went to a train museum today! 🚂✨

got my cassette tape from @camlannpod (which is good and you should check it out) and it's such an aesthetically banger object!!

i was excited to play it in my mother's old cassette player but it was making extremely bad loud noises from hell even before i put the cassette in, so... rain check on that,

#i do kind of want a cassette player though. especially if i manage to dig up old cassettes that i know we have somewhere #i know ive used this cassette player before but it MAY be twenty years ago u_u #i know we also have an old walkman somewhere but i don't know if it was for CDs or tapes #and if nothing else i am happy to have supported the production of a cool podcast in return for an artefact #please also enjoy my marginalia coasters. they were a gift and i love them

did you guys know that you can just go on wikipedia and start reading about literally anything? shits insane.

#used to have the roller coaster/theme park autism and just spent so long looking at accidents and deaths at the six flags parks #and the cedar fair parks ive been too #except they MERGED and they're like the same now SIGHHH i hate six flags #ive only been to six flags over georgia but it was a horrible experience overall #i live so close to kings island so i go there all the time. fucking love cedar point too #god i miss firehawk. oh oh i went to the orion early riders thing too. before it opened to the public. that was so cool #ive been to carowinds worlds of fun kings dominion and dollywood. i feel like im forgetting something but oh well #never been scared of roller coasters and i think people who are are just pussies. fuck you thinks gonna happen? its literally fine #i have a lot of stories from being at theme parks lmao. you guys are lucky you aren't around me irl because id talk your ears off

#toy pic post #undescribed #90gal #got a bigger whale 👀#still not 100% happy with it but the plants feel like they make more sense and arent just randomly strewn about #and the whale is using more of the depth of the tank instesd of all being clustered in the front #but goddd that back corner my fucking worstie. my beloathed. when i tell you i never want a fucking tall tank again...............#next tall tank i have better be one i can just fucking step into i swear to god #if i inherit that 180gal from my dad its a useful tank size in theory but ill have to try to trade it for something that doesnt turn me #into the joker!#anyway. ignore the bucket i had to take the breeder box with the pregnant shrimp and new snails out for the water change and then it became #A Different Temperature. so. i was floating them. if i shower today i will release the new snails! excited about them #got another zebra nerite (hopefully to distract Doppio from the long suffering Espresso Bean??) and 2 ive never seen before that we just #got in: pink lady nerites???? theyre soooooo cute. teeny tiny. adorable. i dont know if i want coffee names for them or coaster names.#also Espresso Bean fell on its back again. so. gotta fix that..#i fear once i release the pink ladies i will never see them again theyre soooo teeny. at work i thought they were pieces of gravel #but maybe! i have black sand so maybe theyll stick out!!!#and i thought id lose robusta whos barely bigger than them and i see him sometimes still #this is rapidly just becoming a snail tank. theres just so many cute nerites tho look at em......#i also have 2 uhhh tiger nerites now? need to name those too #and i requested we order red racers at work 👀#and if we get cool ones. the snails may soon outnumber the fish #cos now im at. 8? jesus. this is a dangerous line if work for me

the really late 25 days of coasters finale / 7. the voyage, holiday world # of rides: 73 / last ridden: fall 2023

i love rides that go on forever and ever. i love rides with a lot of airtime. i love an absolutely flawless night ride. the voyage provides all of that. aggressive, long, pitch black night rides out in the woods. there's something so beautiful about approaching the trims, taking a breath, and looking at the stars before you descend the pitch black triple down. by far my favorite wooden coaster & favorite night ride.
