in a version of sm2099 where the writer's room cared about their women we would have gotten explicit, on-panel evidence that tyler stone wanted xina dead yesterday for reasons entirely separate from her connections with miguel. don't get me wrong, the miguel thing helps; tyler was probably doing a premature victory lap for successfully isolating miguel from his support system, as abusers love to do, only for some knight in shining armour in the form of a twelve-year-old girl to decide that miguel is now her sweet bun to guard. her pookie. her mantou.
anyway. she's already an ideological deviant in a setting that values homogeneity, is far too smart for her own good, and was one of the people directly responsible for getting kron expelled because she refused to keep her head down. as she gets older, she declines to work with alchemax -- and given her expertise in technology and AI, her refusal (especially as one of their former students), to the company, was likely a huge loss for their dedication towards a more ironclad surveillance state. the world's most massive middle finger. she could have been one of their crown jewels. this was likely on par, or an even bigger loss than if miguel... say, refused to comply on the corporate raiders project (oops), and even tried to quit (double oops).
she's 100% been on a watchlist since she was thirteen, and she knows it, if her development of the paranoia perfect 6.0 protocol says anything about her distrust towards the state. good for her!

I am HEREBY ANNOUNCING a SoulSilver Nuzlocke run!! The comics I draw about it will not be fully sequential (more like interspersed snapshots) since I doubt I can commit to such a big project, but hopefully you all can get some enjoyment from them nonetheless.

The Gang's all here
[Yeah, I finally remembered this existed, sorry about that
Sidenote: I'll be keeping the story posts as separate from character interactions from here on out... and probably add ask hints now that I think about it so you can keep track on who you can ask.]

A little comic I did a few years ago. I found it while going through some boxes and thought I'd complete it with GIMP. Does anyone else remember the episode of Pokémon where Ponyta and Rapidash decide when their fire burns someone and when it doesn't? I assume the same applies to all fire types. I was considering doing a nuzlocke with Mabel as the main character but I got bored. :P Maybe I'll try again sometime...

Synopsis, Content Warnings, and Nuzlocke Rules Below!
Synopsis:
Our story follows two teenagers, Kentaro and Kiana, who are struggling to accept each other after becoming step-siblings due to their parents remarrying. By strange and unexpected circumstances, they have been sent back in time by a being called Arceus with a single vague request: Seek Out All Pokémon.
No longer in Sinnoh and now in the ancient region of Hisui, Kentaro and Kiana must work together to learn how to accept one another and help the region and its people with the assistance of the Galaxy Expedition Team. To avoid an all out war between the Diamond and Pearl Clans of the region and protect people from the dangers of the wilds, the duo must work together through bonding with people and Pokémon alike.
Learning the value of community and protecting one another in the face of dangers, Kentaro and Kiana will have to come together on common ground while making some friendships and memories along the way.
