Overwatch 2: Invasion: Lore Compilation - Winston

Winston's lore drops definitely did not go in a way I expected. He seems to be chatting with three new (?) characters who refer themselves as white hat hackers, but weirdly, one is named Harold?? Like Dr. Winston?? I don't think it's him, but odd name to pick. "Dangercat" talks a little bit like Sombra, but as far as we know Sombra isn't married, lol....unless this is some big future lore drop 😆

Too bad they don't seem to be utilizing Frankie from Deadlock Rebels. Maybe there's a role for her in the story yet.

I think I speak for the entire fandom when I say "F off, United Nations" LOL. Like seriously, what are YOU guys doing to stop Null Sector?!

Also, I know one of the devs was really excited on Twitter a while back talking about Tracer's "blanket lore". I guess the big lore reveal was that Winston bought it for her. And also that she apparently uses a child-sized comforter, lol. Tbh this is a cute little extra. I'm always happy to have tidbits like this for the characters.

This dude. This dude right here. He may not have the intelligence the good lord gave a rock, but what he lacks in smarts he makes up for in courage. TWICE this boy has broken out trying to attack an entire gaggle of geese. The first time I was feeding them and he lunged, but I was able to grab him before he received an epic beatdown. Today he sees the gang outside, decides that he would like to rage, and BUSTS THROUGH THE SCREEN LIKE THE KOOLAID MAN. I hear the fracas, and the geese scatter upon seeing me, Vern is just outside of the porch looking insane, and the girls are completely fluffed by the sliding glass door. Not knowing what to do, I command him to “GET YOUR BUTT BACK IN HERE, YOUNG MAN,” and weirdly enough that works. I just…GEESE DON’T MESS AROUND, VERN. So what is it?

Danger Cats is an interactive graphical adventure that synthesizes my favorite elements of comic storytelling in a retro pixel-art package.

Night One introduces us to Tom Dangercat, a burglar sneaking around the sleepy village of Blackberry Hill on a quest for rare comic books.

How to Play:

First of all, go to http://bradcollins.itch.io

Next, select Danger Cats: Night One and run game!

It’s really simple to play. Just use your directional arrows (keyboard) or drag your finger across the screen (smart phone).

Move Tom from scene to scene. Interact with any object that stands out to you by walking into it. Try everything! Try it twice! Each episode is jam packed with all sorts of absurdities.

Gift Arts I had made for JamsNJellies and DangerCat.  They are good people and make some awesome art!  I had commissioned them earlier this year and was extremely happy with the outcome, and they both did much more than they had to, so I thanked them in the only way I know how that isn’t monetary.

you’re startled-- kind of quick, startled. the turn around and the swift dilation of your pupils. they fill all the way in and pool into a circle and you’ve got, like, a sliver of green left around the totally unnatural effect. if your ears could tuck back, they would. dangercat doesn’t warn you-- good work, dangercat. “is there-- something on my face?” (psst. she doesn’t know her pupils dilate... well, like a cats do.)
