Comte Election Story, 6th Anniversary Event (JPN 2023)

I managed to get Comte's collection story during the 6th year anniversary event in the JPN version of the game. As usual, my translation skills are rudimentary at best, so this is just a rough/general sense of the contents. Rest of the translation is below the cut:

Sweet and lovely, our everyday life is irreplaceable. After becoming a vampire, I’ve lived with him forever like this. I seek out more and more of the man I love than anyone else--

Comte: Good morning, MC. You’re up very early today.

I went down to the dining room a few hours before dawn--only to find Comte nursing a teacup gracefully at one end of the table.

MC: Good morning. I managed to wake up somehow…how about you?

Comte: Actually, I just got back.

When I asked, he told me that the host of the party started talking to him all night, and they didn’t part ways until after midnight.

Comte: I was going to finish this cup of tea to unwind, and then try to rest til noon.

He runs a hand through his freshly washed hair and brings the cup to his mouth in a series of elegant gestures that makes me fall in love with him all over again. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been up all night, but my heart readily starts beating faster.

Comte's eyes narrowed mischievously and he left his cup behind to approach me. A beautiful beast gazed at me as if to take aim at his prey, and he drew me in with supple hands.

MC: I didn’t intend it that way but…it’s true that I'm captivated. Your damp hair and lovely gestures are so sexy that I’m at a loss…

Comte: Saying such a thing…you’re a naughty woman, MC. Even though I tried to quell my ardor with a cold shower and hot tea...I’m glad to hear it, even though I’m far from calm.

Ring: Yeah. I’m glad we did it without any issues.

opinions on the recent jude story event

okay cybird gave me smth very different and interesting this time!!! i’ve always wanted to see jude’s ruthless side since yk it’s usually him showing mercy to people and giving them punishments rather than offing them without hesitation (like what kate herself said) and they gave it to me🥹

when jude took out the tail… i was embarrassed for kate LMAO… i loved that the moment he saw kate as a hostage, he gave up everything and just did the violent route. the part where kate fell to the ground along with the arm carrying her was kinda cool bc it instantly shifted the tone 😳anyway as usual, whenever he does smth sexual to kate, he makes that annoyed/angry face and IMO it means it’s not smth he fully enjoys which connects to his bond line where he says he hates men who use women just for pleasure aaand i think it’s nice that it’s consistent with his character. it’s always him being “ugh why are u even enjoying this?!” (i mean sure sometimes he’s like “you like being tortured hm😏” too). also it’s WILD to think that they did all that in a bloody room with all those corpses.. it also surprised me that they went further than kissing this time like yes keep going👍👍

i always love his bitter ends a little more than his premium ones bc we can get hints of important jude information (like from the cruise event where he kinda helped a kid👀). there was one thing he said that caught my attention and could be related to my theory about him but i’ll talk about it another time.

overall, it was a really fun event (it’s jude i would’ve eaten it up anyways but shhh) and the other routes were also interesting💞

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING he's from ikemen revolution: love and magic in wonderland (ENG)/イケメン革命◆ アリスと恋の魔法(JPN)!!! my url is the official shorthand for it hehe. it's an mobile otome game with isekai foundations by cybird and it has two main story arcs - alice in wonderland main romance route, and through the looking glass romance+. not everyone has a looking glass route but jonah does!!

i''ll put all my rambling under a cut because i'm infodumping about him (sprry .__.)

the 'wonderland' in ikerev is split into factions! red, black, and neutral. like cards. everyone is assigned a card as their rank/social status. the red+black cards are the cardsuits hearts and diamonds, and black is clubs and spades. both of the groups are rival factions representing hierarchical inheritance (red) and 'rule of the strongest' (black). the ranks in red you are usually born into, and the ranks in black you earn by defeating the previous holder of that rank. the rankings in terms of importance are the same as a card deck; king -> queen -> jack -> numbers -> ace.

jonah's the queen of hearts! he was born into that rank as the elder of two brothers and works really hard to live up to those shoes. his younger brother is in the black army after excommunicating himself from the clemence family because he believed more in the philosophy of the black army. his name's luka and he's the jack of spades. we love him he's one of my best friends ever.

