Dalvin Cook injury-Latest on RB for the Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings will not have running back Dalvin Cook until the end of the game, regardless of being down 10 focuses in the final quarter of an early-season NFC North challenge. Needs

As we go deeper into the off-season and closer to the draft there are plenty of wholes the dolphins can continue to fill to strengthen their roster. The popular way now at days is through the draft but there are definitely still some players we can acquire via trade or signing. As of right now, I'd say the biggest need the Dolphins have is still at Linebacker but other positions of need include Running Back, Tight End, Offensive Line, and Safety.

When it comes to the Draft there are a couple names I have circled that are possible for the dolphins to get with their first pick in the second round. Being ignorant neglecting our defense, I would love to see the dolphins draft either a TE or RB with their second round pick. One guy I love from this draft is Goergia's Darnell Washington, he is 6'7 and 270 pounds. Washington showed out in his combine around a month ago showing his sure hands, blocking power and all the physicals you love from the position. In Mike McDaniels system I can see him flourishing in the pass and running attack. Another name from the draft that I like for the dolphins is Texas' Bijan Robinson. Although he may be too good to fall to the late second round, he is the complete back. He was a gamer in college and his physicals say he will continue that dominance in the NFL. He is 6'0 and 220 pounds, if you look at the recent Runningback that have come in with those physicals, Jonathan Taylor, Damien Pierce, and Reshaad Penny they all weigh above 215.

If we are unable to draft Robinson, I would love to see the dolphins trade for star Running Back Dalvin Cook. With Cook's combination of pass catching and speed he would be Mostert on steroids. The only downside of adding such a premium talent would be the haul the dolphins would have to give plus the salary cap after a new contract. Chris Grier has proven in the past that he can get the talent as cheap as possible so we will see what he can do and how the rest of the off-season plays out either way already the dolphins should be in prime position to really make a push in the playoffs and beyond.
