I’ve always wondered what this cheerful and super upbeat vibe in Contemplation in Snow represents
But while listening to it with my eyes closed and thinking about Albedo just now, I realized:
It represents Klee and her positive influence on him, doesn’t it
(And then Klee’s leitmotif literally shows up at the very end of the track)
#dusk analysis#contemplation in snow#albedo#Klee#albedo kreideprinz#genshin impact#storytelling#and then of course#there’s the elegance. the high tech feel#sophisticated#and the slight sadness of the piano#there’s a part in the soundtrack that’s particularly somber (in the PV he makes the pidgeon)#maybe that represents Rhine#and Alchemy/Creation leitmotif comes in#(same one as Story Teaser and Whooperbedo & Dorian cutscene)#but curiously in the demo the leitmotif doesn’t finish#it almost feels like it ends prematurely before the cheerfulness cuts in#and y’know. From Soil Births Chalk#two Albedos on screen in PV. Albedo in colour eyes closed. Dorian greyed out eyes open#all that stuff.

What the last 12 hours without power has reminded me is that while I am 100% capable of using the wood stove for everything from heating the house, to making coffee, to feeding the kids, it also reminded me that I don’t particularly enjoy doing any of those tasks with it when it’s a requirement.

#my school: oh and u can take electives during this study period in case ud like to get ahead on ur clerkship!#me: oh ok! that sounds great but id rather use that time to just study for this big exam instead#and the deadlines are absurd (each deadline for the classes is every single day. that is absolutely unsustainable what)#my school sends me an email about falling behind bc im not taking the classes 🧍♂️#so. its not optional. apparently.#i went back to reread the first email about it and they were like oh yes heres an opportunity for u to take these classes IF you want!#so like yeah for my own sanity i thought#ok id love to learn from these but its probably better if i just take care of myself and focus on studying#but nope!#im really contemplating more late nights and losing sleep but after last weeks conundrum after losing a whole night of sleep#and having subsequent panic attacks after that. holy shit i finally got all 100%.. took ~ 3 hours
