St. James's Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited Battling On Community Interest Company, Merryhue Farmhouse, Callington, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, this afternoon visited National Coastwatch Institution Torbay Station, Daddyhole Plain, Meadfoot, Torquay, and afterwards attended a Reception at Royal Torbay Yacht Club, 12 Beacon Hill, Torquay, and was received by Rear Admiral Christopher Snow (Deputy Lieutenant of Devon).

Dylan & Darcy

A Christmas commission to illustrate two beloved Sharpei dogs Dylan and Darcy who live on the English ‘riviera’ town of Torquay in Devon. Working from three different photos this was a tricky one to compose because of the strong but fantastic light but managed to find the right combination of images. The coastal location is the curiously named Daddyhole Plain!
