Oh yes! I actually talked about their wedding a few times but there is never too many times XD

Isshiki tried so hard to convince Nene to have their wedding at the dorm... she said no lol

Their wedding is a traditional Japanese one, which tends to be really small and doesn’t really need bridesmaids and groomsmen, but the sentiment is nice

Soma is Isshiki’s best man. Shun and Marui are also groomsmen

Erina was one of Nene’s bridesmaids. Her and Megumi also help to embroider some of Nene’s shiromuku in blue (per request by Rindou)

Yuki and Ryoko are dressed in their best kimonos and wait at the shrine for the bride and groom to arrive

They both are floored to see their senpai’s in beautiful traditional dress (or maybe they were just shocked to see Isshiki in clothes lol)

Daigo and Koji (who were initially invited as guests) take the liberty of becoming best man bodyguards and do an amazing job at keeping the pesky culinary press away

Fumio’s words of how beautiful Nene is were just as meaningful as if it came from Isshiki’s own mother. She feels good knowing she has approval from his PSD fam

Megumi totally cries during the vows and the san-san-kudo

The after reception is basically Japanese food heaven as both the Isshiki and Kinokuni family had catered it and the guests can’t help but lose their mind during the meals

Soma and Rindou go up to make their speech, to which Soma takes credit for getting them together during his RdC match, to which Rindou corrects that if anything it was Tsukasa *cue the both of them trying to remember when they stopped being enemies and started dating*

Ryoko brings her best bottles of sake from her brewery and the party livens up

Marui and Yuki are stealing the dance floor, Megumi is helping with the wedding photos, and Erina may be lowkey convinced that she might want a traditional Japanese wedding

• Megumi is watching it but she grips pillows or Soma’s hands when the movies gets even more intense. Soma laughs about it. He loves it.

• Shun’s expression doesn’t change. It stays. Yuki is FEELING HER HEART RAISE. They’re literally opposites during the whole thing.

• Ryoko’s eyes widen a couple of time but she’s watching it silently. Satoshi is WATCHING IT WITH AN UWU FUCKING FACE.

• DAIGO AND SHOJI KEEP TELLING THEIR DORM MATES THEY CAN DO WHAT THE MOVIE DOES. An attempt was made. It failed.

• Next up... HORROR MOVIE! 

• Almost the same thing happens, but iMAGINE DAIGO AND SHOJI HUGGING EACH OTHER WHILE THEY WATCH IT.

• Ryoko is holding Shun’s hand. Shun does not mind this. Megumi jumps up sometimes and Soma calms her down. Zenji and Yuki’s hearts are dying. SATOSHI IS STILL DOING UWU.

• Once that’s done, it’s one of those sappy romance movies.

• Zenji brings out FACTS and points out it’s not that realistic. Yuki covers his mouth playfully. She is enjoying the movie.

• YUKI BRINGS IN MORE SNACKS BEFORE IT STARTS. SHE IS READY. 

• Megumi actually enjoys it a lot!! She feels her heart warm-up! Ryoko enjoys the cute romantic scenes.

• SOMA COMPARES IT WITH SHOUJO MANGA TIOEUIEEOWTI “why are they not sparkling??”

• Shun still doesn’t react. He notices everyone’s else’s reactions though. DAIGO AND SHOJI ARGUE WHO’S THE MOST FITTING ONE FOR THE PERFECT MALE LOVER ROLE IM FUCKING CRYING.

• Satoshi laughs about youth. AGAIN.

• THIS ENDS WITH DISNEY MOVIES AND EVERYONE SINGS AT LEAST ONCE. WHETHER THEY WANT TO OR NOT. SATOSHI BROUGHT IN A MIC. 

• Fumio actually watches Disney with them. She sees they’re all kids in heart.

