Listen Before I Go ; Jachary // Oneshot

I stood there my feet on the very ledge of the building.
The wind blowing through my brunette hair.
One step forward and it would be the end of it all.
I open eyes, all the buildings around me bright and beautiful.
I've always told Jack that the last thing I wanna see before I die is the bright beautiful lights of the city.

The other day, I asked Jack if his love for me was endless and forever.
He hesitated to say yes and that's when I knew he didn't really love me.
He just felt bad for me, he didn't see me as more than a friend.
But he knows that if he would have said no I would have ended it all.
Jokes on him, I know he didn't mean a single word that slipped from his mouth yesterday.
Soon after that he left me, I haven't seen him since our conversation.

The door to the roof access slammed open
Causing me to jump a little bit, I turn around.
There he was.
His chest heaved up and down as he was trying to catch his breath.
"Don't do it Zach, please for the love of god don't do it." He begged.
"This has to happen Jack, hurry up and say what you need to right now."
"Because more sooner than later I won't be standing here."
"You won't be able to hug or call me."
"I'll be gone."
"No Zach, stop. You can't leave me, I won't let you!" Jack chokes out holding back tears.
"You did this, Jack. This is all you fucking fault."
"If you would have just told the truth I wouldn't be standing here right now!"
"I have never lied to you Z, I don't understand how this is my fault. All I have ever done is loved you, I've always been there for you. No matter what."
"See that's where wrong, Jack. You may have always been there for me and you may have always loved me. But I know you only love and care for me as a friend. I'm not stupid J. Yesterday when I asked you if you would love me forever, you hesitated to say yes. I know you wanted to say no, I could feel it. You only said yes because you knew if you said no then this right here would happen. But now it's even worse because my best friend of 10 years lied straight to my face. My lover lied straight to my face. So yes this is your fault."

"I was afraid, I was afraid of you leaving me."
"Sorry can't save me, Jack."
"Sorry can't change the fact that your a lier."
"Hell, who knows how long you've been lying to me."
"I can't live in a world full of lies anymore, bub."
"I just can't do it."
"I don't know how to do it."

"Every single day I wake up, it's just a whole headache."
"Every year is just a whole headache."
"That's all it is and that all it ever will be."
"The result of this is just hours spent locked in my room, crying."
"That's all I know how to do, is cry."
"I really don't want to live 82 more years crying, knowing that you'll never love me."

"Zach, we've known each other literally since birth. Your my best friend, your everything. Your all that matters to me. Don't leave me."
"Don't say I'm all that matters, Jack. That's not true, you have Jonah, Daniel and Corbyn."
"Just leave like you did last night, you don't care about me."
I turn on my heel, my back now facing Jack.
The fall from here being very long but deadly, exactly how I want it.

"Listen, before I go."
"When you get back home, tell the boys I love them more than there little brains can comprehend."
"I love you bubbie, promise you'll never forget me."
"I promise, honey."
With that I jumped, the last words I ever heard before my soul left my body was the broken choked up words from my boyfriend.
"I love you, Zach Herron."

Her Reasons | J.A.
Y/N got distant to Jack and he doesn't know why.
warning(s): angst, swearing
word count: 2102
a/n: requested by anon. yes, jack avery yayy :) i was thinking about blurbs, just send them. enjoy!
"Home sweet home!" Corbyn announced as the van stopped in front of the apartment complex where all of the Why Don't We boys' families live. Everybody woke up from their sleep, they got jet lag after that ten hour flight from Europe to USA.
They went to the elevator all the way up, the five boys bid goodbyes as they depart from each other heading to their respected apartments. Jack was the last one to reach his apartment, he used his spare key to get in.
"WELCOME HOME JACK!!!" he was surprised seeing his family setted up a surprise for him. He's genuinely happy to see his family after almost two months of not seeing them. They were his gems.
"I missed you, baby." his mom hugged him as he set his luggage down.
"Missed you too, mom." he replied, not long when he felt someone hugging his torso. He smiled picking Isla up.
"I miss you so much, Jack." she wrapped her arms around his brother and hugged him. Jack also gave his sisters and his dad hugs as well.
