Therian shifts are always more spiritual for me. Something I instigated during meditation or similar states. So it goes hand in hand with my pagan journey.
I practice Norse paganism, and in the Norse there are many parts to the ‘soul’ or Self.
the hamr- Body
the hugr- Mind
the fylgja- Direction
the hamingja- Luck.
The Fylgia specifically has often been understood to have animal traits, or be an animal guide. But sometimes I understand it as more therian. Since that thing is supposed to be part of my self.

it feels strange & almost invalidating that i, despite being male, desire to be the primary caretaker of my chicks/kits. i even desire to lay eggs (i do not, however, desire to birth kits). while some male foxes do co-parent, northern harrier males do not tend to their young nearly as much as the female.
does anyone else experience this?

do YOU get phantom limbs… looks at you like this
Stares at u like this
YES OMG AND ITS LIKE HEAVEN ON EARTH
okay so when I get crow type shit happening to me it’s usually feathers (not necessarily wings yet) that are on my shoulders or neck . It’s really fun when I’m outside and I get them because I can feel them moving in the breeze and it’s like HEEHEE
I also do get wings sometimes ! They’re on my back for the most part , my hands are often occupied with being my talons . Sometimes things will react to my wings that are around me (ex. Stuff falling off a table ) and OMG ITS AMAZING
I do get hyena snout :3 a lot . Like most the time I can’t have things too close to my face because I’ll think it’ll hit my snout that isn’t there .
And hyena tail! Though sometimes I also get Jaguar tail as well and it’s difficult to notice the difference .
teeth shifts. So many teeth shifts.
sometimes I get fur standing on my back or spine and I’m 99% sure it’s from hyena so there’s that .
TY FOR ASKING POOKIE 😍😍😍

Once you get this, you have to say five things you like about yourself, publicly. Then you have to send this to ten of your favourite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is cool~) 🌈 🌈
uhhhh, this is a tricky question but I'll try.
I like my artistic talent
I like my silliness
I like my music taste
I like my vast knowledge on many random subjects, I do say it's useless knowledge but tbh I would never give up that useless knowledge for the world. Useless knowledge is fucking awesome.
I like my theriotypes and kintypes.
there, I did it, yayyyy positivity!!!
sadly I don't have that many followers though so I can't send it to my 10 favourite

Crowkin culture is wanting to be the crow to someone’s wolf, a companion to help, one that shows up out of nowhere and does their best. Crowkin culture is finally becoming it, finally, after so long. Finally being able to be the crow you always were.
