coming out of their hiatus over some silly mash-up! It didn't take long for word to spread from the States all the way to the UK because, within 2-3 hours, you received an email.

It was fairly simple and friendly acceptance to your collab invitation...something you knew was a possibility but, fuck it was happening now!?

Apparently, the Gorillaz guitarist, Noodle, said the whole band had seen your video and were wondering if you were serious about a collab. The combination of your talents would surely kickstart your careers once again and besides, what kind of celebrities would you be if you didn't give the people wanted?

Good fuckin music.

You pause for a moment, thinking this could easily be a scam, but upon further examination (and a brief chat with your media team who hadn't approved your video at all (yeah they were pissy about it)) you were sure you had the right people.

According to your coordinators, you’d been booked to fly out to LA within a day! Fuck things were happening fast and the sudden dread from 5 years prior managed to worm its way into your chest, sinking further into your stomach.

Shit.

Shit this was actually happening

SHIT!

You stand from your bed, now pacing as your breath quickens. When was the last time you wrote a song?! Hell, when was the last time you touched a fucking keyboard, or a microphone, or a fucking synthesizer?! When was the last time you'd opened your lyric book?

You scramble, thinking of the next best thing to distract yourself but the notion was cut short when your phone rang. With a deep breath, you answer, the fate time call immediately revealing a woman with dark, black hair and large round 3D-esque glasses. She has this huge smile on her face and faint bickering can be heard in her background.

You both speak,

"Hi!"

"Helloo!"

The two of you giggle and the woman who you soon learned to be THE Noodle who had contacted you prior, was wondering about your travel dates.

"You'll be headed this way in a day or two?" She confirms as you nod.

"So soon I know but, good to get started while the creative juices are still flowing. It's an honor to be able to work with such talented artists like yourselves." You compliment, hearing a gruff, more rugged voice call out,

"She's a nice one in' she? All in the day's work darling all in the day's work-" in the back before swiftly being cut off.

"We can't wait to have you! I'm sure we can all come up with something together, you've got quite the skillset." Noodle compliments back, the bond between girls only growing by the minute.

The two of you would get along just fine.

The conversation didn't last much longer though, because your team works damn near fast as the speed of light. Before you knew it you were being escorted onto a plane with a nice first class seat on its way back to your home state. With the occasional photo and autograph, the airport went a lot smoother than usual.

Once the plane had taken off, your 6 hour flight was filled with the very band you'd be collaborating with. From the discography to lore, history, and drama, you were determined to know as much about these guys as you could...

-6 grueling flight hours later-

It had been a while since you'd been home. The salty sea air of LA warms you to your core and the sun paints the sky a vibrant blue. Your luggage is carted away and just as you manage to shuffle past fans down an escalator. There, someone with a sign is already waiting for you.

Scribbled in chicken scratch damn near is your name on a large white sign. Holding said sign is a lanky-looking guy, hair bright blue and eyes black as night.

Part of you considers walking past him and pretending you dont know who it is, but your stupid 6 hour research journey told you everything you needed to know. Besides, your heart knew that would be quite rude to ignore the lead singer going out of his way to grab you from the busy airport.

Don't they have people for that though? To transport celebrities without making a fuss? This guy might as well be walking around with a target on him with his rather defining features. And what's up with that sign?! Isn't the whole point to avoid attention and a swarm of fans???

"Hi! I'm uhh, assuming you're-"

"Oh my god is that 2D!? AND Y/N?!?! She was serious, oh my god look!"

The speed at which your head moves to the direction of the sound ought to have given you whiplash. A swarm of people began to grow, and the flash of cameras and video surrounded the two of you as your heart raced. This is why you hire people for this shit.

A sea of fans demand autographs and pictures as they closed in, each of them asking different questions faster than you can process them

"Are you happy to be back in LA?"

"Over here Please can I get a picture!"

"Is there a reason you two are here alone?"

It's hot, the breath of now hundreds circling as your stomach turns, each poke and taunt making it harder to breathe as the airport terminal spins. Fuck you needed to get out. NOW.

"Why isn't the rest of Gorillaz here?"

"Are you nervous about your new song?"

"What happened at your last show?"

"Why did you run away y/n?"

Turning almost comically, your eyes narrow, sweat beaded and falling down the side of your face.

"What?"

You're soon being dragged, the one faceless figure in the crowd not bothering to follow the swarm as they rush after you and the blue-ette. Speaking of which, that was who was dragging you now, trying to run away from feral fans.