The Averys and Stanfords had lunch in the table complete, it was nice to finally had lunch together, with Jack in it. This rarely happen since Jack has been very busy with his career.
"Why is Y/N not around?" Jack spilled, he had been thinking about this since he got home. He was curious as to why Y/N, his girlfriend, not involved in this surprise.
"She's busy, I guess." Ava shrugged, among the siblings, she's more close to her.
"Yeah, I remember her telling me how she has been busy with school lately." Sydney butted in.
"But she took online classes," Jack furrowed his brows as he takes another bite from his meat.
It was getting suspicious. Jack didn't believe with her excuse, he isn't dumb that she's just making up excuses. Though, this isn't the first Y/N got very suspicious. The other day, while the Why Don't We boys went strolling around London, Jack couldn't stop himself from calling his girlfriend. So he did.
To his suprise, Y/N ignored his calls. He even sent her a voicemail, but he only got one text from her. Saying, she was very busy and doesn't have time to talk. She then added that Jack should take care of himself and whatnot.
As much as Jack wanted to sleep in his comfy bed after having a jet lag, he drives off on the way to Y/N's house just to see her. He missed her so much that he'll do anything just to see her.
Not long when Jack arrived at Y/N's, walking to her doorsteps and knocked. Jack felt nervous, he didn't know why, maybe because it has been a couple of months since the last time he visited. Maybe because he haven't seen his girlfriend for almost two months or maybe he was nervous because something was up?
Jack ringed the doorbell once again, then finally he heard the sound of the door opening. He then saw Y/N's younger sister, Elora.
"Hi Jack!" the twelve year old girl greeted excitedly and gave her sister's boyfriend a hug. Jack has always been good with kids.
"Nice to see you, El."
"You too." they pulled away from each other.
"Is Y/N's home?" Jack asked. Elora smiled and nodded, she opened the door widely so Jack can come in.
"She's upstairs, I'm sure she'll be surprised to see you!" she giggled as she ran to the living room, leaving Jack alone in the hallway of her girlfriend's house.
I hope she will, Jack thought.
As the boy reaches the second floor of Y/N's house, Jack couldn't imagine the last time he was here. It looked like way too different. It felt different.
Jack knocked at the cream colored door of Y/N which also has a sticker that says 'Keep Out!' in capital letters. He smiled as he smiled reminiscing in the memory he got with Y/N with that sticker.
Jack and Y/N went to Target that time, she then found that sticker and she was so obsessed with it that she had to get it. They sticked that sticker together. It was just a little thing they did, but it means a lot to him.
"Baby?" Jack called out as he opened the door seeing his girlfriend playing her ukulele. He couldn't even recognize the song she was playing, all that matters that he finally saw her. He missed her so much.
Y/N noticed someone at the door, she looked up to see who it was. It was his boyfriend, Jack.
Jack saw Y/N surprised with what she saw. She was suprised, Elora was right. Jack thought.
"J-Jack..." Y/N stuttered as she stood up and walked towards Jack, as she got closer to him he hugged him tight. "You should be at home right now, getting rest."
He pulled away, way too surprised with his words. "Wait, you knew I'm home?"
Y/N pursed her lips and nodded. Jack was surprised that she knew, what suprised him more is that she didn't even bother to call him or see him.
"Why didn't you call me or something?" the boy furrowed his brows, he thought it was pathetic of her to not call to hang-out. Jack just couldn't believe her.
"Jack, you're tired and you need to res-"
"No, no, no." he cutted her off, "Why are you being like this? I'm like here, right now, with you. I went here to see you even though I just got home from whatever country I was in and you're pushing me away. Do you have any idea how stress I am right now?"
Y/N couldn't construct a sentence for him to justify what she just said. She looked down, "Yeah, you're right. Jack, I have no idea how stress you are and I'm sorry." she paused, "Can we just talk this out tomorrow? Get some rest."
Jack was carried away with his emotions, he was tired. Yeah, it was true. Though, he didn't realized how it hurted Y/N's feelings. I fucked up, Jack thought.
"Babe, I'm sorry. I didn't me-"
"It's okay, Jack. I understand." Y/N cutted him off, "Really. You need rest."
