y'know. at least a couple of times now, i've seen the theory that, potentially, Rainer was another victim of Marvin's (whether that be of rebirthing or just abuse in general). and my brain has decided to latch onto it for some reason.

From 45 to 90, to 180, to 360, 720, 1080, 1440, 1800, 2160, winding, tightening, tightening... I was stunned by pure horror and disgust.

It was a breezy day.

I was visiting the family like I always did on weekends- though it seems I am not a part of it anymore. The death of my brother weighs in on my family more than ever. I feel dizzy as I approach my cousin's house- the green car is parked on the front porch, blindingly fluorescent and vivid.

It was windy.

"Where is ______?" I asked. She averted her eyes and smiled. "Oh, he's at the school, y'know."

"On a Sunday?"

"Yes, dear. He has a lot of work to be done. Being a teacher sure is more hectic than what we think."

It was my cue to stop talking. I was prying into business that wasn't mine- again, we no longer seemed like family. I looked at my aunt- her face pallid and paler than ever; it's been years since I've seen her look like this.

"Where's C̶̠̺̊̎̽̈́̐ȧ̸͖̱̯̦͚͈͍̣̒r̶̛̛̫̼̳͍̲͔͗̍̈r̵͍̒͋̓̊̑̀͆͘͜͠i̵̛̝͖̞̮͂̽͊͐̀͑ě̵̡̠̜̟͎̆͜ͅ?"

"Where's Care?" I asked.

"She's playing outside." Aunt Anna smiled. You can go play with her. She misses you a lot, you know?"

I walked out the front door. The green car was still parked on the porch. ______'s car. It was unnerving for some reason. I closed my eyes and still felt the green car speeding towards me, and in a blinding flash of white, I felt weak. I felt my legs sink into the soil and my body being torn apart. I did not even get a moment to let out a cry or scream as I lay there on the ground, the flash of light dimming into the dark once and for all.

Care was all by herself- I felt calm. She was putting her arms up high and jumping around in the direction where the wind blew. The breeze blew inconsistently back and forth to which she spun, from 45 to 90, to 180, to 360, 720, 1080, 1440, 1800, 2160, winding, tightening, tightening...

I was stunned by pure horror and disgust.

Her body spun rapidly- twisting, convulsing, swirling into a tornado of some sort- she spun clockwise, anticlockwise, rotating, revolving all whilst flailing her arms around and screaming at the top of her lungs. I froze.

Her body twisted upwards from her ankles to her neck and for a split second, it almost seemed like her head broke, hanging limply on her side. Her hair seemed suspended in the air- thin strands like the petals of a flower hung afloat.

Her whole body spiralled and spun.

Like a windmill.

PETSCOP HEADCANONS (from Paul Leskowitz IRL)

TW FOR RAMCOA, CULTS, SUICIDE, ECT.

The first and most important is that Care/Paul is a victim RAMCOA and the events of petscop are them rediscovering their trauma in the easiest way their brain could handle: Video Game form.

Rainer, who is also a victim of RAMCOA and was originally Daniel, is presented as the creator of Petscop because not only is he a figure not relatively associated with Care’s abuse in particular,, but he got out. He disappeared for a bit and when he came back, condemned the leader of the cult and main abuser, as well as brought all the abuse to light with his letter. Tiara/Belle are another case, all three of them being victims of Marvin’s cult and abuse.

Personally, I think Paul is supposed to mirror Rainer, as in Care split Paul in attempts to create someone who could escape and was strong enough to fight back, ect.

I also don’t think that Rainer was ACTIVELY depressed or suicidal in the way that a lot of people HC or make him.. I don’t think his suicide was out of necessity or even wanting to die or put it behind him or anything,, I think his death was spiteful, angry. Not in a helpless “it’s my only way” manner.. in a “you killed me once, now it’s my turn” way.

I could sit and like connect all the dots and explain these hcs, but that’s like a whole deep dive post on its own,,, soooo I’m not going to do that unless it’s necessary but now that that’s out of the way!!!

Care / A is the original host, Carrie,, and serves as a trauma holder,, she’s permanently stuck between 5-8 and fronts to sooth episodes/flashbacks via spinning them into positive things or unrecognizable moments

B/Sara (bc I gave them names, yeah) holds guilt and serves as a “double agent”,, a protector that follows rules or requests to protect the body,, she seems almost unwaveringly loyal to Marvin despite her very obvious fear of him but it’s a front to protect them from him

NLM/Heidi is a trauma holder and persecutor and enforces the rules and lessons they are taught,, she’s the most unstable and wherever she is Sara is Not far behind

All of their names are assigned to them by choice as it’s common in programmed abuse to assign parts Demeaning names or titles that dehumanize them,, such as A, B, NLM.

