Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Two phrases which are dear to the Compassionate One and are light on the tongue but heavy in the scale are: “How perfect Allah is and I praise Him; and How perfect Allah is the Greatest.” Agreed upon. (Bulugh al-Maram, Book 16, Hadith 1568)   سُبْحَانَ اَللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ , سُبْحَانَ اَللَّهِ اَلْعَظِيمِ Subhan’Allahi wa bihmadihi, Subhan’Allahil Azeem. A simple Dhikr to make that could enhance your blessings massively. Add it to your daily Adhkar today. https://www.instagram.com/p/CkFb7V_sD3TLzm0n-c190YZ8-ngZ0IoihY3Azk0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

You've helped us so much throughout ramadan ukhti, help us akhawaat during this last stretch. During haidh all routine goes out of the window, any discipline inculcated dissipates and much time wasted. Please make a post with a schedule of how to spend the day to maximise benefit, even without being able to pray. I would like to see an example of a timetable for how to spend a day, because I'm terrible at organising myself. If you could do this for me it will mean a lot, barakallahu feeki 💐💐💐
Indeed it all is from Allāh so Alhamdulillāh habibtī.🌸
Tbh the best thing is to keep doing what you’ve done before haidh. Like even if you can’t pray, do everything else you’ve done so far. Cuz only you yourself know your daily routine, like when do you wake up, do you stay up after isha etc. Depending if you’re working throughout the day or if you’re free. It all has an impact on how much you can do throughout the day & night. Everyone’s days are different so it’s hard for me to put a schedule that can fit you only because it maybe fits me. Also we all are focusing on different things. Like maybe my aim is to finish the qur’ān 3 times where’s yours is to memorize as much as you can etc.
I know the routine usually goes all blaah when your on your period but tbh, if you still keep doing everything that you’ve done so far, except prayer, the routine can def last. Like you can still do adhkar when you wake up, still read the Qur’ān, make du’ā etc. You can keep the timing like you had before. I think the only downside is that we become a little bit “lazy” cuz we know we can eat and also “enjoy” a little bit. But there’s nothing wrong with that tbh. Maybe take some time and ponder upon what you wanna focus on?
Buuuut an example could be:
Morning adhkar (pick a few so you can do it constantly)
Istighfar 100 x, Tahleel ( la ilaha illa Allāh) Takbeer ( Allahu Akbar) tahmeed (Alhamdulillāh) & tasbeeh (Subhan’Allāh) 100x
Eat your breakfast (if you want to)
Pray dhuhr
Read Qu’ān (up to you how much and how many hours you want to do it) you can read it on your laptop
Make some coffee/tea & Pick an Islamic book to read that you’ve wanted to but didn’t have time (if you have time to read it now) Or pick a surah and read the tafsir, gain more knowledge and understanding
Eat some proper food or whatever your craving for.
Maybe take a walk and some fresh air?
Pray Asr
Evening adhkar
Istighfar 100 x, Tahleel ( la ilaha illa Allāh) Takbeer ( Allahu Akbar) tahmeed (Alhamdulillāh) & tasbeeh (Subhan’Allāh) 100x + du’ā
Nap time (I usually take a nap time after asr but not everyone does it)
Make some coffee/tea + Listen to some reminders
Continue reading/ memorize qur’ān
Deed of the day (maybe have an amount that you give in charity everyday/night)
Du’ā
Iftar - Maghreb (eat together with your family even if you can’t fast)
When everyone is praying taraweeh, you can either prepare for them sweets and coffee/tea if they didn’t have it yet, or do istighfar and make du’ā. It’s up to you whatever you want to do here really.
Idk if you’re sleeping throughout the night but if you’re a night owl, then make a routine on the night too.
Read/memorize the Qur’ān, learn some new stuff, maybe read about the sahaba or the prophet sallalahu alayhi wa sallam, depending on what you’re interested in.
Make lots and lots of du’ā. Pick out 5-6 things more or less so you can constantly keep them in your ad’iyyāh.
It’s up to you how you want to spend your night tbh, but fill out the emptiness when everyone is praying taraweeh/qiyaam. You can do something else that is beneficial for you. And you can still eat and drink whatever you’re craving for really.
But don’t look at movies, if you’re want to watch something then replace it with either reminders or listen to the qur’ān.
