May I ask what about Sense8 was racist? I never watched the show but it literally seemed like the exact opposite

okay so first off im white so im not in the best position to speak on this but i have seen people complaining about the storylines for the characters of color being based on cultural cliches -kala’s storyline is almost entirely centered around an arranged marriage, for example. also things like miguel silvestre, who is spanish and playing a mexican character, not great!

and im not going to get into any of the issues that have been brought up against the wachowski sisters because im not super familiar with it, but if someone more familiar with their problems wants to add to this post, please do.

@cxernii: YES OH MY GOD I've had people tell me they were jealous of my ADHD, OCD and/or insomnia. They assume that ADHD is energy all day, OCD is being always tidy or organized, and insomnia is not sleeping so you have time to do other things. It makes me so upset that sometimes I don't know how to respond properly and explain that that's not the reality AT ALL.
