The two things we know about our lone echidna from Angel Island is that his weakness is girls (he's a shy guy) and that he once asked his dad if he could be date men and his dad said no (Archie Comics - also, this is a comedic exaggeration of what actually happened, don't quote me). Clearly, this confused bisexual needs our help, which is why we've gathered here one more time to do another ship battles: this time for Knuckles ships Submit as many ships as you like - the more nominations we get, the bigger the bracket. Most importantly: BE NICE. No bashing of any ship will be welcomed. Use your propaganda to uplift your own ship, not put down others

Any Knuckles ships from any media is welcome - be it the games, comics, cartoons or anything else

Only ships including the character Knuckles the Echidna will be accepted (e.g. Knuckles/Blaze, Knuckles/Vector, etc.). Ships for other characters in the series that do not involve Knuckles (e.g. Tangle/Whisper, Dave/Meh Burger, etc.) may get their own tournaments later on. Submissions that do not follow this rule will be ignored

Submit as many ships as you want, but don't spam submit a single ship

No Knuckles x OC ships. All of your OCs are great and we wouldn't want anyone's feelings hurt by seeing them knocked out :( For the sake of this tournament, an OC is a fan-made character that has never been used nor was created to be used in licensed Sonic media (So yes, you can submit cancelled character ships if any of those apply to Knuckles)

We do accept crossover ships. Preferrably from series that Sonic has officially crossed over with. At the end of submissions there will be a week-long period in which crossover ships will be judged to see if they'll be included

Polycules are welcome

If you have a specific version of the ship that you like, specify what it is and this will be counted as separate to the general ship, e.g. Knuckles/Sonic (general) and Knuckles/Sonic (Boom) would be included as separate ships

Ships pairing Knuckles with younger characters like Cream or Charmy obviously won't be accepted. If a ship is submitted and I'm worried it might make waves, I'll run a poll to see if it should be included in the tournament or not

Also, just gonna put this out there: But Knuckles/Julie-Su and Knuckles/Rouge are acceptable ships for the tournament and I don't want anyone being weird about them. If you feel uncomfortable with them, then mute Knuxouge and KnuxSu

Submissions will be open until Sunday 24th September or until I feel we have enough to run a tournament

Mobile Game Edition: Round One Match-ups

The Question: Which IDW Exclusive Sonic character would you most like to see added to the Sonic mobile games? The Answer: For you to decide! This bracket will begin tomorrow, Monday 28th August, with all of the Round One polls posted together. They will run for 24 hours. Since all four of these characters usually get knocked out in the first round in our other tournaments, for this one I've placed them together in the beginning to give each pair the highest chance of tying to continue as a team "Why aren't Surge & Kit going against each other, then?" Surge and Kit are both popular characters individually, so they're more likely to hold their own in the early matches. However, I have placed them on the same side of the board, so there's a chance for them to tie if/when they do go up against each other "Where are Tangle and Whisper?" Already in the mobile games! So they can sit this one out "Who the heck are Ron/Gala/etc.?" To fill up a 32 character bracket I had to use some real obscure characters this time. It'd be funny if one of them won tho "Why are there so many Scrapniks?" Same reason as above. Trust me, there could've been more Scrapniks, but I stuck to the ones who performed better in the previous tournaments

For those who are not familiar, the Death Note is a supernatural notebook from the titular manga and anime. The basic rules of the book are as follows:

If someone writes the name of another person in the book while visualizing their face, that person will die.

The time, cause, and circumstances of death can be specified within reason.

If details are not specified or are not possible, the victim will die of a heart attack.

If the owner gives up the book, they lose all their memories of owning it.

For the sake of the poll, if more than one motivation applies, select the most important one. The definition of the options and the specifics of the fantasy are not particularly important here, I am mostly interested in the moral stances and rationale of other people.

Amy Ship Tournament Nominations

While in Japan she was introduced as Nikki's girlfriend in the manga, to many of us in the rest of the world, Amy Rose was introduced as a spirited girl who had a crush on Sonic. She's gone from chasing him to being a part of the core team and whether she's looking for love or looking to spread love for the world around her, Amy has been a big focus on the fandom and certainly of the shipping scene ever since she first appeared Which is why our third tournament will be focused on ships featuring Amy Rose. Submit as many ships as you like - the more nominations we get, the bigger the bracket. New Tournament Update!!

Okay, so a bit of an update on the upcoming Mobile Game Tournament. I sent an ask into the Bumblekast asking if Ian could give names for either of the two currently unnamed characters and he gave an answer at the timestamped part of yesterday's Bumblekast:

So, while neither of these are official, we've have some unofficial names for these two minor characters who we're not likely to see again anyway:

This guy is Jack Hammer, who Ian and Kyle said honestly could be called anything, but we're going with Jack Hammer

This guy is Grease Monkey, a name that SEGA said no to, but what Ian refers to him as internally. Which is more than good enough for me! So, now we're basically waiting on "mysterious cat guy" to get a name revealed (which I assume we'll get in the next couple of months) and we'll be good to go :D

Companion poll to this one - what would be considered "hot" in your region? Specifically what's unbearably hot no matter the conditions. Like for me anything above 25c is way too much.

(Also vote for where it STARTS to get way too hot - the higher options are a given I feel like.)