Also this was just an example, you can change it and put other things that fit more into your routine. You can take walks or do grocery shopping if you need to. I didn’t add it cuz like I said I don’t know how your day “looks” like but you can change/add the things on the schedule. Cuz each day looks different, so plan after your day. You know how many responsibilities and what you have to do that day so plan after it, it makes it easier, cuz tbh you won’t be able to do the same amount everyday depending on how you spend it and what you have to do.
I hope this helps even a little bit in sha Allāh. Wa feekī habibtī.
& If anyone else has some better tips, then feel free to share.

Assalamualaikum. Please share with us some tips for preparing for ramadhan. Barakallahu feeki.
Wa ‘alaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
1. Set Goals
Consider where you’re lacking in your worship and set a goal to focus on adding that to your routine. This could be literally anything - making more dua, engaging in adhakar, fixing your salat, improving your character, etc.
It’s important not to overburden yourself though. Chances are we’re lacking in multiple areas of worship, but only pick maybe 2 areas, add if you feel like you can do so. Quality over quantity! Focusing on quantity over quality also gives risk to you losing the habit, whereas focusing on quality helps you keep up with your habits after ramadan.
Also set goals for what you already do practice and special things you do for the sake of the month such as how much you want to memorize in the Quran, how much Quran you want to read in the month, etc.
Also consider your disliked habits and make resolution to work on getting rid of them. This can be - anger, wasting time, using bad language, focusing too much on materialistic things, and so on.
2. Prepare Materials
Prepare materials for your goals in ramadan. For example if your daily goals are to engage in adhkar, recite 1 juz, and get in the habit of making an extensive dua daily - maybe make a daily book where you have all the adhkar you want to engage in, a timeline of what your daily progress of the Quran should be, and bullet points of things you want to include in your duas. This will help you stay on track and will help you resort to only one place for your daily goals. ^-^
It’s also wise to make a timeline of your day:
10 - 11-30 AM : Quran reciting
11:30 - 12:30 PM: Spend time with family
12:00 - 1:00 PM: Adhakar
1:00 - 1:45 PM: Break
1:45 PM - 2:30 PM: Study Seerah
etc.
^^ It’s also important to balance between worship and other obligations (as you can see I did above), spread your worship throughout the day rather than doing all the worship at once continuously and then doing all the other obligations, this can cause you to be tired and demotivate you.
3. Make some Habits before Ramadan
Making habits before Ramadan is good so that in Ramadan you can strengthen those habits. Personally, I would say to make these habits of your character - not getting angry easily, making people feel comfortable, speaking good words, having a good tone, being generous, etc. Such habits I think are generally harder to establish, so start now and make Ramadan the strengthener of them!
4. Educate yourself on Ramadan
Read up on the importance of Ramadan, why is it a holy month, what’s the point of it, etc. This will help you appreciate Ramadan more and will motivate you to do your best.
5. Clear up your Time
Before Ramadan starts, try clearing up duties that may consume your time. Such as if you’re taking a self paced course, try to finish it before Ramadan so that you have more time for worship in Ramadan.
6. Consider your Money
Figure out how much charity you can give in the month of Ramadan by going through your wealth and set a daily giving amount (if you are able to). If you can’t give charity due to financial strains, then work out your balance to see if you can give a one-time charity if you can do so after paying Zakat (if you are obligated to give Zakaat). Also make a list of all the things that you need to consider for giving Zakaat such as jewelry, debts, etc. Calculate the things that you don’t expect to change such as the amount of gold you have so that you have that ready before hand and just need to calculate what is constantly changing the day you give Zakaat.
7. Engage in Istighfar
Engage in Istighfar to purify yourself before Ramadan, In sha Allah Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala will give you more ability to do more in Ramadan and He will allow you to taste Ramadan to be even sweeter. ^.^
8. Plan Meals and Check your Body
Plan what your suhoor and iftar will be for the month of Ramadan. Be sure to make them healthy and light. Please avoid eating too many pakoray and samosay, eat more chole and fruit chat.
It would also be good to get a blood test to see if you have any nutritional deficiencies so that you can get your deficiencies to normal (or at least better) before Ramadan as deficiencies causes brain fog, tiredness, insomnia, etc.
9. Check your Intentions
Before doing anything and everything we should check our intentions, whether it be something as small as posting a photo, or something as big as giving charity. Is your intention pure? Check your intentions for Ramadan also, why are you participating?
