"Because I'm tired of it honestly. Besides I think the fans would lose it seeing my face without a beard again." He laughs, like the maniac he is. "Fernando, how is Adella going to react?" Fernando stops, thinking about your 9-month-old baby girl.

"Ah, didn't really think about it." He admits scraping the razor down and you whine watching as his beard disappears. "Nando," You groan covering your eyes. "I can't watch this," You mumble and going back to your baby girl.

Fernando laughs as he continues to shave. You'd get over it, besides you'd get to see him stubble now instead of his full grown beard. "Love, I'm finished." He calls from down the bathroom. Adella squeals hearing her Papa's voice and starts to bounce frantically in your arms.

"Oh, baby, you're going to hate this." You sigh knowing your daughter knew nothing else but her father with a beard. Fernando laughs hearing that and walks in with a towel covering the lower half of his face. "Fernando," You groan as Adella leans out of your arms reaching out for her Papa.

"What? I didn't want to freak her out completely." He whines, and stops in front of you and Adella. Adella babbles and then whines when Fernando doesn't grab her automatically. "Adella, peek-a-boo." He drops the towel and her smile slowly fades.

"Oh, Fernando." You whine seeing where this is going as her bottom lip wobble. "Oh, Oh Della no." Fernando's heart breaks and reaches out for her but she screams and hides her face into your chest and you back up. The mother bear instinct in you coming out at you glare at your husband.

"Della, my little star it's Papa." He soothes but she screams louder and cries clutching you harder. "No, go and don't come back until you grow your beard back." You glare walking away as Fernando ruffles his hair and trudges back to the bathroom.

"Okay, maybe shaving was a bad idea." He grumbles.

On the occasion your husband wasn't working over winter break, he would be at home with you and your two year old Sofia. Sofia is an energetic child always on the run whether it's at home or in the Paddock. And now was currently at the stage where now she was copying everything anyone was saying.

Sofia was a daddy girl, and has him wrapped around her finger since the day she was born.whether it was asking for some juice, wanting a toy or candy from the store, or simply wanting to be held by him he would do it with out batting a eye. With the explanation of " she's only this small for a little bit."

On this rare day she was calm and was playing in the living room with Fernando, you were currently looking in the fridge looking for something to make for dinner. " Nando what should we eat tonight". Now silently hoping he will eat out or order food. " we can order something" hearing a giggle " Nando " Sofia yelled out looking at her fathers shocked face.

speed walking to the living room seeing your husband's jaw dropped still holding the plastic cookie she gave him. " No daddy not Nando" he said after a few minutes of shock. shaking her head " No daddy Nando" still giggling loving the looks on both of your faces.

Sitting by Nando on the floor and gently pulling her into her lap, " baby you have to say daddy not Nando." batting her lashes and her eyes she clearly got from Fernando " Okay mommy" reaching her arms towards Fernando quickly bring her to his chest letting out a sigh of relief as he hoped it was only a one time thing. " OK Nando "

At this time it was you letting out a laugh as you now realized the name was going to stick . Turning his head in your direction " it's not funny Y/N/N", saying the last part loudly so that Sofia could hear. She did but still responded with " Nando" repeating the name over and over like a chant. Reminding him of when she kept repeating Damn after hearing lance say it which lasted for two days. " you know she's going to go on for another day" he only nodded pulling the girl towards his chest and resting his head on his baby's head not putting the whole weight. Only letting out a sigh and giving a small nod.

He prayed the two days would hurry.

Little Menace

Girl!dad Nando has my heart.

Fernando had always wanted to be a dad. When he and his girlfriend found out she was expecting he was thrilled. He couldn’t wait to take his son karting, teach him all about the world of cars and racing. That didn’t change his mind when they found out at her scan that they were having a little girl either. What he didn’t expect was that he would end up with an exact carbon copy of himself. Sure, she’d got her mothers looks but the personality, that was all down to him. 

He wasn’t sure if he was proud of that or slightly mortified.

The first time he takes her to the track, she has no fear. She zooms round the track as fast as she can, taking the corners like a pro, not a care in the world. As she comes to a stop the first thing she does is run to her dad, letting him take off her helmet she smiles at him with a wide toothy grin. “Did you see me papa?”

"I did bebita. You were amazing!" he smiles back, as he squeezes her tight.

That’s when he knows she’s destined to be on the track. 

He gets her into competitions, racing other young karters when he really starts to see his personality come out. She overtakes another young driver, pushing him slightly off track as she shows no signs of slowing down. She does the same a few more times until she’s out in front leading. 

He cheers the loudest for her as she crosses the finish line, the little checked flag being waved as the other kids cross behind her. She pulls up, climbs out of her car and what she does has him internally cringing. 

She begins to dance, wiggling her butt from side to side before she puts her little hands on the top of her helmet and dances wiggling her hands back and forth. 

“She is definitely your child,” his girlfriend says, smacking his chest as she walks to go and get her child. 