His fingers are long and cold against the skin of your wrist as he tries to navigate not only out the airport but also away from the swarm that is slowly dispersing.

So, this was the man behind those gorgeous vocals? You couldn't help but recall the entirety of their discography, that echo, something so unique about his sound. Like a distant, melancholic megaphone.

But when he opened his mouth-

"Murdoc 'ad me come pick you up! I-" You can't help the sound that comes out of your mouth. It's like a mix of complete shock and your face is about the same. You had no idea what you were expecting. The accent was a given, duh. But, there was no way that was his voice?! How could you have missed this in your research???

"Y'ok miss? Look like y' seen a ghost?" He asks again, his voice snapping you back to reality.

Oh that was 100% his voice, he was NOT fucking with you. And this was gonna be a long car ride.

Tumblr anniversary

It's been TWO years since I chose to take up residence here on this hellsite/app.

Last year, when I posted about my Tumblr anniversary, Jungkook had just dropped his thirst trap birthday greeting to Jimin. And Yet to Come Busan had not happened yet. No one was enlisted yet. We had no idea that we were about to have our hearts ripped out by Jin's enlistment announcement.

My, what innocent babes we were.

So much has happened since last October other than the afore mentioned Yet to Come Busan concert and Jin's enlistment announcement.

We watched the members emotional sendoff to Jin in December. We watched them do it again for Hobi in April. We didn't see but we know Yoongi has begun his service. We don't need to see it. We are pretty certain within the next two months we will be sending another 2 or 3 or maybe even the rest of them off to do theirs as well.

We got The Astronaut, Dreamers, Indigo, a Christmas song from Tae, Vibe, Face, D-Day (and a tour and I saw Yoongi!!), Angel Pt. 1 & 2, The Planet, another version of Jack-in-the-Box, Take Two, Seven, Layover, 3D and we anxiously anticipate Golden. What am I missing? More collabs that Namjoon did with others. We got so much music I can't remember it all.

We've seen the clothing come off of every member. Some more than others. But still. Chapter Two is not about taking their shirts off, as Tae said...yeah, whatever Tae... it is about transitioning to a more mature image including taking control of their professional and personal images, their bodies, their autonomy, their maturity and sexuality. And boy howdy...

We got a very complex and far-reaching BTS 10th Anniversary Festa celebration that took place across the world.

We got Kook Cooks, Flying Yoga, Wootteo, Suchwita, Namjoon on Big Brains and Many of them Sitting at the Same Table Talking (or whatever the name of that show was), Dior Jimin, Tiffany Jimin, Calvin Klein Jungkook, Valentino and NBA Yoongi, Louis Vuitton Hobi, Bottega Veneta Namjoon, Cartier and Celine Taehyung, dance challenges.

We inadvertently got Jungkook's TikTok through his own error and now we are pretty sure the other members INCLUDING JIMIN are lurking on all the soc med platforms.

We got so much Jungkook being himself. And we watched him go from being fine with his couch potato cushion existence to being Mr. World Traveler who can't stay in one place for more than a few days before he's off again to who knows where and adding to Jimin's list of things to fret over.

We got a nice quantity of sweet quality interaction of Jimin and Tae just yesterday. This healed me.

We have heard over and over how each member is anxiously excited to get back and hurry up and show us they still have it.

There has not been any lack of things to talk about. There has not been any lack of controversy. We've seen things we probably weren't meant to see and we've seen things that are dubious as to their authenticity and things that were obviously made for us to see.

Like one of those of flying bird flock murmurations, the fandom is shifting and changing, spreading out and coalescing and doing all this repeatedly as we navigate this period of time before they get back together in 2025.

I hope we don't run off the rails this next year and that we all can find some common ground so we can stand together at the threshold of 2025 in anticipation of their comeback.

And sooooo many more of you have chosen to follow my weird ramblings, rantings and odd posts. Thank you for taking time to give my blog any consideration.

they know eachother from back in sydney! they were childhood friends along with chanlix 👁️. juliet actually left to korea in 2014, a year before kiana. juliet was one of kianas only friends that were actually a girl in school so she sort of formed an attachment to her so when she left she was really sad </33 . she trained hard with her trainer ,then did an audition for jyp and sm and got into jyp. chan, being the leader he is, got in contact with juliet again and arranged a meetup for aussie line and that’s how they got in contact again 💁‍♀️.

their relationship is very fun. they like messing around and causing chaos 🙈. but a lot of times they are also just calm, enjoying eachothers presence and making up for missed time. they have a lot of playful philosophical debates with eachother. sometimes when one of them have a comeback there’s a 87% chance that the other will be featured on one of their challenge videos. a iconic baeji moment is when kiana was doing a vlog for her birthday and when she went downstairs it was dark, and when she turned on the lights juliet was there waiting for her with a balloon in her hand and confetti in the other💔💔.

