DAN HENG can't hide the way his eye twitches, how tightly he grips onto his spear or the way he'd mutter things under his breath. He despises it when he's jealous, but he hates it more when he sees the reason for doing so.

He knows he's.. not exactly like all your previous partners, it stemmed an insecurity in him. He wasn't all too funny, and knew he couldn't make you laugh with a corny joke.

So the way Sampo keeps making you laugh, making you smile, it was sparking a jealous flame in his heart. But more than anything, it saddened him that he couldn't make you laugh like that.

God, your smile was so pretty.

After a while, he interlocks his fingers with yours and mutters a small 'Can we go?' to you. You immediately notice his saddened tone, and thank Sampo for his time before walking home with your boyfriend.

"Dan Heng?" You say softly, noticing his rather saddened mood. He lets out a small hum to acknowledge your call for him, and you sigh. "Are you upset?"

He nods his head.

"Is it.. because of Sampo?"

He hesitates, but that alone gives you an answer.

Dan Heng takes a deep breath, before looking at you, his eyes filled with honesty. "I was.. jealous. I know I can't make you laugh the way he does, and it frustrates me. I want to be a man who makes you smile everyday but-"

Amidst his rant, he sees how your gaze softened at his words. This entire time, he was insecure? He hid it well, so well, at the very least from you. "I'm sorry, this is stupid-"

"N-no! It's not, I should be apologizing if anything! I failed to realize these things.. I'm sorry, my love. Sampo.. he makes me laugh, but you make my heart flutter. You make me feel things no one else can, okay? I'm yours, as you are mine."

He smiles at you, he's just happy he communicated his feelings, and you understood. "I'll be sure to try and tell you how I feel next time, okay? As long as you promise you'll stop hanging out with him. I was honestly afraid I was gonna have to get rid of him."

You blinked a few times, but he sighs. "I'm kiddinngg.."

JING YUAN knows he's far too good of a man, therefore doesn't get jealous.

He's yet to be disproven in the first part, but his golden eyes are filled with annoyance as the stares of a certain enemy of his lingers far too long on you.

You were filling in for Yanqing, he was absent for the day (something about falling into an ice cold river and getting sick or something...) and so someone needed to be there as the General would be meeting Blade.

And Jing Yuan couldn't ignore how Blade's eyes never left your form while he spoke, hanging your head down low and so you wouldn't notice. That made him greatly annoyed, almost unable to focus, but he had a mission at hand. And so he forced his jealousy to subside.

Needless to say, the small marks on your neck was embarassing to have seen in public. (And the small bird constantly pecking at Blade's hair was definitely also not Jing Yuans doing.)

GEPARD is so understanding, he evaluates every situation with logical thinking, as expected as a leader.

So it wasn't hard to figure out the intentions of the 'friend' that was speaking to you, how their voice was almost sweeter, and the way they clinged onto your arm was signalling red flags.

Gepard wouldn't have minded this, it could've easily been friendly gestures, but Serval is one of your closest friends and you were within a friendgroup. And she knows that person has a crush on you, and it was painfully obvious.

So naturally, he swiftly and surpisingly gently pulls you from the waist out of their grasp especially with how firm his grip around you was. He gives them a not so friendly glare, and plants a soft kiss to your lips. "My partner." He states, pulling you close as you're left to be stunned with the sudden posessiveness of your partner. "Mine."

Blade simply stares down at the person even attempting to approach you with clearly bad intentions. And if they dare to try to push their luck, Blade comes home with blood on his hands.

"What did you do??" You'd ask, you already knew the answer after already learning what Blade was truly like. "What was necessary." He replied, a kiss on your cheek as he walks in through the door to wash his hands.

“I’m busy as general y’know.” he tells you before you shoot back at him “If you were so busy, you wouldn’t have bothered to hold my hand or anything, so you're not as busy as you say”.

He sighs before answering, “You know me so well, darling,” before kissing your hand. He smiles at you after that before continuing with his work, and you smile back happily before going back to whatever you were doing before. You both share a comfortable silence.