Jack knew with Y/N's mood right now, he won't be able to talk to her properly and the fact that she only called him 'Jack' and not like their nicknames for each other, he knew something was up.
"We're going to talk tomorrow, right?" the boy asked and she nodded. "Okay, I'll see tomorrow, then." Jack waited for her to reply but she didn't, he then decided to leave.
As he was on the way home, many things were running inside his head. Why is she being like this? Was she mad? Why is she so distant? What did I do? Is she falling out of love?
Questions were hunting Jack, he couldn't answer those, only Y/N can answer it.
Even in his sleep, it felt like nightmare. He barely sleep that night. He couldn't stop thinking about Y/N.
* * * *
Jack met up with the Why Don't We boys first before his brunch with Y/N. They were all gathered at Corbyn's apartment where they can play Fortnite. It was odd to see Jack not play Fortnite, because he was always up for it, but this time, he wasn't.
"Boyband meeting, how nice." Corbyn's younger sister, Ashley, spoke as she saw the boys in the living room.
"We are a man band." Jonah corrected as he sips from his coffee.
"Whatever, I'm leaving." she replied as she leaves.
"Woah, she's feisty." Zach grinned as he played Fortnite with Corbyn.
"Don't even think about it, Herron. She's my little sister." Corbyn spat as his eyes still on the game, and the boys laughed. Except for Jack.
"Someone woke up at the wrong side," Daniel joked as he flips his phone which earned chuckles from the boys.
"Hey, what's wrong bro? Hair problem?" Jonah asked sarcastically.
"Fuck you, Jonah." Jack glared which made the boys furrow their brows.
"Woah, it's very early to hear curses inside Besson's household. Care to explain why your mood is poor?" Corbyn spoke which made Jack sigh heavily.
"It's Y/N."
"What happened?" Daniel asked with concern, all of them were concern to their noodlehead friend that they have to stop whatever they're doing so they could listen.
"She's so distant lately, she barely text or call. Yesterday, I went to see her and she told me that I should be home, getting rest." Jack explained, "It felt like she's getting rid of me. I told her shitty things yesterday, I was such an asshole." his vision was getting blurry and his voice broke. "It feels like she doesn't love me anymore."
The boys went up to him and gave him a hug, Jack was crying. It was rare for Jack to cry for girls, he was usually a crybaby when it comes to his mom and sisters.
"Bro, I'm sure she has her reasons." Jonah said which made Jack looked up at him, "What I meant is that she has her reasons why she was so distant lately.".
"Just talk this out with her." Daniel smiled and they hugged once more.
"It'll be okay, dude." Corbyn said.
"Hey, Zach. Any words of encouragement?" Jonah asked Zach.
Zach paused for a bit, "Go Jack!" he cheered while he raised both of his arms and all the boys laughed.
* * * *
After their food arrived, Jack finally spoke. "I'm sorry about yesterday."
Y/N smiled, "It's okay, that was a bitchy move when I said it. I didn't mean it like that."
"Hey, don't say that. I was such an asshole." he stated which made Y/N chuckle.
"I guess, we're even." she shrugged as they eat, "Jack... I have reasons why I was being like this, you know."
She has her reasons, Jack thought.
He didn't reply as a sign that Y/N should continue, "You've been travelling a lot and I understand how hard it is for you to balance your time with work, family and me, it's not easy to deal with it." she started, "I don't want to be that kind of girlfriend who asks for attention 24/7 because I know you couldn't, you are way too busy for that. But I mean, even a little time from you won't hurt, right? My role as your girlfriend is to support you all the way as long as you're happy."
"I'm sorry, Y/N. I really am." Jack spoke genuinely.
"Hey, don't be sorry." she hissed, "What makes you happy, makes me happy. You reaching your dreams makes me happy and I won't take that away from you. Jack, you have no idea how proud I am."
Jack furrowed his brows, "Wait, are you breaking up with me?"
"What the fuck? Of course not." she chuckled.
"Then why are you saying this?"
"I just wanted to tell you how proud I am. I was being distant lately, because I understand how stress and how tired you are from your work and I wanted to give you space. When you were on tour, I realized how burden I was to you. I just didn't want you to be obligated of me."