10. Contacts
Make a list of people you wish to be more in touch with and make sure you contact them. If you’re able to contact them before Ramadan, make sure you contact them again during Ramadan so that you establish strong ties with them. Add those you even lost touch with in your list. Also focus on relationships you want to make stronger that you already have good contact with, this could be your parents, siblings, friends, etc. Forgive those who have wronged you and contact them too. Don’t keep grudges. Keeping good relations with people is part of faith 😌

*SOME EASY DAILY ADHKAR (remembrance of Allah) ✨*
*1. Qur'an*
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever reads a letter of the Book of Allaah will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a tenfold reward. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is a letter, rather alif is a letter, laam is a letter and meem is a letter."
📚: Sunan Tirmidhi 2910 | Hasan
*2. Alhamdulillah, Subhan Allah, La ilaha illal lah, Allahu Akbar*
The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a tree with dry leaves, so he struck it with his staff, making the leaves fall. Then he said: “Indeed, Alhamdulillah (all praise is due to Allah), Subhan Allah (glory to Allah), La ilaha illal lah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest) cause the sins to fall from the worshipper, just as the leaves of this tree fall."
📚: Tirmidhi 3533 | Hasan
*3. Subhan Allah — 100 times*
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: Recite Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) for by reciting them 1000 good deeds will be written for you and 1000 sins will be wiped away."
📚: Sahih Muslim 2698
*4. Subhan Allahi wa Bihamdihi — 100 times*
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea."
📚: Sahih Bukhari 6405
*5. Subhan Allahi wa Bihamdihi, Subhan Allahi-l azeem*
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "(The following are) two words (sentences or utterances) that are very easy for the tongue to say, and very heavy in the balance (of reward), and most beloved to the Gracious Almighty (Allah)."
📚: Sahih Muslim 6682
*6. Astagfirullaha wa aatubu ilayhi — 100 times*
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him one hundred times each day."
📚: Ibn Majah 3815 | Hasan
*7. Rabbighfirli wa tub alayya innaka antat tawwabur rahim — 100 times*
Ibn Umar (رضى الله عنه) said: "We used to count that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said one hundred times in a gathering: "O Allah forgive me and accept my repentance, for You are the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful."
📚: Ibn Majah 3814 | Sahih
*8. La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah*
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said to me: "Shall I not tell you of a treasure which is one of the treasures of Paradise?" He (ﷺ) said: "There is no power and no strength except with Allah)."
📚: Ibn Majah 3825 | Sahih
*9. Sall Allahu alayhi was sallam* (may peace be upon him), *Allahumma Salli wa Sallam alaa Nabiyyinaa Muhammad* (May peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad) *— recommended easy darood, read full one too*
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold and will erase from him ten misdeeds and raise him ten degrees in status."
📚: Sunan An Nasaai 1297
*10. Subhan Allah, La ilaha illa lah, Alhamdulillah*
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "What you mention of glory of Allah are Subhan-Allah, La ilaha illal lah, Alhamdulillah
– revolves around the Throne, buzzing like bees, reminding of the one who said it. Wouldn't any one of you like to have, or continue to have, something that reminds of him (in the presence of Allah)?"
📚: Ibn Majah 3809 | Hasan
*11. La ilaha illa lah, Alhamdulillah*
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The best of remembrance (dhikr) is La ilaha illallah (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and the best of supplication (duaa) is Alhamdullilah (praise be to Allah)."
📚: Ibn Majah 3800 | Hasan
*12. Laa 'ilaaha 'illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeer — either 100 times or 10 times or 1 time*
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says – 'None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without any partner, to Him belong all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent.' – one hundred times will get the same reward as given for freeing ten slaves; and one hundred good deeds will be written in his accounts, and one hundred sins will be deducted from his accounts, and it (his saying) will be a shield for him from Satan on that day till night, and nobody will be able to do a better deed except the one who does more than he."
📚: Sahih Bukhari 6403
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "He who uttered (above dhikr) ten times, he is like one who freed four slaves from the progeny of Ismail."
📚: Sahih Muslim 2693
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever says (above dhikr) in the morning will have a reward equivalent to that for setting free a slave from among the descendants of Isma'il. He will have ten good deeds recorded for him, ten evil deeds deducted from him, he will be advanced ten degrees, and will be guarded from the satan till the evening. If he says them in the evening, he will have a similar recompense till the morning."
📚: Sunan Abu Dawud 5077

Qur'an 2:177
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.
