Snippet Sunday!

I haven't really been writing if I'm being honest with everyone. I was on a roll there for awhile with Heavy Metal Lover but unfortunately I fell susceptible from lack of engagement and haven't had a lot of interest in continuing. I know first and foremost I should write for myself but its depressing to yell into a void. Starfield was fun to write for until it wasn't.

So that fic will be on hiatus. If I continue to write it will most likely be for the fic I've been working on for fun or DD2 related content because I've had more ideas in that department.

On top of all of this I've been wanting to draw more which has been enjoyable. It feels more rewarding sometimes to see your ideas manifest in a visual format rather than relying on your words to create the image. So current snippet Sunday under the cut! It'll be my current WIP that I've slowly started coloring already.

The second instance of NG+ pawn making reference to a quest having gone differently. Funny that both of them went differently bc of Allard LMAO. I’m so normal about the desperate sounding little “eh, master?” (personal NG+ Syllie lore ramble bellow.)

Thorne doesn’t exactly remember bc he wasn’t Syl’s pawn in my first playthrough but making references suits the reason he’s here too. He vaguely remembers how quests go, not from his experience beyond the rift it but from Winterheart’s memories. Sometimes it’s clearer because Winnie felt much about a quest, these suit my silly well because Syl dealing with Allard always made her nervous. It confuses him so much that he would say stuff like this hoping Syl is going through the same thing, or could at least explain it. NG+ Sylvas feels a sense of familiarity and a drive towards what he should rightly do next, but he doesn’t remember so he never catches Thorne’s attempts lol. That sense kind of drove him to helping Wilhelmina because Allard kept giving OG Syl trouble, but sometimes he has a sense of something going a certain way and he ignores it and you get a bad end to a quest OG Syl did right (bc I love exploring different ending I expect something better every time LMAO.)