“Where did she even watch me doing that?” he mutters to himself as he follows to go celebrate her first of many wins to come.

FIRST OF ALL kimi doesn’t really vibe with most people in general, let alone anyone who’s trying to get with his little lumienkeli. kimi was lucky to raise a little girl similar to him, who listens when he places a no dating rule lasting until she’s 21 (as far as he knows anyways). despises the guys on the grid trying to get with her; he was one of them once so he thinks of them as animals, especially leclerc who’s known for his brow-raising dating life. also hates pierre but he already didn’t fw him bc he’s french. he is SLIGHTLY more easy going with women around his daughter so any grid guys with girlfriends might have an advantage. he finds that he wants the im-a-dog-and-ill-do-whatever-my-girl-says type for his daughter, but he dislikes unintelligence. he does not like anyone on the grid, but he best tolerates:

OK SO JENSON is a bit less intense than kimi, however he is much more publicly affectionate with his daughter which means that he has definitely gone on public rants about how no man is good wen enough for his baby. that being said, he is a decent judge of character so he doesn’t hate anyone on the grid. but he gets real serious when he notices people hitting on his baby. this is mostly bc he was def a whore when he was younger so he isn’t quick to trust guys who are living the same lifestyle he was. he kind of turns on dad-mode when he notices anyone eyeing her up. but alas, he raised his own mini-me, who attracts just about everyone, and who likes to flirt back. it takes warming up to, but he can see himself fine with most of the drivers. he most prefers people who are friendly and who didn’t act like him when he was in f1 like:

You know how you look at someone and feel your heart swell with pride and joy? That was how Charles was feeling the exact moment he saw his pretty little girlfriend get her bachelors degree. She looked so gorgeous in the white outfit he had picked with her, so pure and innocent.

Charles genuinely wondered how she hadn’t noticed all the security that constantly followed him. How was he only 27 with an entire estate under his name? It really made Charles ponder. Maybe she noticed but was smart enough to not bring it up.

Regardless, he was the proudest person in the room, eyes beaming with glee as she threw her cap up in the air with joy enriched onto her face. With her only being 20, their relationship was the root of all the gossip in town.

It was strange, really. 7 years wasn’t that bad. He knew her better than anyone, and she knew him the most. He never let such thoughts bother him, especially since he was running one of the most discreet underground mafia. Charles knew the risk of getting her involved in his life. He knew that she would forever be tangled in his dirty business, whether she knew it or not. He hated the way that she drew in people with her charm and charisma.

In Charles' world, more attention meant a higher probability of ending up dead. Just thinking about something happening to her made his blood boil. She’d never be harmed. Little did Charles know that pissing off the Russian Mafia came with its drawbacks. The Russians played fast and dirty. They’d attack where it hurts the most. Due to their undercover agent in her university, they knew exactly who she was. Every little detail from the timings she enters and exits the university to the car that comes to pick and drop her.

The Russians were smart, very smart. They knew the best way to hurt Charles was to hurt his girl. They knew kidnapping would not work as she was heavily guarded at all times. So they came up with a public declaration of war. They were going to attack her at her graduation ceremony, in front of everyone, and most importantly, Charles.

This was their way to send a message. Frankly, ever since y/n and Charles started dating, he was ignoring his priorities with the mafia and appointed most of the tasks to Kyviat, who turned out to be a traitor. Some may say Charles’s lack of attention caused him to lose the most important person in his life. Just as they called out her name, the first shots fired. Almost in an instant, Charles whipped his head so fast you could hear a bone crack. He knew this was planned. He prayed and hoped deep down it wasn’t a message for him. He knew Alonso’s daughter also went here and selfishly hoped it was for him.

All his prayers fell on deaf ears when he saw his precious angel falling, almost in slow motion, with her white dress that he loved oh so much turning ever so red with each passing second. He knew he messed up. He had so much love he still needed to show her. The engagement ring in his pocket felt like hot coal, burning him almost taunting him painfully. He had everything planned out, each moment, each step. He never expected her to be ripped out of his arms. He had destroyed homes and families.

He knew he had unpaid karma. And just when he started becoming a better person, he had to pay his karma in full. They say the day she bled out in his arms was the day hell froze all over again. Each of her deep and labored breaths haunted his soul for the rest of his life. He still had days where he could imagine her next to him. If people thought Charles was cruel before the shooting, they would be very wrong.

Seeing the love of his life lying still on a ventilator enraged a different type of devil in him. He hunted each and everyone involved in the shooting like he was hunting animals. He shot, stabbed, burned, bleached, skinned, and mutilated each and everyone. It was borderline psychotic. By day, a doting boyfriend in the ICU. By night, a cold-blooded killer on the loose.

Each morning when he returned, he would utter the same words over and over again, “ça aurait dû être moi, pas toi, ça aurait dû être moi, ma chérie, pas toi. je suis désolé je suis désolé.”

