30 - What reminds you of Home?

Theres this specific spot by the river I like to go at. I call it the little hole bc the entrance it literally a gap between trees and its like oh wow much nature and around april/may the tides are either low or very high there is no in between. I like skipping from rock to rock. Feels nice.

24- What's something you do to de-stress?

Well. There are many options. Theres [censored], drawing dicc, doodling in general, music, watching videos of people roasting influencers, watching sims build videos, go to the little hole, etc

25- What's the best personal gift someone could give you?

Um. I really don't know. Something really simple. the simple concept that someone else thought of me is enough.

17- Fairy lights or LED lights?

LED. Terrible for eyes and skin (after long exposition), very good for aesthetic. Bladerunner vibes, ya feel me? XD

Oh fuck that's hard. hmm. I don't really um. Know? I'm gonna need some help here.

4- What flower would you like to be given?

Red hibiscus. Reminds me of my home country. Also for some reason wanganegès (birb) like them - at least the ones we had when I was a kid. (How the FUCK do you call these birds in english???? Help)

However you can never go wrong with white roses. chances are I'll cry bc emotions.

Whatever book I’m reading, a white noise machine, a water bottle, my knitting basket, and probably one of the cats.

five of my favorite things...

Apple cider (the non-alcoholic kind), chocolate, baby animals, the smell of fresh laundry, and my dog.

five of my habits...

Biting my nails, checking my phone right when I wake up, writing reminders on sticky notes, wearing my hair up, and forgetting things that someone said to me less than ten minutes ago.

five things about my personality or traits that I like...

- My creativity. Sometimes I sit down and look at all of my documents for my DnD campaign and just wonder how that all came out of my brain. 

- Empathy. I’ve always been proud of my desire to see both sides of a situation, even if I don’t necessarily agree with it.

- Kindness. I’ve seriously made it my mission to kill rude people at work with kindness. Being rude back won’t make them think about what they’ve done, only justify it. I want to plant seeds of doubt by being kind when I don’t have to be.

- Organizational skills. I cannot function if my space or life is a mess (see also: my current state of anxiety because my house is a mess). I take pride in a clean, well organized space. 

- Gentleness. When I left my job at the animal shelter, my boss wrote me a really sweet letter about how my gentleness is what made me so good at my job, and nobody could do such a great job without it. In a profession that can turn people hard so quickly, it was always my goal to stay soft.

five things I want for this year...

- To travel more, if the pandemic allows. My mom and I have a tentative plan to go to New England for a week this summer, and I would really like for that to not fall through.

- To take keyboard lessons. Again, on my list for last year, but it all fell through.

- To maybe actually keep a physical planner for more than two weeks.

- I would LOVE to get a second dog by the end of the year.

- To my make new house my own and actually feel settled.

Favorite color: Also green! There’s a shade for everything! Bright lime in Summer, jade in Fall, forest green in Winter for Christmas, and mint in Spring! Yellow is also very good.

Last song I listened to: Ladyworld by TWRP (Tupper Ware Remix Party)

Favorite musician: I don’t really know, I go through moods in my music taste a lot. Right now it’s probably King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard or maybe I Don’t Know How But They Found Me. They’re releasing a new album in October and I am exciteddeded.

Last movie I watched: I don’t watch a ton of movies either, but I have been watching all the Marvel movies in order since I’ve seen only a few. They’re a fun time, but the villains are all pretty one note so far.

Last TV show I watched: Infinity Train Book 3 baby! It’s made me cry very hard and I’m dying to see the final two episodes.

Favorite Character: I don’t think I can pick one out of, all of media. But, Scorpia from She-Ra 2018 is up there. If I thought about it more I could probably think of some that I could write whole essays about.

Sweet, spicy, or savoy: Sweet most of the time, but I can get hit by a craving for some Savory every now and again.

Sparkling water, tea, or coffee: Sparkling water I guess, not sure why it’s with tea and coffee tho. I love iced coffee and iced tea, but I shouldn’t drink them with my new medication. 

Pets: I have my lil’ crested gecko Sunny! She has 0 brain cells, she often eats dirt, and I do not know how to interact with her. But, I still want to give her the world.

Cats or Dogs: BOTH! I love them both for different reasons. I like how independent cats tend to be, but I love how involved caring for dogs is. It’s like living with another adult vs. living with a toddler.

Favorite Animal: Hedgehogs (otters are a very close second)

When I Made this Blog: I think it was May of last year? I made my first blog way back in like 2011, but I left for a while to try and recover from the mental health issues it instilled in me. 

Reason for URL: I really love bees. I actually have a bee tattoo! Plant gardens and care for your local bees, people!