Polar Star Dorm "The Odd Balls Den"

Polar Star Dorm is the Totsuki's only in Campus dormitory. Called by the name of the "Odd Balls Den" Polar Star Dorm is known for the unique inmates lived there. Most of the inmates are considered as Weird because of their different life styles in the dorm & weird style of cooking techniques & experiments. Even Soma who himself like a weird due to his weird creative dishes which he makes others taste it & panic by the disgust, feels the Dorm Scary & Weird. He thought of it because of the ghostly appearance of the dormitory & the disturbing environment of inside. But later he easily get fitted in the environment. About the Dorm. Polar Star Dorm is run by the care taker Daimido Fumio the self proclaimned "Madonna of Polar Star Dorm". She is herself a very good cook & all the inmates really love her dishes. She doesn't let anybody stay in the dorm easily. She takes a tough test from the students to let them stay. Students who wants to stay in the dorm has to create a dish with their variety of choices of the ingredients. This dish must please Fumio. Most of the inmates aren't able to pass the task easily but they can try as many times. Tadokoro Megumi took 3 months pass the task. But Soma able to pass the test on his first attempt by only using the leftover ingredients, which move the heart of Fumio San. He made "Improvised Mackerel Burger Meal". Polar Star Dorm has 50 rooms but due to famous for its weirdness & hard standard of Fumio san's Task only few inmates live there. Due to the "Golden Age of Polar Star Dorm" member Joichiro, Dojima Gin the dorm able to gather variety of fields & lands for their various use by the dorm members. It makes the dorm Financially fulffilled & suuficient to stay on their own. It also helps the new dorm members to gather various vegetables, ingredients & places to do their experiments. Current Inmates of the Dorm (92nd generation) Their are total 9 Student living in the dorm. And everybody of them are unique in their own ways of cooking & living. They all love to party, create new dishes and they are always ready to help each other any time. Yukihira Soma Soma is the newest inmate of the dorm. He is hard worker, ambitious & never give up on any challenge. His claim to take the First Seat for himself make him the most hated person in the whole School. He is not specific to any kind of cuisine but can make a dish by mixing different kind of Cuisine from around the World. He also taste his weird dishes on the inmates especially on Megumi. Isshiki Satoshi The 2nd year student & the 7th Seat of Elite 10 member, Isshiki Senpai is the senior most student in the dorm. He like everybody & want to have party all the time. He cares for everyone as a family member. He is nice & kind. He likes to work on the fields & grow his special vegetables using the farm behind the dorm. He do wear his "Naked Apron" attire at the time party make others feel uneasy. Megumi Tadokoro The shy, sweet & full of fear Megumi is like an angel who come to shower motherly love over the other. She is good in fish dishes & her cuisine style is Hospitality. Other dormmates consider seeing her as a feel of warmth. Sakaki Ryoko The beautiful, gentle & firm personality, Ryoko is talented in Koji or Fermentation thing. She uses the Fermentation area for her experiments & makes Koji & Fermented Rice Juice, which also used by the inmates for their party. Yoshino Yuki The happy, funny Yuki is the most cheerful person of the dorm. Her cuisine style is "Wild Game" & she also breed variety of animals & birds to create a unique breed. She uses the dorm's barn to keep her animals. Ibusaki Shun Ibusaki uses area of the dorm & any empty room for his smoking purpose. The Smoke the variety of wood to make his dishes. He has a serious personality who doesn't speak without any reason. Zenji Marui Marui is the most intelligent person in the dorm & he likes to study about the cusines & dishes. He uses his knowledge to create dishes. He room in the dorm is the biggest & full of books. Marui keeps his room very clean. But all the members of the dorm use his room for the party making him feel uneasy but he himself indulge in the party easily. Aoki Daigo Daigo has a tough & well built body looks like a fighter but he is a gentle person but he often fights with Shoji for their dish competition. He is able to cook variety of vegetable dishes. Sato Shoji Shoji is also like Daigo in personality & also a good person. Though his cooking style is not clear. He made fried shrimps for the snacks. He fights with Daigo but he also sticks with him & they also work great together. Nakiri Erina Well Erina is actually not an inmate of the dorm. She was left in the dorm by her cousin Nakri Alice after the rise of Central in Totsuki & knowing that her father is again start his training on Erina which make her past so harsh. After knowing the condition of Erina, all the inmates of Dorm feel sorry for her & ready to do anything for her & her safety. Erina really came to like all the inmates, after knowing them & she actually get mellowed in her behaviour. All the inmates make her to taste their dishes but they keep experimenting to improve the dish without following Erina instruction, which Erina consider weird but later understand them after Soma let her taste his Tempura Egg Bowl. Golden Age of Polar Star Dorm Its the period which Fumio San talks most. In the period, Saiba Joichiro, Dojima Gin, Nakamura Azami were the inmates. They all bring the dorm in the glory and let the dorm win lands & fields making it independent as a Country. Joichiro is named as "The Asura" & 2nd seat of Elite Ten Member, very famous in the dorm & school along with Dojima Gin the 1st seat of Elite 10 member. Nakamura Azami is the junior of them. The trio is famous in the dorm for their daily competition for making new & creative dishes. Joichiro mostly wins the match in the three. Polar Star Dorm & its Value in Totsuki The dorm is famous mostly due to the reason of its freedom the student gets in the dorm. They can compete with each other, help each other & work with each other. They all live in the Totsuki's boundary but they are not bind by the rules of the Totsuki in the dorm. Soma after knowing the dorm & the students living their & able to do lots of experiments for his dishes. This makes him able to reach the final of the Autumn Selection Festival in which he also able to get help of the members for creating new dish. After the rise of Central under the command of Nakiri Azami, all the clubs & labs are destroyed , so that they won't stand against Central administration in future. Polar Star Dorm also faced the same situation. The Ninth Seat Eizan Etsuya comes to destroy the dorm with an included interest of destroying Soma along with it. All the dorm members felt really said by this situation. It really moved Soma internally to fight against the Central & Eizan by challenging him for Shokugeki. Soma able to defeat Eizan, even though all the judges are bought by Eizan but they all surrendered to Soma's dish. Thus Soma able to save the Dorm. In the meantime, all the dormmates fought with Eizan goons to save the dorm. They all welcomed Soma with full of happy heart, when Soma said "I'm Home". Final Conclusion Polar Star dorm & its members are truly awesome & how they live & work each other is very fascinating. I hope to see more of them living together. I really hope so. I really like the dub for the show. IMO its definitely one of Sentai's better titles. The adaptive writer(s) have done a great job handling the humor and word play barrier between Japanese and English. I even have a soft spot for when Joichiro calls Fumio-san "Ma". I also don't have much of a problem with Erina in the dub, though it took some adjustment.