YUMI KANG - ENHYPEN / YUKIA

these two met backstage at an award show because their schedules overlapped. kiana was walking texting her members because she finally found a vending machine and she accidently bumped into yumi and made her drop her chips on the floor. they exchanged a lot of apologies (even tho it was kianas fault) and ended up talking more while kiana walked with her to buy yumi a new chip bag😭 when yumi checked the time on her phone they realized they had to get back to their seats and before she left kiana asked her to film a quick tik tok with her. they did and the staygenes loved it so she asked jungwon for yumis number and then boom!!🫡

their relationship are like siblings! kiana has that effect on most people that when they talk to her they get comfortable with her real quick because of her personality. yukia love doing tiktoks (most are for their private tiktoks). they have that kind of relationship where they act like they don’t care about eachother jokingly and tease eachother a lot, but when something happens they are quick to be at the others side and either comfort or defend them.

CECE YOON - NCT / CEWON

these two met on a very embarrassing accident 😭 cece was doing some dance practice to aespa’s next level. winter had previously texted kiana to come visit aespa while they were practicing then later they could go hang out or get lunch so of course kiana said yes. they didn’t specify a room #, they just said they’ll be just playing next level so kiana js went with it. but she accidentally went into the room cece was practicing in, she didn’t even knock or check to see who it was she just opened in there and shouted “did you miss me?!” and cece just stood there so confused while kiana looked embarassed. kiana started saying a bunch of sorrys and cece was just laughing and said it’s fine. they met again while kiana was leaving sm later , and had a talk then later exchanged numbers. every once in a while this moment gets brought up and kiana feels like crying😵‍💫😵‍💫

their relationship started off peaceful for the most part then slowly started getting more chaotic. its now to the point where when any of nct or skz sees them together they already wanna leave (love them tho 🫠) they always have fun when they are together and they also love their quiet peaceful moments <3 (happens once in a blue moon tho). nobody even knows how they manage to see eachother so much , but they are around eachother a lot. like baeji, they try to collab when one of them has a comeback.

IVY KANG - SOLOIST / JIVY

these two met around 2021! txt just had a comeback so they hosted a party and invited all their friends so obv kiana got invited !! when she got there she knew everyone (for the most part) but then she saw ivy and yeonjun and she’s like 😮😮 who’s this? (she didn’t know who exactly his gf was) so she goes up to them and asks who she is and yeonjun introduces ivy as his gf and she’s like Oh mY GOD. she quite literally dragged ivy away and they started talking and now they’re like this 🤞🏾🤞🏾. kiana is ivy’s biggest supporter fr. she’s also like one of those elementary students who found out someone’s dating and is all corny about it , constantly saying “ewww they’re holding hands.. too much pda for a couple like you😒😒” (she stopped after yeonjun hit her in the head infront of ivy 😶)

their relationship gives off sibling vibes sometimes, but more so of the loving ones and not the chaotic playful banter one. they will argue (as a joke) sometimes and start drama for fun but they really care about eachother <33 they really love matching with the other too, when you see them together it’ll be hard not to see something similar about what they’re wearing. whenever ivy goes, kiana will be there too (supporting her and being extra) MAMA? kiana is screaming louder than all the other idols. concert ? kiana will find a way.

whaddya know, it's even MORE challenge scores!!! sorry for the major score inactivity lately, schoolwork's been a fuck... but amidst the lousy tourney attempts, a few goodies! a near-PM on HIVEMIND [FTR-10] with very good shiny pure acc (PM doable?) and a PM upscore (albeit not a very good one) on Gengaozo (FTR-10, MAX-65 -> MAX-48)!!!

oh right, the maimai pt.3 collab came out today!! i'm waiting a bit extra to buy it, but the song and chart selection looks incredible... alongside that update, however, was a change to how FTR/ETR was sorted, with ETR being sorted into its own tab similar to BYD. not only that, their stats are now counted separately in the in-game and online profile view, once again isolating FTR PMs and ETR PMs like how FTR and BYD were always separated. because of this retroactive change, i'm gonna have to work a bit on going through every one of my arcaea posts that have FTR/ETR PMs, ever since the addition of them, and adjusting the numbers accordingly... gomenasorry !

