The show follows the trio's antics both in live-action and animated segments. The cast consisted of Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Joe DeRita (as Curly-Joe), with actor and close friend Emil Sitka co-starring, as well as Margaret Kerry. The stories took place in varied settings, including a California beach and sailing as buccaneers on the Spanish Main.

My Rating: 8/10

Honestly, the live-action part is definitely better than the cartoon part. I really can't give it a 9 or 10 simply because I never did like the cartoon part as much as watching the 3 in live-action. That being said, I absolutely have always loved the 3 stooges. I always found slapstick comedy to be hilarious. I guess if that's not your thing then you may not like it. The 3 stooges are a classic though and the cartoon aspect is just an interesting spin to break things up a bit and make it more interesting. Again, it's not my favorite thing but it's not bad. I think you should check it out and I'm sure it will make you smile and laugh.

The Three Stooges (no Brasil, Os Três Patetas; em Portugal, Os Três Estarolas) foi um grupo cômico norte-americano do século XX, em atividade desde 1922 até 1970, mais conhecido por seus numerosos curtas-metragens. Sua comicidade era marcada pela extrema comédia pastelão e farsa física. A primeira formação do grupo consistia em Moe Howard, Larry Fine e Shemp Howard, que apareceram junto com Ted Healy no longa-metragem "Soup to Nuts" (1930), da Fox Film Corporation. Shemp retirou-se do grupo em 1932 para seguir carreira solo, e foi substituído por seu irmão mais novo Curly Howard. Esta formação do grupo apareceu com Healy em vários filmes da Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, de 1933 a 1934. Moe, Larry e Curly deixaram Healy em 1934 e se mudaram para a Columbia Pictures, onde passaram a estrelar sua clássica série de curtas-metragens. Review - Have Rocket, Will Travel

Last week I watched "Have Rocket, Will Travel" directed by David Lowell Rich and starring the Three Stooges, Joe DeRita, Larry Fine, and Moe Howard . I am more a fan of Jerome "Curly" Howard than Joe DeRita but he was okay in this film. This definitely isn't a great and wonderful film but I liked it to a limited degree. I actually liked it better than the Abbott & Costello film "Abbott and Costello Go to Mars" and definitely more than the Don Knotts' film, "The Reluctant Astronaut. The plot was a bit thin. It was rather dopey just like the other two films but I like the Three Stooges The stooges do what they always do. If you don't like slapstick, physical comedy and characters hitting one another for amusement, well, you probably don't like the Three Stooges. I watched lots and lots of Three Stooges short films when I was growing up.

From IMDb, "The 3 Stooges are cleaners at a spaceport when they accidentally take off and land on Venus. The boys encounter a talking unicorn, a giant fire breathing tarantula and an alien computer that creates three evil duplicates of the Stooges." I liked the talking unicorn. The tarantula was pretty dopey. Anyway, I was moderately entertained. I had seen this film before many years. It was a rather amusing, dumb film, but it was an okay light diversion for 76 minutes.
