hey lucifer anon here again, just wanted to drop by and say i finished season 6 and oh my goDDDDDDD. i would love to hear ur thoughts and feelings if u have any

beloved lucifer anon, i finally finished the series (!!!) and i have the most Thoughts & Feelings. i laughed, i cried, i screamed, i cried some more. it’s been a while since my last true spiral, and god, it's exhilarating. i’d never written a meta spec piece before, and after 5b aired, i was less certain about godadiel—sorry, amenagod. but the show wasn’t over yet and i held onto hope, all the while reluctantly letting myself get used to the idea of lucifer ascending to godhood. i was hanging by a thread through s6 up to those moments when lucifer and amenadiel have their huge revelations. i lost my shit when lucifer admits he doesn’t want to be god; i had to keep myself from screaming “I KNEW IT” after amenadiel says he's going to be god (almost waking up everyone in my house at 3am -- a theme for me this season that was kicked off by the reveal of who rory is !!!!!).

anon, i was flying high, i was chomping at the bit, i was feral. this season has left me with brainworms for days, confirming so many wild theories (#1 dad mug, i’m looking at you, motherfucker), and making me think back to all the seeds that were planted and now harvested, and of course leaving me melting into the floor from all the deckerstar love. (i think the only thing i was truly unprepared for was "welcome to the black parade" playing at the end djsldjsl my emo heart was NOT ready for that!!!)

i really want to delve more into my Thots(tm) about this season and the arcs as a whole, but with my brainworms raving it up, anything i do will just be me going !!!!! at everything. for right now, i’m just going to soak in the show gently kissing me on the head and giving me such good fucking food. the glass i'm chewing is delicious.

after a rough case, Chloe, finds herself at Lux

Chloe Decker x Lucifer

The music was loud and the Lux was full of people that just simply wanted to shake away the week’s worries. Entering the room Lucifer smiles when he sees so many people just enjoying themselves, but he still feels some kind of tension in his heart, still thinking about the last case and the effect that it had on the detective. So naturally, trying to distract her, he invites her to his club, receiving a promise to think about it, still more than nothing, Lucifer thinks.

Sitting at the balcony in the club, he’s scanning the crowd, hopefully searching for a certain blonde woman. Spending almost a half hour like that, Lucifer lost his hope, after all it was a hard day, Detective probably just enjoys a silent evening with her daughter. Looking down at his whiskey, he missed the entrance of Chloe Decker, who instantly noticed him in all his grace.

Chloe had doubts all afternoon, should she take Lucifer’s invitation or should she just stay home, she’s really tired and maybe going to bed earlier would make her feel better.

It doesn’t, the dead eyes of the last victim are still burning in her mind, the memory of the violet mark around their neck makes her sigh. She does a great job separating her civil life from her detective one, but today she failed to do so.

Opening her eyes, Chloe, stands up from her bed, heading towards her closet to get ready for the club. She chooses a simple red dress, hoping that the bright light and loud music will erase her memories, at least for one evening.

While drinking from his glass Lucifer feels her presence, he always does. His already present smile grew even bigger, raising his eyes ready to greet her, Lucifer gets mesmerized by his Detective, his Chloe. She’s really here looking breathtaking while dressing in red, wasn’t it his iconic color?

“Detective!” he screamed while heading toward her “You’re here!”

“Hi Lucifer, sorry that I come so late”

“No complaints, I’m really glad that you came”

They stayed silent for a few minutes, enjoying their drink, the music and each other’s company.

“You look sad” the awareness of the reality returned to Lucifer while he was studying Chloe’s face with his eyes corners.

“Is just, this case was a little too much, I guess.” She said, sounding unsure with her answer, drinking the remaining liquor from her glass.

Understanding washed other Lucifer’s face, she always cares for people so much. So, who among them are a real angel?

“I’m sorry” he’s sincere, Chloe can see it on his face, turning around, he spots a waitress “But there’s nothing that a good amount of alcohol can’t fix”

He offers his hand to Chloe, ignoring the goosebumps that spread from her touch to his whole body.

