I can't believe there are SO many people I know to be Bioware fans and love their storytelling that haven't played SWTOR because it's an MMO. Y'all you can play it completely solo. You can completely ignore everyone else and not play any multiplayer content ever, and still experience the full story. All the actual story content is solo content. I'm begging you.

Anyone have a Pubside guild on the Darth Malgus server that they wouldn't mind a little Sentinel quietly lurking around on and generating an extra 200,000 conquest points for the guild every week when Galactic Seasons are happening?

My inattentiveness is going to kill me one day, I swear.

So, funny story: I ran out of space on main 3 servers to activate or create new characters, and one of my characters (who's quite important to my stories) became unavailable. Since I cannot subscribe at all, I had to think of other ways of solving this (or letting it go bc on large scale it's not that important, but, unfortunately, I'm stubborn for wrong things in life). My best bet would be making a clone of that character on another server where I still have slots, but the species of the character wasn't unlocked there. So I've decided to make a character transfer from DM to Leviathan, since that would unlock all the species I have on Darth Malgus.

The biggest problem was, of course, lack of cartel coins. When this idea came to me I had about 200 CCs, and waiting another 8 months for security key grants would be too long (and tbh I have no idea what life's gonna be in 8 months, it's now almost impossible to predict). The only way to get CCs without waiting was to complete achievements that grant cartel coins, so I started going after those. Took me 2-3 months (I can't tell, time flies like crazy, and I can barely tell if it's been 2 weeks or 6 months anymore), but I had finally reached my goal of 1000 CCs. I've prepared everything I wanted to transfer to the Leviathan, chose a character, and successfully completed the transfer.

As soon as the transfer was complete, I made a copy of the character that this whole thing was done for, and I had to choose appearance by memory, so it ended up a little different from the original version. This is when I started realizing that I did something wrong. First, appearance, then I remembered that one of the outfits for the character wasn't unlocked across the whole account in collections. It wouldn't be a big deal if I could afford to buy it again on gtn (it's far above 1 mil credits) or find something similar looking that's easily obtainable, and it was neither, so another bummer.

And the last thing I only realized today - I could've simply transferred the original character and then activate them on the Leviathan. Yes, I wouldn't be able to bring some cool stuff from Darth Malgus, but I wouldn't have any other problem with that particular character. 2-3 months of long and boring grind for this. Well, on the bright side I can replay characters that aren't human, zabrak or togruta by recreating them on Leviathan.

Oh jeez. I actually have to check-- between the four servers I play around on: 77! that's a nice number. most of that is on Star Forge and Darth Malgus-- 41 and 20 respectively and those are the most active ones. Usually pretty high level, I played waaaay too much before 7.0 and I'm rn getting more back on that now.

Hm. I like a lot of them, by like just sheer amount of characters I have in a class and how many times I finished a class it'd likely be a tie between SI and SW. Hard to decide on a decisive "favorite." But-- All of the Imperial ones-> then Consular, Knight and Smuggler. Sorry Trooper you're last. I blame those quests between story that are just *talk to Garza in Senate Tower. go somewhere. do one thing. talk to Garza again.* drove me crazy.

Hmmmm, I am a big fan of throwing lightsabers around, but most of those jumps to the enemy are very useful. Either Force Leaps for SW/JK, the I think Phantom Strides for JC/SI. Ravage is pretty cool too. There's a lot. I played nearly every discipline at this point, it hard.

Do you play SWTOR on the German server or the EU server? Or both?

I mainly play on Tulak Hord (german server). I also use Darth Malgus (from time to time) and Star Forge (I have two characters on there but I haven't played them yet xD). So it's safe to say that if you catch me playing Swtor, it's on Tulak Hord

Star Wars Day Party and Games Night! - May 1st

Hello everyone! I fancied another get-together, so it’s time again to grab your best outfits and come along for a party and games night. As we know, Star Wars day is on May 4th, however as it is not an internationally-recognised public holiday (yet) and unfortunately something called timezones apparently exist, I’m hosting this the weekend before instead, on Saturday 1st May at 9pm BST (8pm UTC).

This is an event for the Darth Malgus server, however - it is taking place at my Alderaan stronghold and so there is no level requirement at all! So it doesn’t matter even if you make a character on the day to come along with, or if you don’t have a ship yet, I can still invite you over. The stronghold will be on the public board under the name Yalla’ra, and you can also whisper me on that name to get an invite.

To make things easier for me, I am going to ask that you come with Republic characters please, there are some games in store where it’ll make things a bit simpler, possibly with some grouping up needed.

Prancing around in my stronghold has taken up a lot of my time lately (which you might or might not have noticed, in short I can’t shut up). So I have some things in store!

The Mighty Hutt Maze - I’ve been going on about this one for a while, but simply, I have built a maze and the challenge is to reach the Fortune’s Folly Fountain. The only twist is, you will be taking on a rather slow moving disguise...

Scavenger Hunt - There are five pets hidden around the stronghold, and the task is to explore Alderaan’s wonders and tell me their locations. There will be prizes in store as well! (disclaimer: I cannot promise they will be good prizes)

Swoop Racing - This isn’t a game so much as I have built something that vaguely resembles a swoop course up in the mountain retreat, so if anyone fancies showing off their mounts, this is your moment!

Dance Party! - The dance floor is back, along with its questionable bar staff. And what are meet-ups, if there is no dance party (and possible conga reprise) at some point?

Any other suggestions for stronghold games are also very welcome!

would anyone be interested in playing swtor together in the next month? i'm thinking about getting a sub for a couple of reasons but it's kinda expensive and i'm not sure i'll log in every day to play so having someone with me will probably make me do stuff more often.

i'm mostly active on darth malgus but if you don't mind going through the levelling process with me i'll play on any server you want