In addition to Paul (the player) there is Paul (the character) who is the co-host and memory holder,, he fronts when Paul doesn’t need to,, masking the best as him. Day to day life is often split between Paul’s

Guardian is the gatekeeper / protector

Pall exists to purposefully misdirect Paul from rediscovering trauma

I have a bunch of silly ones too,,

like Paul keeps his hair longer because he “likes it that way” (Care likes to put it up in fun ways and Heidi uses touching/pulling on it as a form of stress relief)

Paul himself wears glasses but not everyone does (especially not Care who has sensory problems and Hate Them) so sometimes they spend hours blind as a bat and with horrible migraines and nobody can figure out why

They order food at home serval times a week and it fluctuates between like enough food for 2 gym bros and One 4 Piece Kids Meal

And then there are some sweet ones and stuff about their healing journey and whatever!!!! But!!!! That’s the important stuff

I love them, they’re everything to me,,, I watched petscop right from the beginning and I have been horrifically emotionally attached for 5ever and I think about them all the time I am so excited people want to hear about it!!! Yippee :3

Alright so:

Paul is a cat for the sole reason that he canonically has a cat LOL. I came up with the idea of him being a calico because 1) they're my favorite cat breed, and 2) transgender

Care came after him. Not much else to say, I just think she's neat :) she's holding a daisy

Belle was the one I had the most trouble picking a species for u_u I bounced from bunny to sheep to goat, but in the end I settled for wolf as a way to make her "pop out" from the rest of the family (Marvin notwithstanding). She's mostly purple cuz that's her color, but there's a redish brown in there as well to further tie her to Paul. They come in pairs :))

Speaking of bunnies, Nicholas has a bug net because, well, butterfly theme and whatnot

Now the Hammond siblings got a long story!! At first, Rainer was going to be a human (like the player in animal crossing games) and Mike was going to be a dog. Why a dog? Because of Rainer's speech about their injured dog, that even though it recovered, he still wanted it put down because it had been irreversibly changed. You know the drill. Thing is, Mike is THE dead kid, I wanted him to look small and like a child, so even though the dog fits, I decided on a bear cub. I think that was the right call?

Sooo, Rainer is the dog instead of Mike. I have this headcanon that Rainer's belief system (the A, B and NLM stuff) ALSO extended to himself, in a way. Maybe Rainer is his Daniel B alias... BUT I DIGRESS. He's wearing a shirt with the garalina logo, big fuckinnnn square glasses, and holding a shovel from the Care B description. Originally he was gonna be a rottweiler but I didn't want too many characters with a majorly black color scheme, so I tweaked the color to be brown. I kinda regret that decision now (esp since my Rainer has black hair too) but oh well!! Looks nice enough imo

Marvin was SO FUN to draw. I picked eagle for him because I wanted to keep the silhouette of his face (mostly from the loading screen render) somewhat similar. Big nose and big eyebrows. The fact that his color scheme looks similar to the guardian's was a coincidence at first, but I decided to lean into it and colored his beak/legs to match. Guess he really is the most faithful to his og design, huh?

Lina was mostly just for funsies. I was gonna make her a cat as well to match Care, but then I realized I can do anything I want forever and I wanted to have fun and draw more varied animals so, sheep it is!! She's got her bangs and a pinwheel because there's one in the Party Room and also, windmill reference ☝️

Toneth and Roneth are the bird and the ostrich models respectively. Toneth is holding Randice because they're good friends :) and Roneth is holding the bucket needed to capture him. He's also wearing a raincoat referencing Wavey, who's a raincloud. Toneth wears a black shirt cuz I wanted him to be like, an opposite Rainer so to speak? The green undershirt is there because. I like it :)

They're not here, but Jill would've been a kangaroo while Anna would've been a hen. Idk about uncle Thomas I don't know anything about uncle Thomas. What's he doing ever

Seputar Keringat

Keringat adalah cairan yang dihasilkan oleh kelenjar pada tubuh mamalia. Pada manusia, keringat dihasilkan dari dua kelenjar, yaitu ekrin (sweat glands) dan apokrin (apocrine glands). Kelenjar ekrin berada hampir di seluruh tubuh dan aktif sejak kita masih bayi, sedangkan kelenjar apokrin hanya terdapat pada kelopak mata, saluran telinga, ketiak, areola, sekitar pusar, sekitar kemaluan dan mulai berkembang ketika usia 11-12 tahun. Ada juga yang menambahkan satu kelenjar keringat lainnya yaitu kelenjar minyak (sebaceous glands) yang terdapat di hampir seluruh tubuh dan mulai aktif saat pubertas seperti kelenjar apokrin.

Setiap harinya manusia mengalami kenaikan suhu tubuh, misal setelah banyak bergerak, sesaat setelah makan (pembakaran makanan), saat suhu lingkungan panas dan saat demam. Untuk menurunkan kembali suhu tubuh akibat beberapa faktor tadi, maka kelenjar keringat akan bekerja dengan mengeluarkan air dan garam dari dalam tubuh berupa keringat. Selain karena suhu, keringat juga dapat disebabkan oleh emosi yang sangat kuat yaitu saat panik, takut, syok, dan marah.

Pada dasarnya keringat tidak terlalu berbau menyengat. Bau menyengat yang sering muncul akibat keringat ini adalah hasil kerja keringat yang dikeluarkan kelenjar apokrin yang bertemu dengan bakteri yang menempel pada tubuh kita. Kelenjar apokrin secara spesifik bekerja mengangkut keringat yang mengandung sekresi lemak (steroid) dan protein dari dalam tubuh ke permukaan tubuh. Nah, lemak dan protein inilah yang nantinya bereaksi dengan bakteri yang kemudian menciptakan bau badan. Itulah mengapa bau badan muncul pada manusia dewasa.