Then they drink, a lot. Surprisingly, Lucifer was feeling the stronger effect of the alcohol on his head, than anytime that she’s not around, not that he doesn’t like it.

For Chloe the days after hard and painful cases were spent in the quietness of her apartment, sometimes with a bottle of wine if Trixie wasn't home, during this time she was feeling even lonelier than ever. Today she spends her time by having fun, that was a foreign thing for her at the start, but after a few shots she was feeling more comfortable.

Sitting back on one of the sofa’s, followed by Lucifer, already drunk Chloe was feeling better that she felt in months.

“Thank you for inviting me Lucifer, turned out I really needed some stress relief”

“I know other methods of stress relieving, nicer than dancing” he rises his brows suggestive and Chloe burst out laughing.

They just stay here, sinking further into the sofa, trying to regain their breath, enjoying their almost perfect night. Chloe’s head slowly rests on Lucifer’s shoulder, stealing from him a few breaths, why does that woman have such strong effect on him again?

“Do you want to go home?” he asks when he noticed the way her eyes are closing.

“Yeah, I think it’s time”

They rise. Lucifer was ready to head off to the stairs, when Chloe stops him.

“What about one last dance?” she asks so genuinely, that once again, a familiar warm wash over his heart, this’s always happening when Chloe is beside him.

“That’s a good idea!” he said while turning to the DJ to tell him to put something more calm and smooth.

Returning to Chloe he deliberately whispers his question in her ear, standing behind her.

“Care to dance with the devil?”

Facing him she smiles, offering her hand to him and Lucifer takes it grateful, he still feels more drunk than he ever was before, but one look at her and he can say that they’re even.

An arm around her waist would wake up Chloe in any other cases, but that’s Lucifer’s hand, so therefore she felt dizzier. His arms are strong, but also very gentle, she feels so protected in Lucifer’s hands. Coming impossibly closer to each other, Chloe holds Lucifer’s shoulders, while softly leading the dance. They share a tender dance while the lights were off, making the moment even more intimate that it was already. Lucifer could feel the warm skin under the Chloe’s thin dress, it makes him holding her even more desperate, trying to remember it all.

While dancing they didn’t share a line, they were too lost in this new sensation, feeling so full, as if before this moment something was missing in their life. They moment wasn’t ruined by any dancing pairs, actually, they didn’t even bump into anyone, probably because people took the slow song as a time out for making out in the corners.

The song comes to an end and the lights were on again, but neither Chloe or Lucifer moved from the dance floor that was full with people again. Their moment was over when a dance song sounded loudly through the Lux, smiling at Chloe, Lucifer, guide her toward the elevator.

“Thought that since we both drunk, we can call a taxi for you” he said as soon as the music was blocked by the elevator’s door.

“Thank you Lucifer”

“You’re very welcome, Chloe” his usual smile makes her own smile arise on her face, no matter what would happen in her live she always will have him. “You know” he said, turning towards his balcony “You can stay here, if you want to” he turns around to her “Promise I wouldn’t do anything naughty”

“Yes, I mean, I would like to, my mother took a trip with Trixie, and I…” she takes a few breaths before talking, feeling so tired and lightheaded “And I’m not fit to stay alone right now” it felt like a confession, like she just said her biggest secret, an unpleasant wave of vulnerably that she felt scared her.

“It’s alright Chloe, you still have me”

I first fell in love with Chloe Decker in season 1 episode 1. I didn't admit it until later and it only grew as the series progressed. But I think what truly did it for me where I just knew there was no going back, that I would always love her, was in S3 E15 "High School Poppycock".

She stayed up all night reading Class 3001 without even realizing how much time has passed until her daughter told her it was morning. Then she's getting all excited at the highschool reunion, ready to meet the characters, not question them. And tHAT LITTLE JOG RUN HAS MY HEART DOING BACKFLIPS

I just know she's perfect for me.
