Comic idea for Spy
Spy never wanted to leave Scout and his mom. He was there for his early and seemed content there. He probably genuinely considered settling down. So maybe he left because a mission got WAY to close to home.
Image Spy coming back from a mission only to find the door wide open. He rushes inside just in time to stop kidnappers/murders from hurting Scout and his mom. And when the dust settles and the intruders are dead Spy looks at his lover and child and realizes that they will never be safe with him around. If he had been even a second later they would have been gone. So, he cleans up everything and leaves. No note. No way to contact him. Just gone like the wind. He can only hope that they'll be okay without him.
I'm hoping to make a comic about this at some point but I have a mountain of projects on hand.