"Is there something wrong?" you ask cautiously, leaning forward a bit.

He just creases the lines on your palms. "I want to read your future," he responds, which makes you look at him funny; he must be messing with you now! "Read my future by looking at my palm. We both know that is not true." You smile at him and chuckle at his answer, "Wait a little." He says, focusing on a particular line on your right hand, his eyebrows furrowing, "Put your hands in the air."

Then he looks up from your palm towards your face before wrapping his hand around yours.

Uh, was this his around-about way to just hold your hand?

"If you wanted to hold hands, you could have just asked!" You beamed with happiness. "I don't know what you're talking about," he denied, his hand tightening around yours as if trying to pull it closer.

His cheeks were tinted pink with a slight blush that covered them. "Are you sure, you seem a little red?" you tease him; he shakes his head in denial, but his lips are twitching upward slightly. "It was a trick, and you didn't think hard enough and fell into my trap." He quickly recovers from before, a sly smirk pulling on his lips.

You giggle at his words, "What a pity; I'm such an airhead that fell for your tricks again." You reply back, going along with him whatever he wants.

short, abrupt kisses that rarely ever come by goes as quickly as it came. you'd assume that he's doing it on purpose, giving you the kiss that you've been waiting for all day. it shouldn't even be considered a kiss at all from how fleeting his apparent 'peck' is.

in short it's torture.

keyword: assume. cause as convinced as you are that this is just some form of twisted amusement dan heng gains, that's exactly the problem that it entails. as a person wholly, he's so serious to the point you doubt there's nothing that would entertain him besides books.

you learn he isn't much of a fan of those really long kisses, once you both bore witness to a couple eating each other's face in broad daylight and you spotted his weekly shift of expression, a quirk of few centimeters. in this case, a grimace and he looks away.

he, does not really give kisses a lot. as upset as you are, you do agree that when he does give you a kiss, albeit short. it makes it all the more.. amazing? such a mediocre word wouldn't be able to describe it.

basically when you're both left trying to fit in his small cushion (he could've atleast gotten a bed in all this space.) you also learn that he's a really private man.

you've only ever shared kisses in his room, embraces, everything else for that matter. when the door is locked he quite literally melts into you. if you happen to be sitting together he just leans on to you.

just doesn't show any affection in public, especially if march is around. that girl would make fun of him for hours end and even drag the trailblazer in on her antics of poking fun.

march isn't the only factor as to why there hasn't been a lot of kisses out in public. if anything he probably wants to kiss you more than you would like.

he'd be lying if he said he wanted to just kiss you as long as those weird main characters of the romance shows march watches cause even though you might want that as well, dan heng won't ever do it.

cause it isn't him, what he is. is the type to get kisses done as soon as he can not because he doesn't enjoy them. it's because he can take a good look at you once he leans back, just like he does any other day.

and cause dan heng isn't the romantic type to kiss you senseless, but the one to give you looks you'd die for.

if dan heng only gives you kisses a few times a day and you'd consider it torture, better get ready to lose your sanity cause you're lucky if blade even crumples at your hand to give you one.

it's not that he doesn't love you. he feels as though it's wrong to label whatever emotion in his chest as something as strong as love, he won't go that far. but he won't label you as something worthy of hatred either, you're.. tolerable?

if anything blade doesn't outright seek to give you his affection through the form of a kiss. his love language is in fact, not physical affection but destroying your enemies :). (if you have one, if not. then whoever bothers you will suffice.)

but if he does, when he does it's the most blade thing he can do. just grabbing your face with one hand as he gives you one of those rough, deep kisses. it's not really desperate or out of need, despite such a wordless action you could feel some emotion he's pouring into it.

funny thing cause as much as he hates being piled in the same sentence as dan heng, in a way they're rather similar. both just preferring to witness, given their life span.. maybe it's some type of response they're used to.

blade doesn't really do the 'oh I love you' or the random hugs. the fact that he'd even stand so close to you instead of isolating himself and looking all mysterious leaning on a pillar already spoke volumes of his fondness (if not admitted.)