"Y/N, don't say that. Please don't, you are not a burden."
"These couple of days off from tour should be your rest time, you know. Your health matters to me and I'm not going to be selfish with the rest you deserve." she explained, "And if you're thinking that I don't love you anymore, stop that. I love you so much, you mean a lot to me. I'm just being understanding with what you are going through right now."
Jack gestured Y/N for a hug, she went to his side of the booth and hugged him. "You're making me cry. I love you."
"I love you too, baby. I rarely see you cry, I'm glad it worked." she laughed as she hugged her boyfriend.
It was just a little thing Y/N did for Jack after all the love that Jack gave to her. He deserves to be loved. He deserves to be supported after all the hardwork he did to succeed.

masterlist
“Mom, I don’t want to go to school. It’s terrifying being the new girl.” I whined as my mom drove me to school.
“Jill, you’re going to be fine. Stop being such a drama queen.” she laughed and pulled up to the large building.
“I don’t know anybody. What if I don’t make any friends?”
“I’m sure you will, sweetie. Just be yourself and I guarantee you’ll have at least 1 friend by the end of the day.” she assured me as I climbed out of the car. I waved goodbye to her as she drove away, leaving me to adjust by myself.
I was walking down the hall, away from the principals office, when I was bumped into. I dropped everything I was carrying and looked up, prepared to yell at the person who bumped into me, when I looked up into the most beautiful brown eyes.
“Sorry. I wasn’t paying attention.” the boy chuckled and helped me pick up my things, as well as his own. ”Are you new here?” When I didn’t respond, he looked down awkwardly. “Uh...I’m Zach.” he smiled and extended his hand.
“J-jill.” I smiled and shook his hand.
“Come on Zach. Let’s go.” a tall boy said as he walked by us and picked Zach up. The 2 of them started walking away with another tall boy but Zach came back.
“I think this is yours.” he chuckled and handed me my schedule. “Looks like I’ll see you all day.” he smiled before jogging to catch up with his tall friends.
I’m pretty sure I just made a friend.
At lunch, I looked around the cafeteria for an empty table. Zach popped into my mind so I looked for him but couldn’t spot him. Just the 2 tall boys from this morning sitting at a table with 2 other guys and 1 girl.
“Why don’t you come sit with me?”
I turned around and Zach was standing beside me. I nodded and followed him over to his table. He introduced me to his friends. The tall boys from this morning were Jonah and Daniel. The blonde boy was Corbyn, the curly haired kid was Jack and the girl was Christina. They all waved and continued to eat their food.
“So, Jill, tell me about yourself.” Zach smiled as he took a bite of his burger, turning his attention to me.
“Well, what do you want to know?”
“Let’s start with where you’re from.” he smiled.
“Okay. Well, I’m from Minnehaha, Washington.”
“Dude, Minnehaha is right outside of Vancouver.” Daniel smiled as he turned his attention to us, along with everyone else.
“I know. My dad was from Vancouver.”
“That’s so cool. That’s where I’m from.” he smiled.
“Really? Awesome.”
“So, what brings you to New York?” Zach questioned.
“My mom got transferred here when she got her newest promotion. She’s always getting promotions so her job relocates her a lot.”
“It must be tough being the new kid, huh?” Corbyn asked.
“It is. But I don’t think I’m gonna be the new girl anymore. She promises that this is the last place we’re moving to. She told me yesterday that if she was told she was being relocated, she’d quit.”
“Damn.”
The rest of lunch was silent.
I made a total of 6 friends on my first day.
Over the next few months, I could always be found with either Zach or someone else from the group. At school, I was never alone and I liked it.
“So, Christmas is coming up soon. You guys planning on going to the Winter Wonderland in Central park this weekend?” Christina asked as we sat at our usual lunch table.
“I’ve never been to it so I’m in. How about you guys?” I asked.
“Sounds like fun.” The boys groaned, making me give them a confused look.
“Don’t worry about them. We go every year so they probably find it boring.” Christina giggled. “Boys are such morons.”
