the cybergrind terminals having a custom music playlist that v1 can access implies all of the music that you, the player upload into the game is music that was not only produced in the world of ultrakill but also considered important enough by the terminals to keep around for the possibility of machines entering the cybergrind in order to keep them coming back and enriched, since machines have an appreciation of music that the terminals already use to lure them in and develop a symbiotic relationship with them

this means 100 gecs can be canon to the world of ultrakill along with neil ciceriga, should you upload their music into your cybergrind playlist.

was up last night finally putting some custom music into the cybergrind and as I was testing it out I got one of those levels with a pit full of bounce pads in the middle and got three streetcleaners just stuck bouncing there. spent like 5 minutes bouncing there with them listening to my jams until one of them got me

Tip of the Day:

We have a multitude of customizations to the cybergrind. You may change the music played during your battle with one of us, colored blue instead of yellow. You can also change the appearance of the environment to your liking.

I played through a chunk of ultrakill about a year ago

How do I get back into it?

just go through it again honestly, or play a lot of cybergrind, but its always fun to go through the game again, plus they teach you most of what you need. this might be a good time to change into custom keybinds and start training your muscle memory again. i will always recommend custom keybinds especially if you have mouse side buttons, mine are pretty insane

Would u happen to be able to make cubemaps (take 6 specifically framed screenshots to make faces of a cube) from Splatoon environments? I've been messing around with Ultrakill's Cybergrind customization and I've found a lot of splatoons environments are fully modelled and the standard skybox textures don't cut it. I can send u some info on cubemaps if u want!!! It would be very very awesome and I wouldn't be able to thank u enough !!!!!

alright whee beat the 7-1 secret boss, but I'm still missing two orbs, welp. but I think I'll just go secret-hunting in the other levels for now

might also jump into cybergrind because custom music and more enemies for that should be very fun. also I hear there's more sandbox features which is cool. love the enemy infighting
