Sometimes you have to draw your own cringe failwoman oc's, bc nobody else is going to do it for you <3 (Leeta on the right belongs to @les-bionic-titan)

I’ve recently become more interested about the Vorta. So I made an OC. His name is Litten, and he’s based after the Dominion War. I love him so dearly and thought I would share some art of him <3
(Sharing a lighted one and a detailed one. Don’t mention the chair,,, I know, but don’t look at it)

Make a Star Trek OC with me!
How It Works: The first person to reply to this post decides which humanoid species the OC will be, then the next person decides which department/division they belong to, etc etc!
I’ve done “Make an OC With Me” before, but the prompts focused heavily on physical appearance and so the designs always turned out pretty eclectic for my tastes! With this, my intent is to create a character who could actually translate into an episode of Star Trek! I tried to think of ways that the personalities of actual Star Trek characters have been demonstrated on the shows. I figure the design will follow!
(If anyone wishes to repost this and try it out for themselves, you have my permission as long as you credit/tag me! ☺️💛✨)

hee hoo, the star trek onslaught begins!
This is Aela, a Stryghan special operative under the Dominion. He is one of the last of his species after his planet was conquered and then destroyed by the Dominion - he’s kept as a glorified attack dog by Weyoun as an example to other Dominion citizens.
Despite being on Ketracel-White like the Jem’Hadar, Aela was not genetically engineered to depend on it - something he only discovers after defecting to the Cardassian side. With Federation aid under capture, Aela is rehabilitated to live without the compound, although he soon returns to Gul Dukat’s side in his quest destroy the Dominion by any means necessary.
Aela probably spends a lot of time bouncing between sides depending on what serves him best. Growing up under various Weyoun iterations certainly did a number on his moral compass, and Dukat’s decidedly treacherous means of getting what he wants doesn’t help much either. I don’t have many villain OCs so Aela would be fun to explore as a sympathetic antagonist, maybe going so far as to side with the Federation briefly when Cardassia and the Dominion side with each other
The Stryghans are my own little species - they’re very much the foil to the Bajorans in what happened with the Cardassian occupation, but unlike them, Strygha didn’t survive the Dominion and their rebellion resulted in their destruction. Their culture is very heavily inspired by Edo period Japan, and Aela is very much the wandering ronin looking for a place to belong 👀

DS9 oc - Security Officer Bapillia (Bap)
DS9 was my first (and favourite series). I wasn't familiar with the world of Star Trek yet, so I took the easy way and made up an entire alien species from beyond the wormhole.
Basically Bap was part of a group who held him in capitalistic indentured servitude as a transport pilot. He made a break for it, jacking a shuttle and heading through the wormhole. He came aboard DS9 shortly after the emancipation and joined the station's security team.
He has an innate psychic ability which allows him to sense the presence of other people and what they're feeling, almost like a Betazoid, but not their thoughts. It helps him investigate little mysteries aboard the ship.
He's very quiet, compassionate and soft - to the point where many people don't believe his story of escape. But there is a deep grim determination within this little alien that makes him bite down on the bit until the end.
There's a whole subplot with Weyoun, a romance to platonic thing with Bashir, and a father figure vibe with Odo, there's too many stories for me to remember. But I love him.
IF ANYONE ELSE HAS DEEP SPACE NINE OCS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHOW ME