“Hey, that wasn’t very nice babe.” Corbyn piped up. “And we don’t find it boring.”
“Sure you don’t.” she pecked his lips and rolled her eyes. “We’ll meet at my house and go on Saturday.”
“Okay.”
I spent Friday night at Christina’s house and we did everything girls do at sleepovers. And by that, I mean we watched Netflix, ate junk food and talked about boys.
“I still can’t believe you like Zach.” she laughed.
“He’s cute.”
“I know. They all are. But my heart belongs to Corbyn, sadly.” she joked.
“You guys are cute.” I smiled as the opening credits for FRIENDS came on. We both sang along to the theme and that night was one I’d never forget.
“Okay. We’re here.” Christina smiled as she parked the car and climbed out. I followed and we walked to the gates.
“Hey guys.” Jonah smiled as we approached them.
“Let’s go.” Christina giggled excitedly as she grabbed Corbyn’s hand and ran in. I let everyone else go in before me but Zach stayed with me. As we walked through the park, I took in all the amazing displays.
“It’s really beautiful here. I love how some people have so much Christmas spirit and are willing to put so much time into these displays. They’re amazing.” I smiled and looked at Zach. He had a big smile on his face as he looked at me. “What?”
“Nothing. I was just....admiring the displays too.”
“Okay.” I smiled and kept walking. Every once in a while, I felt Zach’s hand brush against me, sending shivers up my spine.
After an hour of walking around, we all stopped to grab some hot cocoa from a stand in the middle of the park. The boys all paid for their own, while Corbyn also paid for Christina’s and Zach paid for mine.
“Thanks.” I smiled and took a sip. “Yum. This is the most delicious cocoa I’ve ever had.”
“It’s the best cocoa in New York.” Christina smiled as she drank most of hers in one gulp. “Can’t get enough of this stuff.”
“I love you.” Corbyn smiled and they began to walk. We all followed and as we walked, Zach brushed my hand again so I stopped to look at him.
“You okay?” he asked.
“Yeah. It’s just that you keep brushing your hand against mine. And I don’t know if it’s an accident or not, but if you want to hold my hand, why didn’t you just ask?”
“I uh...”
“He likes you!” Corbyn shouted from a few feet away. Zach turned and started smiling while his cheeks turned red.
“Do you?” I asked him, his attention being brought back to me. “Awe. You’re so cute. Look at that blush.”
“It’s beautiful.” Christina stared in amazement at the shade of Zach’s cheeks. “So Zachary, do you like Jill?”
“What? No. I don’t.” he chuckled awkwardly, earning a look from Corbyn. “I mean, yeah. She’s pretty and funny and nice and pretty and...where was I going with this? Oh right. Yeah, I do.”
“Good because she likes you too.” Christina whispered in his ear and walked back over to Corbyn, leaving Zach and I alone as the rest of the group gathered a few feet away.
“So, you like me?” he wondered.
“Mhm.”
“Do you, maybe, want to go out tomorrow night?” he asked.
“I’d love to Zachary.” I giggled and placed a kiss on his cheek.
This is my favorite time being the ‘New Girl’ and I don’t think I ever want to be the New Girl again.

prank - DS.
pairings: reader x daniel seavey
warnings? a few swear words.
summary: Can you do an imagine where the reader is a YouTuber and she does a cheating prank on Daniel and he gets really upset and scared but it ends up all cute? Thank you in advance, I love your writing!
requested? yes!
“Hello everybody and welcome back to my channel!” I said into the camera that was currently set up in the kitchen of the Why Don’t We household. I was a youtuber and recently my subscribers had told me I should get my boyfriend back, who pranked me with a fake snake, knowing my fears over snakes. I freaked out so much that I feel into the pool.
I asked my subscribers how should I prank Daniel - the boyfriend of mine, and they all said pretend to cheat on him. Obviously I wasn’t going to cheat on him, I would never do that. I was a bit skeptical about this whole video.
“So in today’s video I am finally getting back around to pranking Daniel.” I said smiling into the camera. “But I need some guests too help me.”
“Hey.” Zach and my best friend, Jackson said walking too frame. Jackson was my friend from back home in North Carolina, and I considered him my brother because I’ve known him since we were born. He was visiting me in LA so I thought this would be the perfect time to prank Danny.
“So you guys obviously know Mr Zach Herron. But you don’t know my best friend slash brother from another mother, Jackson. He is currently visiting me from North Carolina and he has agreed to help me prank Daniel.” I said to the camera. “Basically what’s going to go down is, Jackson and I are gonna be here in the kitchen pretending to make out. We’re not going to make out because ew gross, but we’re gonna angle our heads to make it look that way. Then Zach here is gonna sit in the living room area and call for Daniel to make him his signature peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Daniel will walk into the kitchen and boom. There’s all you need to know. Lets go.”
All three of us got into our places. I was so nervous but I didn’t want too show it. Zach sat down in the living room, I sat on the kitchen counter with Jackson standing in between my legs. I had hid my camera in the corner but also had two go pros set up from different angles. I sighed, waiting for Daniel to walk into the kitchen.
I heard Daniel come down the stairs and go into the living room where Zach was. I looked at Jackson with fear in my eyes. He knows how much I love this boy. But I decided to bottle it up and do this.
“Hey can you make me a pb and j?” I heard Zach ask. “You know yours are so much better than mine.”
“Sure thing.” Daniel said. I grabbed the back of Jackson’s head pulling him too near my face. Our faces were centimetres about but I moved my hair in the way so that it looked like we was kissing. We both moved our heads in sync pretending to make out even though we wanted to burst out laughing. Jackson sniggered making me bite the inside of the mouth so I wouldn’t laugh out loud.
“What the fuck!” Daniel said. Jackson and I both put our acting faces on and snapped our heads over to Daniel’s direction. He was stood in the corner, arms out too his side, visibly pissed.
“Oh shit.” I mumbled.
“Fuck this. Fuck all of this.” Daniel said before he walked out of the room and towards the stairs. I jumped down off the counter, calling after him but he was ignoring me. I followed him up the stairs and towards his bedroom, where he slammed the door hard. Right in my face.
I turned around to see Jackson holding my camera, following me. “Oh shit, we really pissed him off.” I said to Jackson, not even looking at the camera. My heart broke a little bit when I heard the bathroom door slam. I grabbed the camera off of Jackson and turned it off. I didn’t want people seeing this. God, I was stupid.
“Daniel.” I said knocking on the door. “Daniel it was a prank I swear. I didn’t actually make out with him.” He didn’t reply.
I opened the door to his and Jack’s room seeing that he locked himself in the bathroom. I asked Jackson to not come into the room as I wanted to speak to Daniel alone. He was so pissed, I’ve ruined our relationship. I looked around the room, seeing that he had thrown a few things across the room. I walked over to the bathroom door and sighed, knocking on it.
“Leave me the fuck alone.” He said and I sighed, resting my head against the cold wooden door.
“Daniel. It was a prank. I filmed the whole thing.” I tried to reason.
“Seriously, (y/n)?” He said from the other side of the door. “I’m being serious. Leave me alone.” I sighed to myself once again and sat down on the floor, next to the door. I might as well wait for him to leave the bathroom since he can’t stay in there forever.
I heard him get in the shower, so I waited. I knew I had messed up when I didn’t hear him sing. I waited for forty-five minutes, wanting to speak to him but I knew he was furious with me. I wanted to know what was going on in his head.
I sat outside the bathroom, leaning against the wall just waiting for him to realise that it was all a prank. I sat up properly when I heard the door open. I looked up at my boyfriend who simply rolled his eyes at me.
“I said leave me alone.” He said grabbing a jacket and his phone. I stood up and walked over to him, wanting him to stay and listen to me. “I’m going to my mom and dad’s.”
“Daniel.” I said following him out of his room and down the stairs. “It was a prank. Why don’t you believe me?”
“Bye (y/n).” He said walking out of the front door and into what I presumed was an uber.
I’ve screwed up.
———
Two hours later and I was walking towards the Seavey household in LA. Anna had texted me saying he was really upset, but he knew that it was a prank. Everyone knew. So I decided to go over there and talk to him. I didn’t know it would effect him this much.