silver wolf comments about it when she's caught his eyes on you many times midst a conversation, behind your back, staring. "better watch out." she says, but even with her disturbed gaze never does he tear his eyes away.

kafka does take it in more stride than her. as someone who's spent a hefty time with blade, even someone as analytical as her can't tell which things he likes, and hates. besides all the blood and pain (well usually for his opponents.)

she for one, tells you that he does indeed like you. cause she can control who blade murders 'for her own good'. but if there's even a single glimpse of drop from a wound he's going feral, and not even kafka or her spirit whisper can tame his rage.

blade wholly believes that he doesn't need to shower you in affection, or kisses at all. but if you're really so insistent on them he'll give into you, which is surprising cause he's a pretty stubborn man.

most affection you'd get in physical means is when he completely collapses into you, perhaps a sign of weakness. but also trust. one of the rare times he's exhausted himself in his mind to the point where he can't even do anything.

jing yuan could give you a load, barriage, arrows, whatever describes the endless assault of pecks he attacks your face with. emphasis on 'could', he has the ability, and the freedom but it doesn't mean he's going to :)

in short you have to work for it, he says.

you can't tell if he's trying to give you one of those motivational, slapping you back to reality lessons or messing with you. you're going to go for the latter since someone as bold as he is lazy.. even jing yuan would relate enough to not hit you with the lesson card.

in a way he's always dragging the time you've gone by without a kiss from him as long as he can just for the sole reason he can see your attempts to conceal your bothered face, even better when the expression of content is all but displayed to him once he gives in.

you have a feeling he's teasing you again when he says that but it's better to not ponder upon it.

Heading back stage to go and congratulate the twins for their hard work, you can see the 2 twins and freminet look tired while their younger sibling is trying to help them relax. “Congrats for an amazing performance lynette!! You were fantastic on the tricks you did from practice, they look so amazing on stage and was your moment!!” Clapping your hands to congratulate lynette seeing her say thank you with a small smile from the praise, you went to grab a small towel from the tables nearby to help poor freminet not be alone. But it seems you missed one person to applause and is shock at you, or maybe you aren’t & teasing him waiting for him to say something. Helping lynette under her hair a bit so her head doesn’t start hurting due to having to tighten it, giver her some water and help clean up & put away the props. Stellaron Hunters and Astral Express Parallels

So, I've noticed that the Stellaron Hunters are basically a darker, murdery, and morally grey parallel version of the more heroic Astral Express, with every member mirroring another from the other group. Two sides of the same coin, if you will. First thing I'd like to point out, both factions don't really follow any current aeon. They "follow" (very loose term here) the missing-in action Akivili and the "Destiny" that Elio forsees. Both factions also are deeply involved with Stellarons(we encounter a stellaron on every planet, the Stellaron Hunters hunt them. Obviously) Here's some similarities I've thought of between the members and some theories based off each other: !!SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Dan Heng and Blade:

Both from Xianzhou,

Immortal in some way(Blade's self-regenerating and Dan Heng's reincarnations)

Same gender

Dan heng's five star form enhances his basic attack, like Blade, who I BET was ALSO a four star before the mara and Jing Liu incident

Similar age? Don't really know exact timeline between them

Both feature flowers in their gameplay(lotus flowers and spider lilies)

Himeko and Kafka:

Both intelligent women

The pseudo-moms of their faction.

I might be pulling out of my ass here, but I'd like to point out that both of them use both a ranged weapon(Himeko's laser and Kafka's gun) and also a melee weapon(Kafka's katana and Himeko's grator).

Since they are each others parallel, I'd like to make the assumption that since Himeko was the first one to join the Astral Express, that Kafka was the first one to join Elio. It just fits with the known info we have and clears up any ambiguity, but you don't have to strictly adhere by it lol.

March 7th's mysterious pasttttt. Like, the similarities between Danheng and Blade weren't revealed until his five star form was revealed and I'm making the theory that when March 7th's mysterious past is revealed, the similarities between her and Silver Wolf will appear!!!!

So Silver Wolf is from Punklord, is extremely accomplished and powerful, chaotic neutral with a sense of wanderlust. I don't know much about her(don't have her character/character story) so I can't say much more, but what I do know seems pretty plausible for March's former self.

It supports my theory that March 7th's five star form will be Nihility. Imbibiter Lunae was Destruction, like Blade. The memokeeper in March's quest said her past would "only bring her pain". How nihilistic is that? Either way, I'm definitely pulling xD

Stelle/Caleus and Firefly/Sam(the best for last ;)

So this is the one that really cemented this theory into my mind. So far, you might have noticed that every member's mirror image is the same gender(with the exception of Catlio and PomPom, I'll talk about it in the comments). But Trailblazer has TWO genders/personas. You know who ALSO has two genders/personas?FIREFLY/SAMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some theory and more similarities between them

They both are the explosive power powerhouse of their group(Stellaron and Sam's firepower)

Both pretty smart(dubious) and funny(hilarious, the both of them)

They both eat questionable things...Trailblazer's trash consumables and Firefly's woodchip Oak Cake(seriously, read the description, do they have iron stomachs or something??)

...So they might have iron stomachs.

Both were presumably artificially made. We know Firefly/Sam is(born to fight in a war) and the Trailblazer is a vessel of a Stellaron. There has to be some funky, wonky, genetic/biological makeup for that.

Anyway, I presume he doesn't have any parallel bc he's from another universe. I don't know much cause I haven't played Honkai Impact. Something about a comic and "herscherr"? Idrk but. I suppose Luocha could join the Stellaron Hunters. That would be crazy as hell and if it happens I CALLED IT, but it probably won't. Probably.

There is also the theory Sunday joined the Stellaron Hunters. It's honestly really interesting and if that's true.....Welt Yang and Sunday don't have any similarities so that's tossed out the window. So, that only leaves the possibilty that we will have a mirrored someone of Sunday joining the Astral Express in the future. That would be INSANE but fun as hell like, can you imagine?

it's been a few months since you started playing honkai star rail and nothing has changed about your habit of logging in late at night – or early in the morning. yet, dan heng has a hard time getting used to it. every time you awake him at four o'clock he gazes at you, dazed and confused, before he realizes it's that time again. "y/n, this isn't healthy for you," he mumbles every time, but he still gets up and accompanies you with no further complaints. give him a few minutes to adjust and he will be the sharp warrior he is by daylight! but as soon as you're done and log out, he'll pass out too lol.

gepard landau

he's definitely the most concerned out of everyone. and the most sleepy, too. he has a hard time waking up, and as soon as his eyes are open, they gaze at you with worry. "y/n, you should be asleep, don't you know what time it is?" he asks groggily, but he gets up regardless and readies himself to go out with you. i sincerely hope you're not at full 180 trailblaze power because this guy struggles to stay awake and provide shields, but he tries so so so hard for you and it's adorable. and he manages, just barely so, as he's super sleepy. please promise him that you'll go to sleep when you log out, or else he will remain worried.

blade

he might not show it, but you habit of skipping sleep and logging in at night to farm planar ornaments kinda worries him. he himself might not need much sleep so he isn't too bothered by having to work with you late at night, but he clearly sees the darkening bags under your eyes as you lead him through the simulated universe. but again, he doesn't really show it and silently does what you ask him to do. only when you're finished farming and are about to log out for the night, he makes you look at him. "go to sleep now, okay?" he sternly demands, but his eyes are softer than usual.

sampo koski

out of everyone, he would be the least bothered. he's practically nocturnal himself so it's not much out of the ordinary for him if you log in at three in the morning and ask him to join you on another farming trip to grind for relics and ascension materials. okay, maybe he slightly realizes that the two of you should be asleep but does he care? not really. he doesn't complain, is happy to spend time with you, and does everything you ask him to without spilling as much as a yawn or complaint. if any, he enjoys your nightly adventures!

jing yuan

well, this is an interesting combination. a sleepy general and a nocturnal being who asks him to grind at night, meaning jing yuan has to skip on his precious sleep. don't get me wrong, he doesn't complain and accompanies you without hesitation, but he isn't a night owl and it shows. he's waaay more quiet and not as smooth, yawns a lot and is pretty droswy in general. he's still a skilled warrior who clears the caverns of corrosion with ease but you can tell he is a tad bit out of it. please let him rest as soon as you're out of trailblaze power lol.

He's quite protective, so even if you're unharmed, something embarrassing happening for you like tripping is cause for concern for the boy!!!

It's a little awkward sometimes only because if you try to laugh it off, Gepard is totally adamant that you have nothing to feel awkward or embarrassed about

"This kind of thing happens to everyone. Please don't apologize!"

On the other hand, if it's something not involving potential bodily harm, I still don't think he'd laugh at you

At least, not too much

Gepard is the kind to be 100% sure you're okay before he even thinks of laughing at the situation

But in scenarios where you trip or possibly get hurt, he forgets the whole "laugh" part.

Still, if you were to do something like wave at someone who you thought was waving at you on accident (and they were actually waving at someone behind you) he'd... probably let a small chuckle slip.

It's even more embarrassing than bombastic laughter, arguably, because he's trying to hide it but it's so evident that he's amused

Would treat you to your favorite snack afterwards though as an apology!

He definitely gets worried that you're actually mad when he lets a small giggle slip, but you never are

"Y/N? Come on, I didn't mean to... I'm sorry!"

Let him trail after you a bit longer, it's cute to see him acting like an obedient puppy

Jing Yuan is the dignified General of the Cloud Knights. As such, he knows how to keep his composure.

Most of the time.

Truth be told, as much as the man is dedicated to his job and public appearance, he doesn't really feel like a cold, distant General. Even in public, but especially not in close quarters.

He's amicable, he smiles, he greets his people

But the first time anyone outside of the Seat of Divine Foresight had ever seen Jing Yuan laugh out loud was because of you.

When you stumbled into a pond in the gardens of the Central Starskiff Haven, your lovely boyfriend had barked one single, obvious cackle.

He was quick to politely put a hand over his mouth, but as your head popped up from the water, you had scowled.

There was an obvious smirk on his lips as he helped you out.

It had caught the attention of the (few, but still present) people nearby, so the two of you were quick to make your exit, your face burning red

Now, no matter how much he says it, Jing Yuan doesn't really feel sorry after...

Unless you really lay it on with the dramatics on how much it "upset" you.

Let's not kid ourselves, Sampo's bursting out laughing the second you topple over

I dare say this guy is even whipping out his phone to take pictures of your blunder like the little shit he is.

Don't worry, though—those photos will never reach the eyes of others. They're for him to giggle at when he's taking a break from his work, or sit in bed and coo over how cute you were pouting at him for his tearful chuckles.

Sampo is sort of the opposite of Gepard in this scenario

If you trip or do something that could've led to unlikely harm, he's still laughing his ass off at you first

Only if you're actually hurt will he calm down and help you out, but it's always superficial wounds so he's still wiping the tears from his own eyes when he bandages your wounds

Oh, he's so smarmy when you get upset though.

"Aww, is my sweetheart mad? I'm sowwy!"

Baby voice to the max, clasping his hands together like a repentant maiden, it's hard to discern which is more embarrassing—your accident or his behavior after.

He's teasing you about it for weeks after.

Again, the pictures he takes of the incidents (if he deems them funny enough) are for his eyes only, but the story is not for his ears only

Everyone in Boulder Town hears about the incident before the week ends. I feel bad for you, poor reader...

Especially right after, if you get "upset" with him, he'll be pinching your cheeks and cooing over you

He turns up the "act like a little old lady crooning over a cute youngster" act to the maximum too, which can be annoying, but it can also turn your embarrassment into amusement and laughter

Honestly, most of the time when he's treating you like that after a blunder, it's because he wants you to see the humor in it too

Doesn't want you to be hard on yourself for doing something kinda embarrassing—happens to the best of us!

Still, make him treat you afterwards. He'll do it eventually, you just have to get through the annoying antics first.

just before he was heading to his home office, he was yanked by the arm from you. "dan heng! i have an idea!" you weren't even trying to hide the fact that you finally found the ribbons he had already bought you as the ribbons' strings were falling out of your pockets. you probably were under the guise that you somehow already had needed decorations already.

"what is it?" he asked, allowing you to pull him into the shared mini library, onto the bay window. pulling out the random ribbons you managed to stuff into your pockets, "have you seen the coquette thing that's like trending on tiktok?"

"ive seen it circulating around, why?" dan heng replied as you opened your phone to tiktok. "well, i wanted to do this trend with you! some are questionable like this girl tied the bow on her boyfriend's jeanis. but i wont do that with you. is that okay with you, dan heng."

"of course, that's okay with me." he smiled sweetly as you took that as an initiative to wrap the thinnest pink ribbon around his ring finger, not too tight but not too loose. you placed a small peck on his ring finger, leaving a small lipstick stain next to his knuckles, as he hoped he wasn't looking too flustered.

"name, may i?" confused but you nodded your head anyway. dan heng wouldn't really do anything to cross your boundaries. he took your dominant hand's ring finger, using the same thin ribbon of pink around your finger, making the most perfect bow you've ever seen. you're kind of jealous because now his bow is less "coquette-y" as the one he tied. "you're so cute, dan heng!!" you said, adding a silver of dramatics in your voice. he chuckled as the color of the ribbon matches his cheeks.

as the minutes spilled into hours, by the time you and dan heng is finished, you and him both were wrapped in bows as if you two were christmas gifts themselves. he guessed that santa came a little early just to give him you.

GEPARD: he gives you the signal to do it

seeing how your friends' boyfriends refused the participate in the coquette tiktok trend made you wonder how your lovely boyfriend would react. walking out of the kitchen to the shared bedroom, you leaned into the bed, "sweetheart, wake up." he only murmured some words you couldn't decipher as you sat into the bed, accidently sitting on his legs. You paused in folding up your jacket as you turned to face Sampo. “Sorry?”

You were hanging out with Sampo, Gepard, and the three from the Astral Express; Caelus, Den Heng, and March. It was a warm day in Belabog and it was too hot to be wearing your usual oversized jacket. You had removed it in favour of your fitting turtleneck which would be much cooler. Apparently that had garnered the attention of one of your companions.

Sampo leaned forward from where he was sitting on the edge of the fountain. A sly smile stretched across his lips. “I said, you’re looking good. Not often one gets a glimpse of someone so beautiful.”

Gepard rolled his eyes. “Really, Sampo? It’s not like you haven’t seen your fair share of people you’d deem attractive.”

“Yeah but that turtleneck?” Sampo gestured to your form fitting top, “Pretty hot if you ask me.”

You turned away, unsure of how to react.

“Aw, come on. Don’t hide your beauty.” Sampo was insistent.

“Don’t make them uncomfortable.” You looked up at Caelus gratefully. Out of everyone there, he seemed to be the one who best understood your introverted tendencies.

“Certainly not my intent.” You looked across at Sampo who was leaning back with his hands raised. When he saw you looking at him, he smirked. “Looks like I’m not the only one who can’t help but stare.”

You sighed. Enough was enough. “Sampo, listen. I have the sex appeal of a croissant. If you’re looking for cake, you’re better off going to the bakery-” You waved a hand in the direction of the bakery, “-over there.”

Immediately, chaos erupted around you. The milkshake March had been drinking sprayed across the ground in front of her as she choked on however much of it had gone down the wrong pipe. Caelus was laughing, tears in his eyes as he rubbed March’s back. Gepard was attempting to smother a laugh. Even Dan Heng was fighting back a smile and he attempted to pass off his amusement as exasperation.

Perhaps the best expression was Sampo who was looking back at you with an expression halfway between dumbfounded and abashed.

March had recovered from her coughing fit. “That was amazing! Oh my goodness.”

“I certainly wasn’t expecting that.” Caelus was wiping the tears from his eyes, trying to compose himself.

Dan Heng was still trying to smother his smile but every time his eyes met yours, his efforts would fail and he would be forced to quickly compose his face again.

Gepard leant across to place a shoulder on Sampo’s shoulder. “She got you there.”

Sampo was still staring at you. Then, suddenly, he smiled, teasing mirth glimmering behind his eyes. “And just when I thought I couldn’t like you any more…”

"You.. have a sister?!" March 7th exclaims in surprise, while Welt and Himiko were already aware of her existence. Stelle shrugs before returning to her game, and you giggle a little. "Hello, everyone. I promise she won't bring too much trouble." He says in a mumble, letting her hand go and she looks over at the unfamiliar faces, before seeing you and her face immediately lights up.

"Pretty!" She runs in your direction, and clings onto you. This leaves you surprised and looking at your boyfriend, "Love?" You say with a chuckle, the little girl looks up at you and bounces a little. "I'm Chunhua! Big brother calls you pretty!" She says with an excited expression, "Shhh! Stop blabbering the first thing you think of!" He hissed, pinching her cheek.

"You think I'm pretty?" You say with a teasing tone and Dan heng chuckles. "I always do."

"Aaanyways, yeah.. Dearest, please help me take care of her." He asked of you, and you happily nod and pick her up into your arms. She immediately starts to squish your face, in which you giggle at her little antics.

The entire Express crew couldn't help but either be happy (mostly from Himiko and Welt), throw up (mostly from March.) or wish they had a partner (mostly from Stelle.) as Dan Heng looked at you and was just absolutely lovestruck that you got along with his little sister.

"I knew I made the right choice when I chose you."

"You can watch her for a while, can't you? I have to help Herta with something involving Stelle and a few others.. I have no one else to ask." Dan Heng practically pleads MARCH 7TH, who pities him in whatever evil scheme Herta's planning for whoever is involved. "Fine.."

You notice Dan Hang thanking March 7th whos back is turned to you, something like that between those two was a very rare ocassion. "Oh? Did you get him his favorite dish or something? There's no way that he'll be thanking you for anything.." You say with a little chuckle, but she turns around with who seems to be Dan Heng if he were a petite little girl. You squint a little and she gives you a toothy grin, one you immediately recognized. "Chunhua?" You raised a brow, "Thats me!" She answers with a giggle as March 7th seemed surprised that you boh knew each other.

"I was stuck on babysitting duty once too, I can help out with taking care of her."

All you really needed to do was borrow Peppy from Asta, and handed the small little dog to Chunhua who was entertained for the rest of the hours that Dan Heng was probably suffering in Herta's experiments. You and March 7th only used that free time to talk and talk while watching over the little girl, maybe the time together was enough of a payment after all. (Though truly unintentional on Dan Heng's part)

When GEPARD first boarded the Astral Express, he didn't expect that a small visit turned into a babysitting session. Once again, Dan Heng leaves his little sister with you and an unwilling Gepard as he has to run a few errands in Belabog with March and Caeulus.

"Sorry.. he does that a lot.. it's a little funny." You apologize on Dan Hengs behalf, as Chunhua seems to be staring at the unfamiliar blonde in the room. He's staring back down at her, tilting her head and he imitates the action. She tilts it to the other side, and he follows, making her giggle a little.

You notice the gentle smile in Gepards eyes, lifting her up into his arms and letting her rest there comfortably. "I didn't know you were good with kids?" You say with a surprised chuckle, crossing your arms and leaning on the nearest wall. "I mean.. Serval was older, but we had each other. There are a lot of kids who look up to the Silvermane Guards, you know? Sometimes we have to meet kids and.. they're always sweethearts. Most of the time, at least." He says while patting her back, swaying back and fourth as your heart warms at the idea your boyfriend is loved by children and elderly.

He always had such a big heart, and it was always so clear with how loved he was within the city. And he was good with kids? Truly husband material, you couldn't wait for the day your future would be spent every day with him, and you were reassured that if you ever decided to adopt children.. they'd be in good hands with Gepard.

The sound of him clearing his throat snaps you out of his daze, and you make eye contact with his beautiful eyes. "What are you thinking about?"