I have screamed all my initial reactions at Kae already and I have also cried bc to be loved is to be seen ahahahah so I can actually yap a little more coherently now!!!!!!

I love that Kae always keeps me in the loop for nfs updates but I never actually see the content until they drop it! Even when Kae tells me little bit of their plans, I'm still blown away by what they execute. I had to pick my jaw off the floor with this one. Honestly, I'm still reeling.

When I requested celebrity!kmg and small business owner!reader, I didn't think we'd get this far 🥹 it just makes me so happy Kae loves this couple enough to keep writing more of them. I'll never shut up about being honored af that nfs is our middle child!

The moment I opened keep reading and saw how Kae did the format/structure(?) for this, I was blown away. Genuinely. They're known for their fantastic and creative layouts and I love that I will never get used to it cause Kae likes to experiment and push boundaries and surprise us!

nfs 3 isn't just a culmination of kmg and sweets' story, it's a testament to user xinganhao's storytelling and artistry! The mix is all here. And to Kae: honestly, idk how to thank you enough for your work on this! Ever since nfs pt 1, im sure i called it a type of love language. The care and effort you put into making it special. I never thought i'd see our middle child turn into this amazing piece of work! (ofc i never doubted your abilities, you alr know im one of your biggest fans and i will gas you up forever) But it's just crazy how you turned my little fun thought about Mingyu selling out regnie pudding into one of my favorite stories and birthed one of our favorite couples!

You can’t bring yourself to end the call. 

Your phone is overheating. You’re below the acceptable battery threshold of twenty percent. And the dark-haired boy on the other end of the screen looks more asleep than awake. 

You should end this call, but you can’t. 

Mingyu doesn’t seem keen on ending it either. His eyes are drooping and his head has begun to loll every so often. He’d spent the first couple minutes of the call talking about his day— the seemingly endless rotation of engagements that came with being a celebrity. 

Sometimes, it still strikes you as odd that this is the life you now lead. Being on FaceTime with somebody that hundreds, maybe thousands of people fawned over. 

But you were friends… right? And friends called each other. Friends texted. 

This is friendly, a small voice in the back of your head tries to convince you. So very, very friendly. 

The conversation has since mellowed out. Mingyu makes good on his word; he falls quiet, observing your work like it’s some form of entertainment for him. At one point, you even forget he’s watching. 

It’s why you’re a bit jolted when he absentmindedly mumbles, “You have nice hands.” 

You pause in the middle of bubble wrapping an order. One cursory glance at your screen, and you see that Mingyu is absolutely fighting for his life to stay awake. The sight almost makes you smile. 

“You should head to bed soon,” you say instead of addressing his compliment. “We’ve been on call for— what? Two hours, I think.” 

Mingyu says something too low for you to catch. You give a noncommittal hum of ‘hmm?’, prompting him to repeat what he’d said. 

And maybe he’s just tired enough to decide fuck it. Maybe it’s past midnight and that makes everything fair game. 

Because Mingyu breathes out a quiet “not enough,” and you swear your something screeches to a halt in your brain. Two hours. Not enough. 

You swallow. He’s out of it, you think to yourself, your fingers quivering a bit as you cut, tape, seal. He’s sleep-deprived and talking out of his ass. 

That’s what gives you the audacity to ask what’s been on your mind for days now. 

“Mingyu,” you ask, “why do you want to be an ambassador for Bittersweet?” 

A beat. One that stretches long enough for you to wonder if Mingyu had finally succumbed to his exhaustion. 

But then, his voice— quiet, but not any less sincere— rings over the line. “Because I like your jewelry.” 

Plain and simple. You’re not sure why you expected more. 

He goes on, his tone a little softer, slower. “I like what you’ve done with the business. I like… how hard you work. Your passion. All that.”

Mingyu pauses to yawn. You glance over to see him smiling into his phone, his half-lidded gaze trained on your hands moving over your workbench. It makes his next words a one-two punch on your poor heart. 

“Your brand may be called ‘Bittersweet’,” he says, “but you’re as sweet as they come.”

Also speaking of Sophia, people with more challenging aspects might have a hard time finding their spiritual wisdom. With more harmonious aspects - easier.

I just found out about another interesting asteroid - Kalina (92213). It means “to love” and in another languages represents flower.
