This is an archive video of the 2022 Masaki Yukawa exhibition. I was in charge of music and sound. It is a very interesting interview video about the process of changes in the work and how to face his work.

学生時代、作曲の師匠がニヤニヤしながら言った言葉を

今でもずっと覚えています。

「君は一生言葉と格闘する人生になるよ」

啓示か呪縛か、言葉に引きずられて、

詩という抽象性の高い言葉を人に伝える手段としての音楽を作りたいと今は思っています。

今回の公演のタイトルは吉原幸子の詩から「むいみなルフラン」とさせて頂きました。

物語や意味を期待しないでください。

ただ言葉と音楽、そして一人のジャグラーがいるだけです。

皆様のもとに言葉が残れば嬉しいです。

イーガル

現代音楽作曲家、ピアニスト。

バークリー音楽院にて学位取得。

国内外/屋内外問わず演奏活動、楽曲提供を行う。シリアスな芸術作品から宴会芸までジャンルを軽々と飛び越えてゆく活動が評価され、各種メディアでも取り上げられている。ソニーオーディオ大賞優秀賞、JSCM作曲賞入選など。

あやちクローデル

歌手。

今は亡き渋谷「青い部屋」のオーナーでありシャンソン歌手・推理小説家の戸川昌子のすすめで、 2001年から本格的に歌手活動を始める。

「その声と佇まいにより、舞台には見えないはずの物語と情景が立ち上がる」との評から『唄う空間造形屋』と呼ばれ、 独特の低音から高音まで幅広い表現力と圧倒的な存在感、 演劇的なステージングで路上から劇場まで国内外を駆け巡る。

目黒陽介

ジャグラー・演出家。

17歳よりプロとして活動。

自身が主宰を務めるジャグリング＆音楽集団ながめくらしつの作品をはじめとした、日本における現代サーカス演出家としても評価を得る。

また、ミュージシャンとの即興パフォーマンスなど、舞台・ライブへの出演も多数。エアリエルアーティスト・長谷川愛実とのユニット「うつしおみ」でも活動中。

I made music for the video of Yuichi Higashionna and Harumi Yamanaka's exhibition "Play Double". This exhibition was held on the 2nd floor of "safi", a summer-only fruit parfait shop in Heiwajima. The venue was a renovated vacant house, and I felt that the house itself was a large work of art. The exhibition has already ended, but you can see art works made by Yuichi Higashionna here and there in the store on the first floor, and you can also enjoy a delicious seasonal parfait. "Safi" is open until August 29th this season. But it will open on September 3rd and 4th, and the event of the installation video by Harumi Yamanaka will be held. 東恩納裕一さんと山中春海さんによる二人展「Play Double」の様子を収めた映像の音楽を制作しました。 こちらの展覧会は、平和島にある夏季限定のフルーツパフェのお店「safi」の2階で開催をされました。 会場は空き家をリノベーションしてつくられており、家そのものが大きな作品という感じがしました。 展覧会はもう終わってしまいましたが、1階の店内でも、あちこちで東恩納さんの制作された作品を見ることができ、また季節の美味しいパフェをいただくことが出来ます。 safiさんは今季は8/29(月)までの営業ということですが、9/3(土)と9/4(日)にはお店をオープンして、山中さんによるインスタレーション映像のイベントを開催されるそうです。

和歌山県の田辺市立美術館で、現代美術家の湯川雅紀さんの個展が開催されました。この展覧会は、湯川さんがドイツから帰国してから現在に至るまでの、約10年間の制作に注目した展示でした。楕円をモチーフに様々な試みをしていく中で、作品が移り変わっていく様子を見ることが出来、湯川さんのファンの方にも、初めて作品に触れる方にも、とても見ごたえのある内容でした。 私は音楽とサウンドを担当しました。

Taro Morimoto / 2021 Summer New Artworks

This movie was take at the joint exhibition "12 Flowers" held in Kyobashi in Tokyo from 31 May  to 12 June, 2021. You can see Taro Morimoto's new artwork in the summer of 2021 on this. I made the music for this movie with the concept of "exploding quietly in a vacuum" and "the light and darkness of the image is reversed".

2021年5月、art space kimura ASK?にて、グループ展「花、あたらし/12 Flowers」が開催されました。 こちらに出品された、画家・森本太郎さんの作品をstorm petrel studioで動画にいたしました。 私は音楽を担当しています。「真空で静かに爆発している」、「イメージの明暗が反転する」というコンセプトで、森本さんにご意見をいただきながら、音色作りからトライしました。ぜひご覧ください。
