1. are you named after anyone? Yes, my real name is, kind of a religious thing so I won't go too into it :v

2. when was the last time you cried? ...a few weeks back :P

3. do you have kids? nope (and hopefully never-)

5. what sports do you play/have you played? Me and sports don't go well together :') the closest thing I did to sports was swimming when I was younger.

6. what’s the first thing you notice about other people? Their eyes. It's a habit! My classmate who I was partnered up with in a lab had these gorgeous light brown eyes and...it became a habit since then :) (it's fascinating how much peoples' eyes can vary!)

7. what’s your eye color? Dark brown.

8. scary movies or happy endings? scary movies haha, I like a good spook that gives me an adrenaline rush. (even if I'm too much of a scaredy cat for it-)

9. any special talents? tbh I really don't know? I'm often told that I'm good at teaching I suppose?

10. where were you born? India.

11. what are your hobbies? drawing, editing and reading! I often jump from one hobby to another though, I like learning new things!

12. do you have any pets? Yes, a blue betta fish named gojo ;) it was previously white and it changed its colour to blue!

13. how tall are you? 5'2 (158 cm)

14. favourite subject? Biology!! The subject really grew on me after 12th grade because of my biology teacher, she's amazing :)

15. dream job? I simply don't dream of labour <3 but if I had to choose I would love to be an illustrator or concept artist!

Since it’s been awhile, here are the fish I currently have!

Colonel Mustard is still around, but he was hiding so I couldn’t grab a pic(I will later if I remember)

Jericho, a pretty black betta who is surprisingly docile,

And Crusher, a super pretty and very zoomy boy. They’re both super hard to take pictures of because one blends into the darkness since there’s no light, and Crusher won’t stop moving!

bone crushers evolved from some of the qu’s pets. their ancestors had colorful beaks they were bred for, much like a domestic betta’s fins.

striders can change their colors like chameleons.

the reason tool breeders, despite being much like whales, don’t have to return to the surface for air is because they bred crustaceans to filter oxygen for them.

asymmetric people clothing resembles a bunch of stockings.

symbiotes “smell” television.

the bug facers were in the empire, they just arrived far later. they were the first to be attacked, in fact. they were just allowed to live as subjects.

the new machines can rebuild themselves and come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. they can transform themselves in the same way someone might change their clothes.

oh wait. does this mean a random fact about me? I have a betta fish named Ziggy Stardust. he thinks he is a dog. he also thinks he is a rock star. he is not wrong.

Languages: alas, US education and geography have left me tragically monolingual. I took a couple of years of German in college, but I can’t speak it now. I can read it a little, and understand slightly less spoken German than I can read. I do speak Academese pretty well.

kou when i first got him in april(i think)... and now on july 11th.  

when i first saw him i thought he was dead, barely breathing in a tall, thin vase.  i’ve nursed him back to health over the past several months. :’)

he has some physical deformities. his body is abnormally long and thin so his stomach juts out a bit more than normal, especially after a meal.  and his mouth is smaller than any of my other betta, so i have to grind up his food in a pill crusher for him to be able to properly eat.  he was very clearly a cull, like many pet store betta, but i adore him a lot and i’m so happy he ended up with me, someone whos willing to accommodate his needs.  

he might not be a very traditionally pretty betta fish, but he is healthy and happy and im glad i could give that to him.

For Round One we have 128 characters competing in 64 brackets to go through to the next round. Because of this, I'm going to try to rush out as many of these brackets as I can today and will update this post with any that are still to be posted later.
