it was good. it was salty. it was pointed. nhs nad wn and wwx were all ganging up on each other's sore spots and all of them were right and all of them were being deeply fucking unfair

For the most stunning act of bravery, class, integrity, and speaking truth to power that has graced the USA in far too long.

Not a single shake in her voice as she spoke directly to one of the most vengeful, spiteful, and (unfortunately) powerful people on the planet, while also receiving glares of hate and outrage from the despicable VP and his wife.

It's not the first time she's stood up for what is right in defiance of trump's actions, but while many may speak out on it, there have been scarcely any with the backbone to follow through on the opportunity to do it to his face, and especially on live television. She had her moment, and she didn't waste it.

May she be the inspiration we all take forward with us into the turbulent times ahead.

Abby potentially could have OCD. Hear me out. It's not because 'she's organized'. It's because I'm fairly sure Abby has some form of anxiety, and the way it expresses itself in her life appears to be rigid behavior patterns. Now, there's not enough evidence to be any kind of certain, but enough to give me pause.

Abby can be extremely obsessive. We know that. She spent 4 years anxiously and obsessively dedicating as much time to preparing to kill Joel as possible. Her revenge isn't just different from Ellie's because it took longer, but because Ellie, for all her rage, wouldn't have spent those four years never missing a single day of training and getting as Jacked as possible.

Abby's mind convinced her that Joel was some kind of almost superhuman monster that only a beast of a person could take down. And missing a single day of training could ruin her efforts, or maybe even get them kicked out of the WLF. Spending any kind of significant time not thinking about her dad and revenge left her feeling guilty and wrong.

She also does seem weirdly particular about her room set up: not caring about the dishes, and yet having to have other things exactly in their place, looking for all the world, the perfect soldier. She doesn't just not miss a day of training, she has a whole schedule she likely spent a lot of time obessively creating and never wavers from.

But Yara, that's just discipline.

True, it very well could be. But Abby is shown to be much more anxious than any of the other person in her life, in a number of ways. And sure, it could be that she is surrounded by a bunch of reckless people, but that just might be making it more noticeable. And I'm not just talking about her fear of heights. There are multiple moments with her dad, where she tries to talk him out of doing things she considers dangerous. Flashback Owen's actions scare her. Mel's actions scare her. Manny is absolutely less anxious than her point blank, as is Lev.

We've seen how well Abby functions through horrific fear, so the idea that she has many more problems with anxious, intrusive thoughts than she lets on? Not so crazy. Anxiety doesn't completely paralyze Abby, but that doesn't mean it doesn't impact her life in significant ways.

anyway deadset/ghost NHS should stop talking about how he's an unfeeling creature due to be being dead that cannot care, cannot love, and does not belong.

My preferred take on the Alice-armand thing is that Alice is in-fact Daniel’s real ex-wife, it’s just that his mind started conflating details from memories with armand with those from memories of her that had similar emotional impact on him when he got his psychic lobotomy because

1. As much of a deadbeat as Daniel may be I do think he would notice if his ex wife and daughter vanished from existence (and armand finding a fake wife and daughter is slightly ridiculous to me I am not going to lie, sorry)

2. I just think it would be really funny if Daniel occasionally brought up insane shit that Armand did thinking it was Alice and she was just like “I did NOT fucking do that” and they both just kind of think either that the other is trying to gaslight them or that the drugs were REALLY starting to get to Daniel.

how would utahime react if she heard a rumor reader liked gojo (or someone she just hates)? it's a totally baseless rumor, of course, but utahime just realized she has a crush on reader and reader has admitted she likes women, so it is obviously false. (also why would someone like reader even like gojo? has anyone seen him? he's dumb and stupid and an asshole and—)

i fear,,,you would be in for a rough time 💔 it would also take shoko ripping that information out of her before utahime admitted she was even vaguely fond of you let alone had a crush 😭

i think with meangirl! utahime's conflicted feelings about you, she would be jealous at the thought of you liking anyone, even shoko or yuki, but that envy is just accompanied with other negative thoughts. yeah, she'd feel jealous (and also disrespected) at the idea of you having a crush on shoko, but also disgusted because obviously you're not good enough for her girlfriend. rinse and repeat with yuki only replace disgust with probably just more jealousy. what do you like yuki for?why not utahime herself ?? i mean she doesn't like you or need your damn affections but still...

she'd also definitely use the rumor as an excuse to torment you more. she ropes shoko and yuki into it, too. neither of them give a damn whether the rumor is true, yuki outright knows it isn't but c'mon, it's an excuse to pound you senseless so why not?

if it was gojo, the thought of you liking him makes utahime fucking sick. she wouldn't even listen to you reminding her that you like women and even if you didn't, gojo isn't really your type. straight through one ear and out the other. expect some firm slaps to the face while utahime pins you down and straddles you and sinkher nails into your cheeks until your lips pucker because behind all that jealousy she's like "really?? of all men, you'd choose gojo??? he's not even straight" (whether or not that's true you don't know but he's very publicly homoerotic with suguru so...maybe?)
