R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

this could be so many.

there's cain and arthur, whose problems are more like a traffic jam than a car crash. cains are directed towards arthur, and arthurs towards oz. unrequited insanity, my lady who saved me / my best friend.

cumplane i like in a lot of contexts, but even the simplest "you are the only person who truly understands me in this new world, and i know you better than anyone via our interactions of pouring our hearts out- though i dont even know your first name".

im watching w, so the narumi detective agency gang also sticks out- this truly was our new family glued together by love and loss. i like that theyre all young and trying their best, and despite their problems they complement each other well through all angles.

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

kenzaki, arthur, and akagi aside, because ive talked about them enough...

well, including them, but i like the kind of woman who takes on everything about the narrative and surrounds it from without (the boss). call it haunting the narrative (ayano), schrodingers girls (akane), whatever (monika)... i like ambiguity and liminality (beatrice). i like representations of death and eternity (ariane). i like even more when they overcome the boundaries placed upon them by the world and story and break free (anthy). does this just mean i like yuri? Well, yeah!

i will be watching twin peaks eventually.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending? 

ill put these together- most of mine are identity based... im not the best at coming up with headcanons on my own since i adhere pretty strictly to canon material. id say something that might be called a headcanon is the idea that heathcliff blanchette is inspired by emil sinclair from demian by herman hesse...? though i can make real arguments as to why it may be actually possible. ill stand by it.

i loveeee iftv i found it somewhere in 2020 and it hadn't left me ever since!! it's one of those series that is dear to my heart because it's one of the first instances where i saw the yuri genre openly discussing lgbt topics and it's!!!!!!!!! if youre planning on watching the rest of it please stick to the 2nd/3rd episode at the very least, it has one of my favorite moments that i could analyse over and over (i did in fact do that already for the manga oops-)

[ WRITING QUESTIONS ]

1. What themes would you like to write about that you feel don’t get explored very often?

hmm. i really like writing about the little ways huge things can affect people, i guess?

i write about grief a Lot (like. more than i thought) and i know other people do too, but. i guess it's never really hit the same way that i always see it written? the obvious Big Sad is there, which is the most notable part, but i particularly like writing about the way it changes people, in ways that are both subtle and not. in heartache of july, which basically centers around sara's grief for joe, my favorite parts of it to write were definitely just. the habits she's formed. the way she can't do certain things anymore. she always leaves a note for ryoko if she leaves in the morning. she no longer uses her phone unless its an emergency. she hates quiet moments because all she remembers is quiet moments with joe and laughing doesn't feel the same, not even with ryoko, because there's somebody still missing. and it's so. it drives me insane and i looove putting it into words.

(additionally, on the other side of the scale: i just really like writing details of how characters rub off on each other you know. in warm, like a fire, ranmaru picks up all his teasing from sara & joe, who are constantly teasing one another, even prior to being close with the two... & while i don't discuss it in writing as much, the sonobenos have all exchanged stims from each other agehehe. sara occasionally calls joe buttercup to mess with him, esp because once ryoko called him that before they were close, and he was. insane about it.)

this bit got lengthy but <3 i'm normal about people. trust me

8. Favorite dialogue in your wip?

not between any important characters, but in chapter two of blood on whose hands? (which should be out soon!), joe overhears his classmates poorly whispering about what's going on with him & ryoko + sara. and it's honestly a little funny, if you ignore like. everything wrong here:

“Obviously, there has to be like– some kind of disagreement? Like, it doesn’t make sense for them to be so awkward around each other for no reason. They’ve been like, super close ever since they stepped foot in this building. I think Chidouin and Tazuna are way closer than Hirose is with either of them.” “What? No way. Didn’t Tazuna and Hirose go on a date?” “Yeah. With Chidouin’s help. Maybe it went wrong and now her and Tazuna are mad at each other?” “That doesn’t make sense. If it went wrong, wouldn’t he and Hirose be upset at each other instead? And it doesn’t explain why Chidouin’s attendance just suddenly fell off the chart. Like, I don’t really pay much attention to Tazuna’s, but she has this whole streak to keep up, you know? I’ve seen her come to school with a face mask on instead of taking a sick day.” “Huh. Good point.” His classmate slinks back into her seat. “Then damn, I’m stumped.” “Maybe because it’s none of your business? Not that I’m not intrigued, but you’re way too invested.”

15. What physical quirks do your characters tend to have?

stares. nail biting lip biting CHEEK BITING FOR SURE humming before answering somebody pacing Anndd snapping fingers . and thats all stuff i do eep

27. Do you have playlists for your wip? What are some of the songs in it?

YESS I DO !!! i only have one for blood on whose hands (which i'll put here), because typically i just make playlists for characters & listen to those when i write from their pov - and usually i don't use music anyway because i'm always writing super late and i don't want to go through the hassle of getting headphones anyway.

I would get along with like.. either ryoko or sara i think. im just a strange guy. maybee kai?? but i would just stare at him i think.

ouhhh . maybe. it really depends on what mindset im in at the moment. if i did my wish would be like.. smthing abt my family :)

24 : in YTTS, which fondness events are your favorite?

ohhhh . from my memmory the alice + kai one was really funny. i do need to replay ytts at some point but im so bad at those kinda games

im gona b honest though i dont actually remember finding many pmtok lets plays? at least that i can remember enough to recommend bc i have tge memory of a little bug of some sort </3

my go-to for most games i like is to recommend holly hollowtones vods bc she's always super fun to watch and i enjoyed her pmtok ones a lot! the only catch is holly's vods tend to also be. incredibly long. but if you're okay with that or even just putting em on in the background then holly is really really good. i know vinny vinesauce also played it and i remembered enjoying those vods a lot as well and theyre definitely on the shorter side compared to holly's bc he's not as big on like the collectables and optional exploration/dialogue and stuff but there's really nothing too major story-wise that you'll miss by watching him
