Sam is a badass….

I think so many people overlook Sam’s badass side, lets not forget Sam:

Took control from the devil himself.

Overpowered Demon Dean and was able to cure him.

His heroic action in Red meat episode, he was in injured almost dying, still he managed to kill the monsters by himself and drive back to the hospital.

He lead a team of hunters the fight against BMOL.

I dislike that people use his relationship with Dean as prove that he cant make decisions or take charge. The fact that Sam loves and respects his big brother, doesn’t mean he is weak or lack strength in anyways.

After Sam left, and Baby was Dean's, he ran his fingers over this carving every chance he got. Whenever he slept in Baby, he would sleep with one hand over touching it, remembering how close he and Sam were before.

It took him days to accept that Sam was really gone, weeks to accept he wasn't coming back, and months to accept that it was better that way.

Their dad was right, if Sam was out then Dean couldn't risk keeping in contact, couldn't visit or talk to his brother. It would only put a target on his back.

But Baby didn't feel like home, not anymore. Not when there was noone there to roll their eyes when Dean put on Zeppelin, or to insist he eat something green once in a while, or to snore safe and sound in the passenger seat on a cross country drive. Dean would never admit it, but he kept one of Sam's dumb Celine Dion cassette tapes in his duffle and after Sam had been gone two weeks dean knew it by heart just in case Sam changed his mind.

After 6 months, Dean accepted he would never see his Sam ever again. He got blind drunk, and got Sam's initials tattooed on his hip, as a mark of ownership (because the first thing that defined who he was as a person was Sam so he would always be first and foremost Sam's), as a reminder of why he has to keep hunting/living/fighting (Sammy never wanted this life), and as a reminder that everyone will leave. He sobered up and realised what he'd done, and it was the first time he felt peace since Sam left.

Most one night stands didn't care about the initials - why would they? But Cassie did, and her stubborn drive to know and inability to leave it alone pushed him past all the feelings of pain/failure/loss/despair and for the first time he was able to talk about his Sam without being three sheets to the wind. He talked about his Sammy, and sobbed because he failed/lost/can't protect his Sammy, but never specified who that was. She thought it was his only true love, someone who has died.

When he told her about the hunting the next day, she thought he was trying to find an excuse to leave because he'd been vulnerable, when in reality, he had already told her the most important part of his existence, so why hide anything else?

But when he came back and introduced his brother Sam, his Sammy? She knew she never had a claim on any part of Dean Winchester. Because he was already claimed in every way.

Maybe Im just a bad person, but I freaking love stories where Sam and Dean are together but also very clearly brothers. Where they play childish pranks and then kiss. Where they wrestle and give each other noogies and then cuddle. Where they have amazing sex but then bicker and pester each other. I love when stories explore how they gain a boyfriends dynamic without losing their brothers dynamic.

Why This Punch Made me uncomfortable!?

Out of all the physical altercation Sam & Dean had through 15 seasons, this one made me the most uncomfortable.

Sam was in the worst mental state ever, he is seeing hallucinations, cant tell the difference between reality and hallucinations, almost got him and Dean killed.He took off, left a note for Dean, and stopped answering his phone” which honestly all things considered made sense, he wanted to handle this situation on his own”

Dean is freaking out, calls Bobby. Bobby tells him if Sam says he is okay, then Dean should give it a couple of days.

And here i have to say, i really miss Bobby being the voice of reason and common sense for Dean. Granted that Dean never listens, but still it’s good to see him kinda taking Sam side.

Dean finds Sam, and based on the way Sam he fell after punch, i think the scene was meant to be a comedy, but i really don’t find anything funny about punching someone with Sam state of mind.

Dean is angry, tells Sam “ New rule, you steal my baby, you get punched”. We are supposed to feel for Dean worry here ? When people say Dean is more than sibling, he is a parent for Sam, since when do parents track down adults kids and punch them in the face when they find them .. !!!

What did punching Sam serve here? Its really gets old saying Dean doesn’t know how to deal with his emotions, sometimes we have to admit, this is was 100% wrong and uncalled for.

May be controversial opinion but Dean and Sam should have died together in the barn. It should have been one last hunt that got them both killed. Don’t make one suffer without the other

The reason that Sam and Dean almost exclusively date long term when the other isn't there is anyone who sees the two of them practically radiating codependancy like the steam from a sulpheric hot pool gets the sudden feeling that if it was ever a choice between someone else and their brother, that someone would be left to die with only a spare moment of guilt and indecision. Everyone around them knows that the whole world and all of reality plays second fiddle to the brother. It's only when one of them is alone, left bereft without his compass that people can tell themselves it's just normal grief and that they are number 1 in his life. Until said brother comes back into their life and like the absolute wrecking ball the two of them are, their lover is left reeling and alone. You have no chance of being chosen over the brother. No chance of holding his gaze when the other is there. If your smart, you stay away from the Winchesters and let them spiral around each other like 2 stars pulled into a black hole. And you pray that it's never a choice between your life and Sam or Deans because they will throw you off a bridge before letting a hair on their brothers head be harmed.
