The Dakota Crescent used to be overrun by cats. I wonder what happened to them? Were they resettled? Did they move away when the people did? . . The other day, after early dinner at the Old Airport Road Hawker Center, I decided to stroll around the deserted Dakota Crescent or Old Kallang Airport Estate. Apart from mozzies, it was actually a pleasant stroll with loads of huge old leafy trees to give me shade from the hot sun. Finally bought my copy of "On the Yellow Top", a sticker book that pays homage to the iconic yellow and black taxis as well as the estates of Dakota and Katong. I have imagined the book as a sort of journal or passport to scribble on with stickers of places you have been to, inspired by the stamps in Japan and passports. . Special thanks to @oicsingapore and @supermamasg for the opportunity and patience. Do check out the sticker books by @illobyanngee , @kaiyeetay , @likefireatsea and @yell0w too . Supermama is one of the exhibitors at the upcoming exhibition at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre next week which was designed by DP Architects.