Shenanigans

It was a simple invitation to get to know the Polar Star Dorm members. That was all it was. He never expected to see his fellow Elite 10 member butt-naked in an apron as the others created utter chaos.

No one had seen- or heard- Eishi enter the dormitory. All but Erina, who was always constantly avoiding getting involved in the destruction of peace.

“Oh, Eishi-senpai. Nice to see you here.” she said as she coughed and tried to block his view of what was going on in the background.

“Erina…you haven’t gone back home?” Indeed, it had been some time since the Rebel Team had beaten Central and brought back the old Totsuki. One would think that Erina Nakiri would quickly pack up her things and move back into her mansion but that wasn’t the cause at all.

“No-”

“Eishi!!! You’re here!!” Isshiki’s voice rang around the dormitory as he ran up to his comrade and embraced him. It was almost like the embodiment of uncomfortable was embracing him. Eishi would have to wash his eyes with bleach later. To see such sights was utterly taking its toll on the pure, innocent first seat.

But to the other members (with the exception of Erina), the one thing on their minds is that the one and only Eishi Tsukasa was in their residency. Marui felt his heart burst of horror as Yuki and Ryoko tried to revive him. The 1st seat had seen all of the things they’ve been doing the past five minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. He’d have to redeem himself later.

Meanwhile, Shoji and Daigo were already trying to get Eishi to taste their dishes, much like they had when Erina first arrived. Fumio was going on and on about how the Polar Star Dorms always attracted the best of Totsuki and here was the proof. Poor little Megumi had passed out from shock and horror. Ibusaki was nowhere to be seen.

“We’re so gla-”

“Oi, Eishi! I challenge you to a shokugeki for the first sea-”

“Soma, cut it out! We just won a damn tournament, take a break!”

I’ll try not to add ships because I have no idea what your ship preferences are so

Kuga arrived with a movie rated for the amount of gore in it

Said that many people found it interesting and that it gave everyone chills and the urge to vomit.

Megumi and Ryoko do not find this amusing.

