I was looking forward to getting back into the show after a few weeks’ break. We ‘Previously’d’ with Grace and Catherine heading to Belarus, and went to a shot of Minsk instead of Vegas. Catherine managed to get the Belarusian and his lawyer back to the US, where he promptly faked being poisoned to escape. Roby, Serena, and Catherine investigated his nephew’s warehouse of counterfeit items, complete with their dead bodies. Serena turned out to be a jewelry snob, Folsom and Allie had a conversation without realizing Beau was sitting behind a painting listening the whole time, and we learned Beau has two daughters. Park made an obligatory (but funny) ‘gold in them thar hills’ comment, and Catherine used the phrase ‘ghosted’ (eye roll) just before she and Folsom uncovered Grace’s body, which was a really sad moment, but the flashbacks looked more romantic than hopefully intended. Sonya uncovered a clue Grace left, and Malachi Ben-Gidon appeared with a magnificent American accent and a thinly-veiled threat to fire Jody (who had magnificent hair). The reveal they’d collected the genuine Van Gogh painting wasn’t as interesting as the writers probably intended, as there’s no way the storyline would be real. Beau fanboying over the art person was amusing, and the explanation of the crime was pretty intriguing. I liked the twist with Jody in the office- I’d seen her as nothing but a victim. The interrogation was great, and Catherine got to close Grace’s case. Her conversation with Grace’s mom was sweet, and the end scene with her deciding to stay on was satisfying- I really thought for a second she was leaving.

Romy Rosemont

Played Lola Peterson, a woman desperate to grab the attention of her distant husband in episode 2x08 of 9-1-1 (fox). She and her husband Norman (played by Daniel Roebuck) returned on the ill-fated cruise ship for season 7.

Romy is from New York but now lives in LA. She is married to character actor and academy member, Stephen Root.

In the past, Romy has appeared on Glee (seasons 1-6) as Carole Hudson. Also as Jacqui Franco in CSI.

She has been a guest actor on a multitude of TV series since the late 80's: including Chicago Med, Station 19, Brooklyn 99, and HTGAWM. In 'Ghost Whisperer' she acted opposite our own JLH, and Romy also appeared in 'Six Feet Under' with Peter Krause.

One of my kajillion ellick aus comes from a line in like 14x05 when Nick mentions going undercover for forged art in Amsterdam(?). And I always had the idea of a fic where Ellie is the forger that Nick is tracking but today CSI: Vegas 2x08 was playing which has to do with art forgery and it got me thinking, what if Ellie was the forensic scientist that Nick worked with in art forgery cases… thoughts?

Name: Alicia 

How old were you when you first realized you liked guys getting hurt?: I can’t really remember but maybe about 7 or so? But i never knew whump was a thing till later on.

What was that very first scene you remember that gave you those glorious butterfly feelings?: Hmmm, even this i don’t really know. I have very bad memory but i think it was me watching CSI? Greg Sanders was so whumpable haha. Oh maybe when Edmund get’s stabbed in Narnia.

When and how was it that you realized “Hey, I’m not so messed up in the head!” and that there’s a definition and community: I think I found this community when i was google searching for some specific whump. like ‘episodes where “insert name” gets hurt (hahahahahaah) and then one of the results was some tumblr blog and I got sucked in. I found so many amazing people. I think this was late 2014?

What’s your favorite whump trope?: oh damn, I love love love the getting hurt and not telling anyone about it. Like they’re in danger or something and they don’t want to inconvenience anyone so they hide their injury until it’s too late and I honestly love it when it’s a doctor getting whumped? Like either by a crazy patient or just outside of work? Idk if this makes me weird. Like they’re always the one’s helping people but to see them hurt is just something else to me. 

What’s a whump trope that you hate?: When they totally skip all the aftercare (ahem* like that one chicago fire episode*) Like why must I be denied these amazing things? Don’t tell me that person just magically got better.

Who’s your favorite whumped character?: So many! Matt Casey, Dr. John Carter, Martin Riggs (but this poor guy though, I cry almost every other ep) , Barry Allen, Stiles Stilinski, Oliver Queen, Mon-El <3, Karev, Greg Sanders, Ryan Wolfe, Wyatt Logan, Derek Hale, Jim Kirk to name a few. *Jem Carstairs and Fang are my two fav book whump characters. :D *

What’s that whumped scene(s) that you’ve watched over and over again. (We know you do it and we understand):

Oh! There’s so many ahaha but these are the ones I can remember            The Flash 1X03, 2X06, ER 6X11, 6X13, 6X14,Chicago Fire 2X10, Supergirl 2X07,  2X08,( two episodes in a row with whump. Bullet or stab wounds?: I love both! But if I have to choose i’d say Stab wounds. 

Fevers or Hypothermia?: Fever all day erryday!!

Emotional or physical?: Physical most of the time. But I do like emotional sometimes unless it’s super intense, ( then i end up bawling my eyes out)

Injured and asks for help or tries to cover it up?: Ooo. I’d say cover it up because when the other person finds out and fusses over them it’s so amazing. 

Lastly, does anyone know about this addiction of yours?: Not fully. ahahaha I’ve mentioned it but not in detail to some people before but I think they’re on to me.