Charles had lost it. More than ever, his reign of terror only ended when she opened her eyes again. He never touched another gun or affiliated with the mafia ever again.

The both of them found a safe haven in the Swiss Alps, only returning to Monaco when everything was over, Charles becoming the most protective person ever known to have lived. His large hand placed on her ever prominent belly. Monaco saw the aftermath of what happens when you mess with Charles Leclercs wife. That was the only incident that ever involved y/n. Charles made sure of it after all she was his and he protected what was his. His overprotective nature plus his power made sure she was safe.

“mi amor, i don’t know where you are right now but i’m just wondering if you know where frederico’s race suit might be?” fernando asked through the voicemail, a hint of panic in his tone as he said, “i told him to get it from the laundry room before we got ready but—“

“pa!” a voice called from the entryway or wherever fernando was as they continued to speak, “i’ve helped tino and tiago put on their shoes and they have their jackets on! ¿podemos irnos ahora?” can we go now? 

fernando replied back to the voice, “and their bags? all good?”

“sì,” the voice replied, “can we go now? you haven’t even braided my hair yet, papa!”

“reyna, i’m talking to your mother,” fernando told the voice, now named reyna, with a slight scolding tone. “can you help your big brother find his race suit? por favor?” 

“ugh- frederico,” reyna stomped off.

“reyna severina alonso, your feet,” fernando called, “stop stomping them or i’ll cut ‘em off.” 

“we’re running late to the race, pa!” reyna argued back. 

“i know we are, that’s why please help your brother find his suit,” fernando told his daughter. the girl had already gone off before another pair of feet began making their way to where fernando was.

“paaaaa,” another voice said, “which helmet should i use?”

fernando sighed deeply. “frederico, amor—“

“sì?” his eldest son, frederico or freddy, asked him with a glint of curiosity in his tone.

“how many heads do you have?” fernando asked, his sarcastic self showing despite speaking to his own son. he couldn’t help it— they were about to run late to freddy’s race. and freddy was here asking him about which helmet to use.

“you gotta pick one, mi corazon— preferably quickly because you’re gonna miss your race,” fernando told freddy as nicely as he could. 

“okay, okay-i’ll do that,” freddy let out a sigh. 

another pair of feet had stomped into the room as reyna’s voice dragged out the name, “freddyyyyyy!”

“rey, what did i say about your feet?” fernando warned his daughter. 

“i’m sorry, papa— but your son is so so silly,” fabrics shifted as freddy gasped. reyna then continued, “that he couldn’t even find his own race suit in his own room— in his own closet.”

fernando sighed in relief. “you are a delightful girl, rey.”

“oh, sweet! gracias, hermana!” freddy said happily before taking the race suit from his sister and running off. 

fernando then called out, “five minutes and we’re leaving, freddy!” 

“sì! i’ll be down as soon as possible!” freddy’s voice echoed down the hallway. 

the father-daughter duo fell into silence as reyna said, “papa, why is it that every time you and freddy are struggling to find something it’s always me and mama who find them?”

fernando sighed, “don’t get too mouthy now, mi vida.”

“mama said it’s because you two always find with your mouth- not with your eyes,” reyna giggled hysterically once fernando began to tickle her sides. “don’t tickle me, pa! mama’s right!”

He didn't care.

You were 3 months pregnant, and your new boyfriend could care less that you're caring another man's child. To him he just brushed it off saying it doesn't matter who the father is it's who raises them.

It made you cry when he told you that he wasn't leaving. And he stayed true to those words, he never left you. Fernando was there for everything.

The morning sickness, the appointments, cravings, he didn't care that you called him one night while he was halfway across the world crying because you couldn't open a jar of pickles. He still smiles fondly at the memory of you texting him an hour later saying his assistant opened the jar for you.

If you could travel, Fernando is bringing you with him. The media claimed him as the father of your ever-growing belly. He couldn't stop smiling at the article. Reads to your baby every night, if he's away traveling you best put that man on speaker and to your stomach.

The team spoils you and the baby, they love having you because Fernando just glows with happiness and shows you off to everyone who will listen. Carries a little picture of your ultrasound with him and kisses it before getting in the car.

He was honored to be the one to feel the first kick when he was praising the baby for being good while he was away. Refused to know the gender of the baby just buying them anything and everything.

Has you move in before the baby is due, doesn't care you haven't been dating for long. The two of you know damn well this is it for you.

Has to race on the day of your due date and about quits right then and there. Threw a huge fit, you had to call and calm him down saying nothing has happened.

2 weeks and you still hadn't given birth. Fernando was annoyed, he wanted his little baby in his arms so he can be the annoying dad showing them off everywhere.

when your water breaks, he's super calm. Yet when he hears that it's a boy and those little cries. He breaks down into your hold thanking you for this family and his son. You laugh saying your welcome. Fernando refuses to let the nurses touch the baby unless needed. You best believe that boy was decked out head to toe in Aston Martin gear when he announces the birth.