Menurut seorang Profesor Biologi dari University of York di Inggris, Daniel Bawdon, mengatakan bahwa sebagian besar bakteri yang menyebabkan bau badan berada di ketiak. Oleh karenanya ketiak menjadi lokasi paling kritis yang dapat menyebabkan bau badan tak sedap dan dapat tercium oleh hidung orang lain. Hal ini menjadi dasar mengapa deodoran menjadi sangat penting bagi setiap orang dewasa.

Deodoran dan Antiperspirant

Fungsi deodoran adalah untuk mencegah bau badan. Pada umumnya, deodoran mengandung triklosan yang bersifat sebagai anti-bakteri, sehingga dapat mencegah pertumbuhan bakteri penyebab bau yang tidak sedap, namun kandungan yang terdapat pada deodoran tidak dapat mengurangi produksi keringat pada tubuh. Dengan kata lain, memakai deodoran bukan berarti tak berkeringat.

Antiperspirant merupakan produk yang diklaim cukup ampuh dalam mengurangi terjadinya keringat berlebih terutama pada area ketiak namun tidak membunuh bakteri penyebab bau badan. Akan tetapi memakai antiperspirant bukan berarti kita tidak akan berkeringat sama sekali lho ya.. Karena pengaplikasian produk biasanya hanya di beberapa spot, maka spot yang tidak teraplikasi oleh antiperspirant akan tetap menghasilkan keringat. Oleh sebab itu, menggunakan antiperspirant saja tidak cukup karena aktivitas bakteri di area lembab pada tubuh kita pada akhirnya akan tetap menghasilkan bau badan.

Ada yang menganjurkan untuk menggunakan kedua produk di atas agar lebih efektif dalam menyelesaikan masalah bau badan. Namun ada juga yang tidak menganjurkan produk antiperspirant karena kandungan bahan yang dapat menyumbat saluran kelenjar keringat dianggap berbahaya dan bersifat karsinogenik meski ada beberapa peneliti yang menyanggahnya.

Pada dasarnya menggunakan deodoran saja sudah cukup. Hal ini karena mengurangi jumlah bakteri dianggap lebih efektif untuk menghindari bau badan dibanding mengurangi jumlah produksi keringat. Akan tetapi akhir-akhir ini kita juga dapat menemukan dengan mudah beberapa produk yang menggabungkan dua fungsi item di atas meski dengan harga yang tentunya lebih mahal.

Nah, moms and dads udah punya deodoran belum nih di rumah? Yuk biasakan badan ga cuma bersih tapi juga setidaknya bebas bau badan biar ga gengges pas kita lagi di tempat umum 😉 (nyv)

i found some random rainer lore in my drafts HI ^}^

- both times he went missing, he was in a dissociative fugue and has very little memory of before and during running off. the first time, he came to while digging in a random field. he couldnt find his car and assumed he was still in connecticut but was, in fact, on the coast in rhode island! nobody has seen him since the second time he walked off. anna is realistically sure that hes dead, but jill remains in denial. its not easy losing both your sons.

- he didnt actually die in the Mark's bathroom, but he almost did. it left him with nerve damage and cognitive issues bc he was deprived of oxygen for a short period if time. not that he didnt already have issues with impulse control and shit but his coordination was fucked. he had to relearn how to properly use a computer again. his quality of life plummeted.

- while he can still see stuff up close, he is legally blind. got them thick ass glasses but even with them not everything is clear. when anna would have him babysit care, she got him that bright green key to make it easier to tell it apart from his own house key.

- on that note, he babysat care quite a bit shortly before and after mike passed away.

- hes also really good with kids. youd think he would come off as kinda unsettling just bc of how flat he can be, but he rly doesnt. part of that is due in part to mike being born while he was in his teens, and babysitting care. when the school was still up and running, marvin pushed to have daniels "petscop kids" program set up there. thats where most of his playtesters came from.

- when marvin hit the dog (who ive named jack lol), he was driving drunk with care in her carseat in the back. when he couldnt get ahold of anna, he would show up to the hammond household trying to talk to her thru jill. it had happened three times by then, but this time he hit the dog and got the car (anna's car) stuck in a snow bank directly in front of them. daniel watched it happen but didnt see care until he went outside. he ended up pulling marvin out of the car and verbally attacking him before shoving him onto the driveway. jill had to pull him off, and both care and mike saw the whole thing. its one of the few times he outwardly expressed any emotion, which is pretty scary knowing hes never been a violent person.

- the other time was shortly before christmas 1997. anna got sick of daniel coming to the house just to try to convince her that care is lina reborn, since a lot of those ideas came from marvins own delusions. she didnt really feel safe with him anywhere near care. he broke into the garage and she was having to hold the door shut while hes just. screaming and slamming against the door sobbing bc he put so much into trying to save her. begging for even just a photo of her. refusing to be cut off after everything he put himself thru.
