depuis que j'ai vu david et madame hansen j'arrête pas de me dire qu'AA adore les bagnoles. pas spécialement les motos par contre, mais vraiment les grosses bagnoles, genre il a vraiment LA TÊTE DU GARS qui aime trifouiller sous le capot de son land rover et se relever avec les mains pleines de cambouis genre "ah putain j'm'en doutais, c'est les bougies d'allumage qui merdent"

ok so there's no order in this list its just a bunch of movies that make me go maybe Life Is Good. ok here we go

Midnight Run (1988)

absolute DIVINE tier road buddies movie it's so funny and i love the characters so. much. the ending also makes me feel Some Type Of Way every single time and DO NOT get me started on the soundtrack. sometimes i'll just randomly sing the opening and my sister will join and we be just vibing. how do i say,,, this movie makes me feel like Don't Stop Me Now by Queen. here u have it

The Castle In The Sky (1986)

it's that kind of films that i've grown up with and the more time passes, the more emotional i get when i watch it ? because i feel like i understand its essence more and more ? yeah so it just brings me back to when i was a kid and the soundtrack is just stunning. safe place

i've seen it maybe 6 times and it still makes me go thru Every emotion which is why it just FEELS so good to watch it again and again. also my bi ass has a crush on both and sometimes love is all that matters

The Kid (2000)

ok but this one DESERVES its place in this list because. last year there was a period of time where my depression was Really bad for a few months (?) and for some reason this movie that i randomly stumbled upon (i didnt know it before) was the only thing that could make me feel anything so i watched it like. on repeat for maybe two weeks. literally it was the only thing i wanted to watch it's sweet and funny and just simple ? and good ? anyway bruce willis i love u

Pride and Prejudice (2005)

the first time i watched it i 150% believed in love for maybe a week and a half straight and that is Something so it's just. ya know, the movie u go back to when u need to feel like you're in a pink little bubble

Heat (1995)

ok i kind of hesitated to put it there cause it's not exactly the first movie you'll think about for comfort but hear me out. it's just. so good. yes it's 3 hours long but u dont even FEEL them. the characters are so impeccably written, the score is breathtaking and so is the cinematography, the actors are perfect. i guess it's a comfort movie to me because i can get both completely immersed in it and feel blown away by the way it was made. i fundamentally love movies and actors so much and THIS movie is a perfect exemple why

On le connaît comme auteur et réalisateur de la série télévisée Kaamelott, dans laquelle il joue également le rôle du roi de Bretagne. Après la dernière saison en 2009 et la réalisation de son premier long-métrage David et Madame Hansen, Alexandre Astier s'est lancé dans l'écriture de Que ma joie demeure !, un spectacle à la fois virtuose, rigoureux et hilarant créé au Théâtre du Rond-Point, dans lequel il interprète Jean-Sébastien Bach... donnant une master-classe.
