rewatching Tf:tM

Something I realize on this Nth rewatch is that during the 'Instruments of Destruction'/shuttle hijack scene it's not actually shown how the Decepticons catch the shuttle after it's launched from the moonbase.

There's an exterior shot of the Autobot shuttle with like planets/moons and asteroids in their vicinity of space.

Then, interior of the shuttle with Prowl piloting or such.

And then, right after, purple explosion rips a hole in the side of the shuttle. A bunch of Cons come inside. Megatron, Starscream, and Constructons first.

There's a shot where through the hole Soundwave, Dirge, and Ramjet can be seen still outside in space.

Then when Megatron and Starscream talk, after the fighting, Soundwave, Skywarp, Dirge, and Shrapnel swoop in and take the crew stations.

But then in another shot it looks like Kickback is the Insecticon in the chair??

Megatron shoots Ironhide.

Then exterior shot of the hijacked Autobot shuttle heading for a planet which probably is Earth, but with no other Decepticons visible outside.

So, I'm guessing, from later scenes I know to happen, that Astrotrain was involved??

And also that Cons like Thrust and Thundercracker and all the Insecticons must have been with them. Also Blitzwing.

But we don't see Astrotrain in pursuit of the shuttle. As shown, it's as if the Decepticons just flew into interplanetary space and attacked a shuttle?

I mean, I guess Starscream had that ability a few times. He just flew back from Snowball Earth to Cybertron on his own, once, apparently.

Or, was Cybertron just really close to Earth in 2005 after various shenanigans with space bridges and such?

They should have just drawn Astrotrain in there is what I'm saying.

But also, until now nearly 40 years later, I didn't really notice they never showed Astrotrain or any other ship. I kinda just assumed? Even though establishing exterior shots don't show what happened.

Or, we can choose believe Thundercracker is inside Astrotrain somehow filming the whole thing, which is why we also don't see him.

Blitzwing, Thundercracker (briefly) and all Insecticons are part of the air assault on Autobot City. Then Thundercracker is one of the Decepticons shot by Optimus Prime outside the gate (unless that was miscolored Skywarp who was earlier at the gate, but both got injured somehow.)

But Astrotrain is barely seen until Starscream calls for him to transform to get them out of there. And when we see him, he's approaching on foot from a distance and converts to train mode to collect everyone?

sometimes when i attempt to analyze my current self-constructon it gets pretty bleak because i'm terrified that who i was ages 5-19 is who i am at my very core and that is somehow immeutable. but i really do see so much more of myself in these younger versions of me. 5-19 was a pathetic performance and desperate attempt to erase myself from the world and none of it was genuine. every bit of it was a lie. i wish i could go back in time and stop this from happening becuase it tears me to shreds to think that almost every person i've ever known thinks of that as me and it's so impossible to change that. i want that false self to disappear. i don't want to be associated with this person i never wanted to be and who i loathed with every fibre of my being. it makes me sick to think about i need everyone to forget.

something very reassuring about seeing photos of yourself at like 3-5 and recognizing certain traits from the self of today. there is something to me that isn't the person destroyed by shame there is something in me fundamentally that is mine and that i can get back. the person i was forced to spend so so so long living as is not who i am. and my heart breaks for this child who was so thoughtful and interesting and cool and vivid and who could've lived such a vibrant and successful youth who was then lost to self-hatred and fear. and i think of who i could've been if i hadn't thrown out every good part of myself because i believed i had no right to exist and because i thought the very foundations of my being were poison and unloveable. i was so different back then. i wish that child hadn't been killed. i could have been so much more.

Concrete is a paste of sand and cement which helps to bind the building, but sometimes this concrete gets segregated due to some reasons which can be prevented easily.

According to popular belief, concrete and cement is not the same thing; cement is actually just a part of concrete. So basically concrete or Portland cement concrete is a compound material of fine and coarse aggregate bonded together with a fluid cement or cement paste that become hardens over time. It is distinguished from other, non-cementations types of concrete all binding some kind of clumped together, including asphalt concrete with a bitumen binder which is frequently used for road surfaces and polymer concretes that use polymers as a binder. When clumped is mixed together with dry Portland cement and water, the mixture forms a fluid slurry which can be easily poured and molded into shape, then the cement ill reacts with the water and other ingredients to make a hard matrix that binds the materials together into a durable stone-like material that can be used in many ways.

Concrete is a popular building material which often known for its toughness; Concrete is made up with three basic things which are: water, aggregate (rock, sand or gravel) and Portland cement. It is known as a very versatile and reliable material though some construction faults and imprudence can lead to the growth of defects in a concrete structure. These failings can be seen as per poor construction practices, poor quality control or for poor structural design and detailing.

Segregation of concrete is the division of cement paste and groups of concrete from each other during handling and placement. Separation also occurs due to over-vibration or compression of concrete where cement paste comes to the top and aggregates settles at the bottom. This separation affects strength and endurance in structures. While in a good concrete, all concrete separates are equally coated with sand and cement paste and creates a homogeneous mass.

While handling, transporting and placing for the jerks and vibrations the cement-sand paste may gets separated from rough aggregate. But it can be mixed again properly before depositing but it is recommended not to use a concrete where initial setting is over.

Reasons of Segregation of Concrete:

• Using of high water-cement ratio in concrete makes concrete segregation and it happens when concrete is mixed at site by unskilled workers. • Extreme vibration of concrete with mechanical needle vibrators creates heavier particles resolve at bottom and lighter cement sand paste comes on top. • When concreting is done from high for underground foundations and rafts, which causes concrete to separate.

Way to prevent Segregation of Concrete: When the depth of concrete is more than 1.5 meters it should be located through temporary inclined chutes. The delivery end of chute should be as close as possible to the point of deposit. When Segregation in deep foundations and rafts of thickness is more than 1 meter, there is chance of presence of segregated concrete near bottom or in center without proper supervision. This segregation can be detected by advanced method of testing such as ultrasonic testing.