“He’s mom and dad’s room.” Anna told me as soon as she opened the door. I thanked her and walked towards their room, fiddling with the box that I had in my jacket pocket. All I wanted was for him to understand. I gulped and knocked on the door.
“Come in.” I heard him say. I opened the door slowly and saw him laying on the bed on his phone.
“Can we talk?” I asked walking over to him timidly. He nodded his head in response and locked his phone, moving it to the side. He sat up properly and stared at me waiting for me to apologise.
“I’m sorry.” I said sitting at the end of the bed. “I screwed up. Big time. I didn’t think you’d get this mad about it, but it was a prank, Daniel, believe me. You know I think of Jackson as my brother and he’s really sorry too. It was just a stupid prank, I never should’ve done it. I would never cheat on you. I would never cheat on anyone. It’s such a shitty thing to do and I hope you don’t think I’m a horrible person.”
“I don’t. I don’t think you’re a shitty person.” He said looking at his hands. I looked up at him a little bit surprised. “I wouldn’t be dating you if I thought you were a shitty person. I know it’s a prank and you told me I believed you, I don’t know why I was so angry. I walked into the kitchen and it was like my heart broke. My chest hurt and I couldn’t think straight. But you said it was a prank and I trusted you, I always will. I just needed time to myself.”
“I am sorry.”
“I know. You don’t need to apologise because I know.”
“Um, I was waiting until your birthday to give you this but now is a good time.” I said grabbing the small box out of my jacket pocket. He looked at me confused as I handed it to him. “Open it.”
He opened the box and saw the ring that was in there. It was just a simply black band, like some of his other rings. But this one is so much more special.
“I got something engraved on it.” I said pointing to the ring that he was fiddling with. He looked at the inside of the ring and read what was engraved out loud.
“Unconditionally. (y/n). Love heart?” He said confused. “What does this mean?”
“Think of it as a promise ring.” I smiled at him. “I want you to know that I love you, unconditionally and I mean it. You have my heart, Danny. I’ve had boyfriends and I thought that I would be with them forever, but I was young, naive and had no idea what love was. But with you I can see a future, I can see myself spending the rest of my life with you. No matter what happens between us, I will always love you, because you’ve changed my life. I love you and I promise to only love you.”
“What about you? Do you have a ring?” He asked slipping it on to one of his fingers. I showed him the simple silver band that I had on my wedding finger.
“It only says Danny.” I told him. “I didn’t want to engrave all of that stuff on to it because I don’t know how you feel about me.”
“I think you need to go back and get it engraved with a few more words.” He mumbled, moving closer towards me. “Because I love you too, (y/n). I will always love you. My love you is unconditional.”
I smiled at him as he grabbed my chin, pulling me into kiss him. Our lips touched and it wasn’t a rough kiss, it wasn’t sensual, it wasn’t quick. It was slow, it was passionate. It was everything I loved.
“I’m so glad that prank happened.” He mumbled against my lips, his hot breath was on my lips.
“You are?” I asked moving back to look into his deep blue eyes.
“Yes.” He said. “Today happened for a reason. There was a reason this happened, because fate decided that today would be the day we truely declare how much we love one another. I trust you, (y/n). I think God has allowed me to find the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with. Without today happening we most probably wouldn’t be this deep into our relationship.”
“You mean it?” I asked.
“Always.” He replied giving me another kiss. “I truely love you. More than anyone else.”
“I love you so much, Daniel.”
He smiled and gave me one last kiss before pulling away. He grabbed my hand and walked me into the main area of the Seavey household where his parents and sister were sat.
“Worked things out?” Jeff asked. We both looked at each other and nodded our heads frantically.
“Look what she got me.” Daniel said excitedly, showing his family the ring and what was engraved on it. I stood in the corner watching the interaction.
There is nothing in this world that I love more than the boy who is sat there with a rosy face, a smile so big, a laugh so infectious and the boy who I know I want to spend my whole life with.
a/n: hope you guys enjoy! this one is cute and i really enjoyed writing it, so here’s to you anon for requesting! if you would like to request an imagine of your own then please do that and i’ll be more than happy too. next up is a jack imagine!
