Aquacontroller III is online!

So, as illiterate as I am with the computer - I actually was able to finally get my aquacontroller III online last night.  This is truly exciting, since I can now actually see what the hell is going on with the tank for a 24 hour cycle. I now need to get another wireless controller to get my small tank online as well.  I also believe that the aquanotes software will allow me to have access to both of this tanks with the same program.

Clint and I are also going to attempt to get our tanks "live."  Hopefully we can figure out how to get a link from the controller's web address to show up here on the site - so that the properties of the tank would be live at all times.  Good goal, not sure if its possible though - clearly, not something I will even try to figure out.

In other news, I just received 5 Bangai Cardinals from a local reefer.  Two already appear to be separating from the rest of the group, which is great!  I hope that out of the 5 I can get two nice breeding pairs.  I will probably rear the Fry in my large refugium under the main tank - as this is a great place to feed them (any extra food goes to the main display or feeds the critters in the fuge, and there are already tons of critters in the fuge, just waiting to be eaten.  Hopefully this will help with the process of constantly raising BBS.  I hope that the fish can make it for 5-7 days on BBS and then switch to cylopeze or something nice and simple.

Both pairs of clownfish are still not nesting.  Unfortunately my large spawning pair of true percs died in the recent tank move, it was a sad event for sure.  Now I have a younger pair of true and a juvenille pair of false percs.

I hope to get a harem of flame wrasse in January, as well as some other active fish.

Corals are growing like a weed- I had to increase the output on both CA reactors for each tank as the CA and ALK were being depleted too fast.  I hope the new changes will not adversely affect the tanks at all.

I have taken a ton of pics of the tank moves, so I hope to get a few more before I totally clean up the tanks and have a set of shots to show the progress, as well as some coral growth pics.
