I LOVE that the truth is finally being told who the hardest working Royal actually is. I love Anne , do not get me wrong, but the King has been so unsung in the work that he does. And these are only the official numbers for bread & butter engagements. Unlike another household, it’s not often that the work related to the charities he founded ends up in the Court Circular, so those stats still undercount his work but it’s a start. Now the media needs to catch on to his other charities besides The Prince’s Trust and maybe, just maybe, the UK will understand his contributions.
I always have a laugh when Wales stans say they’re going to replace the day to day with thematic work when The King has done both, on his own, his entire life. William about his father:
: "He has amazing personal discipline. So, he has – and it's frustrated me in the past a lot – he has a routine. The only way to fit all this stuff in is things have to be compartmentalised. The man never stops. I mean when we were kids there was bags and bags and bags of work that the office just sent to him. We could barely even get to his desk to say goodnight to him."

Here’s the thing about William & Catherine’s numbers - would everyone else be getting attention if/when W&C did an engagement? Not excusing, just curious.

The problem isn’t that William (& Kate) do them, it’s that it’s all they really do when you look at the numbers.  ----- A thousand times this!!!!
Yup! I counted 12 engagements for Kate from the Court Circular for January 2023. Only 3 did not have any kind of association with The Royal Foundation. 75% of Kate’s engagements were foundation-related.
I don’t expect most of the spring or summer to be much better, but we’ll see.
