Opening Night
Cowslips in ditches
ready to bloom,
crisp new currency of Spring.
Amphibians jam,
frogs tune up
on fern French horns.
Slim glimmer of moon,
edge of silver sequin
on evening’s gown.
Stage curtained
with Northern Lights,
a limited engagement.

Look at this bedset ahh it feels so so unreal❤️ Gullviva (cowslip) is mentioned in ’Majas Visa’ by Alice Tegnér; Lullaby’s middle name is Nalle-Maja💖 Looks like there are bellis perennis too; Lullaby’s middle name is Nalle-Maja and on spanish the name Maja means Bellis perennis❤️ Painful that it is page 12 ….

Wooaa, Cowslip doodle!! When I first read about this guy I kinda assumed that the warren was actually domesticated or something, with bred rabbits 😳 I suppose in a way it was. But I really pictured him being this soft, fluffy dude with some kinda dignified air... think it suits his role as a deceiver. C:

“And what do 𝘺𝘰𝘶 think of them, Hlao-roo? asked Hazel.
“They’re very nice and kind,” answered Pipkin, “but I’ll tell you how they strike me. They all seem terribly sad. I can’t think why, when they’re so big and strong and have this beautiful warren. But they put me in mind of trees in November. I expect I’m being silly, though, Hazel. You brought us here and I’m sure it must be a fine, safe place.”