there is also a cheshire cat (loki genetta) and a joker of the deck (harr silver) as well as a few others (i can ramble about everyone another time hehe)

i'm alice! i believe everyone is alice, since in ikerev 'alice' is a title given to the one who falls from the world of reason into cradle (ikerev's name for wonderland). so really i'm An alice. one of many. i fell from the world of reason into cradle, and jonah was one of the very first faces i met after falling into the central quarter when i arrived. at first sought refuge with the black army, but i became super interested in learning about the red army, because their differing perspectives were fascinating to me! i adore everyone, so i wanted to learn as much as possible since i couldn't go home for a little while. the veil between cradle and reason thins every now and then, but it isn't constant.you can't go back and forth easily, so i was trying to acclimatize myself with their world as much as possible.

through that, i ended up spending some time with the red army, and since jonah is the second highest rank, he spent some time in rotation showing me around, acting as my guard (many people in cradle don't like the knowledge that an alice is present, and see it as a bad omen when an alice falls into cradle). i got to know him through those hehe. eventually i convinced him to show me around the central quarter (the neutral ground between red and black) too, and that's where his favourite patisserie is actually! the first time he went on a little ramble about how particular he is towards his mille-feuille i thought it was so so charming.

he's the type who gets flustered over his own feelings easily, so he was vehemently in denial about caring for me for such a long time. one of my alltime favourite cgs (the one below of us in the rain) is the first time he showed concern for me. he was worried because i was out exploring cradle and it'd started raining, and he'd come looking for me, and shook my shoulders gently and told me not to do such reckless things again, i could've been hurt! or killed! or sick! i could've fallen! hehe....

uhm so these (arrow pointing down) are some of my favourite cgs of us..!!

the last one is him making as assortment of sweets and pastries for valentine's day <3 (he loves baking!! especially desserts!!!)

mm sorry i have been posting nothing. but the few mobile games ive been playing are very uhhh unimpressive in output. ill try to translate stuff i found mildly amusing tho if that interests y'all but u see today im powered with annoyance. the most empowering emotion when it comes to getting stuff done

so cybird decided to make a “digital archive” on animate for a crisp ~1500 yen. the description was kinda vague (+ i dont have the ikesen one, which i think exists? idk idc) so i was curious. iirc there were “deluxe” preorder vers with acryl stands, while this basic preorder one comes with a sheet of glossy paper. u can purchase the code by itself the day of release, so idk wtf they were thinking. dawg i spent $30 USD to ship this bc i timed my forwarding shipments poorly sigh

a “digital archive” according to whoever set this up is just a lazy online artbook. if you like full body shots this is fine (...doesn’t have all of them), otherwise it’s kinda garbage. ig there’s a niche for it, as ikevam downgraded the quality of the character portraits in-game a yr or so ago, but lol man they couldn’t even provide all of the story CGs. don’t see the point in making the former a secret anymore as all of the main stories are 3+ yrs old and said art is used for public promo anyway i was curious if they’d provide all of Galileo’s emotion portraits (since the smile one hasn’t been seen in HD yet) but they conspicuously left out all the ones we haven’t seen. they don’t even provide shots of jeanne’s uncovered face....... the most important lesson was remembered today. never get emotionally attached to a GaaS

i think the reason enemies to lovers works so well for motonari is because he's so late-game. like, tbh i didn't know much for him before i started his route, so he was a really clean slate

uesugi-takeda forces are great for the whole enemies to lovers thing too but it's really hard to dislike them since i've been getting to know them for years. what's more is like you don't even get an enemies moment from them really??

i rmb the discourse about motonari route when it came out and it's why i've been so hesitant to play him but goddamn, i wish i played him sooner. i don't think you can have a really good enemies to lovers story without them being?? enemies?? first?? and props to cybird for really leaning into it. dgmw, i love u-t, but they're not enemies to lovers, and if you like that trope, you like that trope. i, 4 one, love that trope and i'm really thrilled to see how it's playing out so far in motonari route and really excited to read more

I was so excited waiting to play this newly ikemen series. And like the other ikemen series, the art is so beautiful 💖 I can't wait for this to be localised into english version. Well let's hope it won't be long till then.

At first I didn't know who would be my fav, but as I play I found my fav ikemen here, which is Victor!❤️ The only guy with long hair. The same name as my fav guy in another otome game. He's a wonderful guy, by the way 🥰

Unfortunately Victor is the last character on the list so it's undoubtedly his story will also be released lastly :(

The game interface and the gameplay mostly the same as Ikemen Prince. You'll find no difficulty playing this even in jp version.
