Coromon was a weird experience. Like, I enjoyed it got not complains at all, but since it has more in common with Pokemon I couldn't stop myself from comparing both, which didn't happen with the other games. And the worst was that part of me wished I was playing Pokemon instead, regardless of how much I have lost interest on the games and how Coromon was better in many aspects, its just… you know, not the same.

Also good things about Coromon:

Instead of something like Pokeballs, they are stored in fidget spinners

Pixel art animation is gorgeous

Starters are fire, water and ICE???? weird

"Shininess" and "IVs" in Pokemon n are the same thing here, called Potential

If you don't like the colour of the potential yours has, you can change it to one of a lower potential

Built in Nuzlocke/randomiser rules can be chosen at the beginning

Cries sound great

So, Coromon (JRPG-like monster taming game very much like Pokémon) just came out and because I am having a lot of fun with it, I thought I’d try my hand at fanart for the very first time :D

So. I got a prefect on my fifth reset. And I definitely wanted the shark. So I have no idea if I'm going to just keep going with this guy or do another save file? Or maybe just catch the other perfect starters later?

Two older Amethyst designs return for day 6 of my Fakemon project! Admittedly they don’t have much in common besides that, but I realized that all my previous days have included at least 1 brown Pokemon and I really wanted to break that pattern, so... Also I want to do 1st stage Pokemon for the first week and save their evolutions for next week, but I’m running out of guys I already designed, whoops.

Hi Bird, sorry for the super duper random message but I'm working on one of dem fancy Pokemon/Fakemon games and I'm trying to decide if one of my new Pokemon names is clever or stupid and I know basically no one I can ask. The Pokemon is a third stage Ice/Dark sabertooth snow leopard cat thingy, and I thought of the name Frostbite, and I can't decide if it's a clever pun or just stupid (it's previous stages are Cubzero and Snokit so the final name is killing me). Sorry again for the random ask!

Ooooooo thats so cute!! Frostbite is a bit literal compared to the other two but i feel like its a super nice and clever name so id use it

Notice: New Muse Coming Soon/Pokemon Sage

So, I’m not sure how many of you know of it, but last year I learned about a project on 4Chan called Pokemon Sage where the community’s goal was to create a new and original pokemon game.  They have their own pokedex, region (Urobos based on South America), and several Legendaries.

I’ve been hooked on their pokedex and their originality (not to mention I finished the latest demo last night), so I finally gave in and decided to make a gijinka based on the Urobos Pokedex

Okay, Pokemon Sage Reborn, we need to talk.  It's not that I dislike your game.  I just question what the hell you're doing with this name scheme.  Don't get me wrong; I understand that it's Pokemon and bad puns are to be expected.  Capig, for instance, isn't great but is passable I guess.  Fawning for the little deer isn't half bad.  But Cubzero?  Are you serious?  Were you even trying?  The worst part is that it's a cute ice panther cub and I love its design, but...Cubzero?  I just...ugh.  Cubzero.  Unbelievable...