Erina has never seen a horror movie with friends

She’s actually never finished horror movies

Yuki is ready to blast away she does not want to watch this

Soma is just…he just does not care

Erina had never been THIS sick

She just lay in her dorm room as she stared at the ceiling and let quiet tears stream down her face

Shoji and Daigo would try to make her laugh

When she did, she’d wince at how bad her head hurt, so they left her to sleep

Ibusaki and Ryoko would just change towels and ask her how she’s feeling

Ryoko was hesitant to leave her but Ibusaki convinced her saying Erina needed rest

Yuki dragged Marui with her

They tried to have small talk with her, lighten up her mood

She’d doze off sometimes and Marui had to drag Yuki out so Erina could sleep

Isshiki would visit her like a normal person instead of traveling through the ceilings

He was quite brotherly and would ask her how she’s feeling and pat her on the head gently

Megumi worried 24/7, the poor girl

She brought Erina lots of teas and soups

BASICALLY MOTHERED HER

Erina was grateful though

Erina felt quite disappointed Soma didn’t visit her though

TILL HE DID

He’d try to get her to laugh and stuff and when she would slowly doze off he decided he’d let her be

Erina, though, grabbed his hand and asked him to stay with her for a little while longer

Oh boy. 

Soma:

He is just…confused. You don’t see Takumi like that everyday unless he’s shouting at Soma.

He starts freaking out when Takumi starts to angrily cry.

Decides to ask about what happened later, leaving the Italian chef to cool down a bit.

Megumi:

She gets nervous and worried at the sight.

She’s the only one Takumi was able to talk about the situation right after he burst in.

Starts giving him advice on how to fix things up with Isami because it hurts her to see them both like this.

Isshiki:

He’s outside gardening when he sees Takumi burst into the dormitory.

He talks to Takumi soon after Megumi is done giving him advice. This is where Takumi bursts into tears.

Isshiki is just being an older brother, trying to support the boy in this frustrating times.

Ryoko:

She scolds him at first, like a mother to her son, for being so reckless.

She then sighs before giving him some teas to help him relax.

Doesn’t question him at all, lets him choose when to talk.

Yuki:

She starts complaining about the way he bursts in at first.

She realizes he’s angry right after and feels awkward.

Stays away for a bit, like Soma, to allow him to cool down.

Ibusaki:

Gets a little angry as well for the sudden burst.

But knows that it’s common for siblings to fight, so he understands the anger.

Doesn’t bother the Italian for a while.

Marui:

The boy gets scared at the sound of the doors bursting open.

Hears some loud talking and sighs.

Realizes the situation and has absolutely no idea how to handle it.

Shoji + Daigo:

The two are bickering when they get hit by the doors by accident.

Are ready to pick a fight before they realize it’s Takumi.

Back off for a while and let Takumi calm down before approaching him about getting hit with the doors.

Fumio:

Doesn’t really react aside from getting irritated at first.

She knows how siblings are so she doesn’t scold Takumi at first.

She scolds him after he’s calm down for almost giving her a heart attack when he bursts in.

Bonus

Erina:

Flinches at the sudden burst.

Has never really helped a friend in these situations, but understands because she’s bickered with Alice before.

Worries for both Takumi and Isami, but doesn’t express it.

Yeeees! I actually have an idea of how it went.

About Time

Marui played with his fingers as both he and Yuki stood before all of the Polar Star Dorm members. “Everyone, we have an announcement!” Yuki shouted, being her usual cheery self.

“Make it quick. I want to go to bed.” Ibusaki said. Yuki shot a quick glare at him. She cleared her throat and pulled Marui beside her, who was still playing with his fingers.

“Me and Marui-”

“It’s Marui and I-”

“Don’t interrupt me! Anyways, Marui and I, have recently gotten into a relationship!” the orange-haired girl revealed. Marui felt his breath get stuck in his chest. The room was quiet for a few seconds, the only sound coming from the crickets outside.

“That’s it?” Once again, Yuki shot a quick glare at Ibusaki. He was yet again unfazed. 

Erina chuckled quietly as Ryoko smiled. “It took you both quite awhile.” she said as Ryoko nodded in agreement with her. Yuki gasped and felt her face heat up.

“What do you mean it took us a while!”
