A few of my sillier headcanons for CometCare

None of these have evidence. I just think they’re cute/funny!

-Uni was livid about The Zims 4 going Free to Play because she spent $40 on the base game, and didn’t get anything back from that.

-Barry enjoys baking sourdough, and figuring out what different strains of yeast do to the flavor, rise, and texture. (he has to get Uni or Frosty to taste test for him though).

-Cream is addicted to mobile games like Sweets Smash, or Straw Night. (Don’t ask how much she’s spent on them, even she doesn’t know)

-Sly has terrible handwriting and gets self conscious whenever she has to sign something (totally not projecting at all)

-Blair dislikes government conspiracies not relating to covering up the existence of cryptids, and considers most of them nonsense made by crazy people.

some soob headcanons!

1: soob is autistic and her hyperfixation is magic! she also stutters as a vocal stim that she can't help, even if she dislikes it! her happy stims are the hand flapping, waving her wand, and poofing things with magic! her nervous stim is pacing

2: soob's voiceclaim is the warden of superjail! here's a video of him briefly speaking [ignore the fact i literally screenrecorded him saying cum this is just her voice trust me]

3: soob likes to talk to hocus [their bunny] about their life, and problems! they are very shy with actual people, and they prefer to talk to their own pet - even if the pet hates them

4: soob is very creative, and she likes to draw!

5: they also have a bit of a cheesy obsession with characters that have magic/wear top hats and thats one of the reasons why they wear a suit!

6: soob likes to perform personal little magic shows for anyone shes close with! she also likes to sometimes street perform! unfortunately, she always fucks up and gets rotten tomatoes or that kinda stuff thrown at her and she hates it

7: soob is a bit flirty, but theyre embarrased about their tendencies. however, she is very physically affectionate towards those she loves!

8: soob's favourite movies are the lorax [the borax in sparklecare lore?? idk] and the house of magic [uhm the home of mystery??]. theyre her guilty pleasures

9: soob loves pink roses

10: soob never means any harm, she only wants to make people happy! shes just a sweetie all round, though people dont realize it

OOC: people make jokes about levi being a closeted ferrie but idk if it's canon LOL. if i make that canon it wouldn't be the first time i canonized headcanons for cometcare (sly was originally not going to be trans but i just really loved the headcanons and thought they fit well into fen's narrative :D!!!)

i think norma and scrap both are too but i don't have sona designs for them yet (scrap would probably have a dinerry to match eve, probably made just so eve could draw them together, and norma would have a bugsona!!!) faerie is also a ferrie

This is tumblr user @ladyinsertnamehere , making another blog to add to my list (a few of which I’ve not touched in forever).

This is going to be, broadly, a Darker Matters au dedicated page, narrowly a Winona appreciation page. Fear not, I’ll still spread some appreciation for the other characters, they’re all very good.

@askdarkermatters is an au by Kittycorn of Sparklecare and Cometcare fame taking ten million years after Cometcare events. Not much is known about the project by laymen, not at the time of writing this. All will be revealed in time, I’m told.

hi, anon here who on a previous crit blog (that's since been deleted 😔) said that kittycorn has "too many self inserts"

...okay i was being petty about that. BUT! my other point still stands that i want to bring up again. hopefully it makes sense, i'm not quite sure if i'm explaining it right.

i think it's weird at best and a bad idea at worst that kittycorn's copious self inserts are shoved in with the rest of the cast. since the self inserts are - you know, self inserts - they're incredibly personal and sensitive (flan and uni and barry, sly and eve, scrap and eve and beth, ally and howie, honestly there's probably more i'm forgetting but cometcare stuff comes to mind first since it's what's posted about the most). but the rest of the cast is just... normal characters. normal characters that are encouraged to be treated like characters, with theorizing about motives and having headcanons and the like! and having multiple versions of Just You shoved in with the rest of your Fictional Cast just... feels like a bad idea.

if a fandom is smaller, i'm sure separating off characters that are personal to you in a little bubble with special privileges is easier, but with how popular the comic is now there's no way that everybody is going to be nice enough to do... that. to push aside certain characters (that you're choosing to make characters!) in your comic because they're special to you versus the other ones that people can do whatever with. i've heard that in the past that kittycorn and the clowns have gotten mad(? i don't know a better word) about people having profile pictures of ally or howie or whatever. and i get it, i think i would feel weird if people had MY fursona as a profile pic. but also... my fursona isn't a character in a welcomic i'm making. if you can't handle someone having a profile picture of your character because they're that personal to you, maybe... don't make them a public character? and one of the main faces of the comic? (talking about ally with cometcare, specifically, with that sentence)

1. He naturally has a really high pitched voice but tries to speak in a lower voice, the inverse of what Howie does, giving them a pathetic (if you could call it a rivalry it's so small) rivalry
