Have I ever mentioned here how much I love weird art? Because oh boy do I.

I love new and experimental and "pretentious" and strange and I love it when it's earnest and takes itself seriously no matter how silly it might seem from the outside or to an unfamiliar audience. Give me new music and artistic cinematography and spoken word poetry that would make the Dadaists proud and ephemera and film processed in weird chemicals and one-time-only installations and paintings made with non-archival materials just because and any art that's mind-bending or vaguely uncomfy to look at or that asks me to engage with a subject that is unfamiliar or challenging to me.

Friends, are any of you making weird art these days? Trying new things, playing with new media, working with interesting or strange subjects? If yes and you need a hype man, please let me know. I'm not an expert in really anything, but I will take whatever knowledge I have and tell you how fucking cool your art is any day of the week.
