Cubasis 3 was released in December 2019. Cubasis 2 was a must have App on the iPad already, but with Cubasis 3, Steinberg is pushing the DAW further from must have to indispensable. The new feature “iPhone Support” is, for me at least, the reason to spend another 50€ to upgrade to version 3. Now it’s possible to carry music projects inside the pocket and continue working on it when taking the public transportation to work, for instance. Furthermore, I am now able to record new ideas in the rehearsal room with multi track support just on the phone, if no laptop or tablet is avaiable. Another feature that was missing in version 2 was the ability to group tracks, which is now possible in version 3. A full features list can be found here:
