hey everyone, my name is ren and his is my special little buddy hocus pocus

he’s been by my side for years and he’s my best friend. recently we’ve had issues with a terrible flea infestation that left him very sick. we took him to the vet yesterday and were given some devastating news. not only have the fleas made him incredibly anemic to the point of having a red blood cell count of 9, but he has contracted FeLV, feline leukemia virus. due to the FeLV he’s having a hard time recovering his red blood cell count on his own and the vet has recommended he receive a blood transfusion. however, she told us that it would have to be done by an emergency vet and would cost at least $1000, and then everything else he needs to stay healthy on top of that. we’ve fallen on hard times recently like countless others, and can barely afford to pay rent let alone what equates to two weeks worth of work at my job.

if anyone would be interested, i’m designing, making and selling custom perfumes and colognes for very cheap. all you need to do is tell me what types of scents you like and i can create a one of a kind fragrance made just for you! if you receive the bottle and decide you like it i’ll be writing down the recipes so that they can be recreated. i can also create custom fragrance oils if you have a specific scent you’d like in your perfume!

currently they are being bottled in 3ml vials but if you’d like more i can absolutely accommodate.

i THINK I've settled on something re notes for the flannel scent replacement using the available options on the house of gloi custom perfume listing

top note: dirt

middle note: lavender

base note: vanilla bean

fourth note: chag nampa

if I did my research right these all should play nice together? am trying to invoke an masculine autumnal cozy scent that ties back to gardenverse (ie soil and plants and warmth) a little but ultimately I want it to be super comforting and calming and such-- needs to be not overly pungent bc I'm actually pretty sensitive to smells ;_;

other things I considered:

- top notes: mint?? blood orange??

- middle notes: chamomile, clove, leaf pile, leather, ocean air, rain, sage,

- base note: cashmere, clean musk, dark patchouli, oakmoss, Tonka, vetiver, white oak, woodsmoke

If anyone knows more about this than me and can give some insight on what would go well together, please feel free!

I really wish there was an official Madoka Magica perfume line. I use those body sprays from Bath & Body Works in my craft but those have high alchohol content and they just don't hold up to the effect that real perfume does. Or maybe I just need to find a specific scent, for example I have Champagne Apple & Honey from B&BW that works for Kyoko. Maybe I can find one that smells like cookies for Mami (like the biscuits you have with tea), I already have B&BW's Saltwater Breeze that I've used for oceanic-based entities that can work for Sayaka, I also have their Strawberry Poundcake which is super sweet like desserts that can work for Nagisa, etc

Maybe I'll go searching for legit perfumes that would fit the megucas, recommendations are welcome on this post.

the other package that arrived today was the bottle of perfume we ordered a few weeks ago, which came with a bunch of free samples and a free scented candle.

the bottle of perfume is Silvestre Lavender by Bravanariz and the samples are Gener, Maig, Agost, and Octubre which are also from Bravanariz (we've tried Octobre before and really liked it so I'm interested to see what the others smell like).

I really didn't expect the candle but I guess it counts as one of the free samples. it's 724 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian and it's a nice fresh scent.

as for Silvestre Lavender, it's very citrusy with lavender and a kind of herbal scent that I can't pinpoint. it's probably the most realistic lemon note I've found in a perfume so far. it's also a kind of warm savoury smell that I really like as a summer scent
