Do-Over-December 4th. Mayor Buckman X AFAB! Reader.

Here we are! The second entry into Do-Over-Decemeber, an event I am doing where I re-work and jazz up my Kinky December fics from back in 2020. This is actually the first and only Mayor Buckman fic I’ve ever written, I should come back to him sometime, revisiting him here was so nice. It was terribly, painfully cliché’, something out of a tawdry couple dollar paperback, the kinda that you find abandoned on a sandy beach left behind by some bored housewife who couldn’t be bothered to stuff it back in her bag in between wrangling her kids. 

But how cliché’ was it exactly? 

Let's set the scene and you can judge. 

You were out with Buckman, or as you sometimes affectionately referred to him, Bucky, taking a walk after dinner. 

You were hand in hand, talking casually, a leisurely stroll and so needed. He was always very busy, being mayor of course did come with a lot of responsibility. He took his job very seriously as well, so whenever you did get time just the two of you, uninterrupted, it was lovely.

Or it was until mother nature herself decided to piss on your good time. 

The heavy rain wasn’t anticipated and had surprised you both, the downpour sent you running back to your shared home, still holding each other’s hands, laughing along the way. Once safely inside you weren’t laughing as much anymore, your clothes had soaked through, the sun was down, the chill was setting in leaving you shivering, dripping wet and desperate to warm up.

He closed the front door and was coming forward as he said, “Awe, darlin’ you’re shakin’ like a leaf.”

You nod once, hands rubbing together for warmth as you say, “S’ so cold.”

He was very close to you now, and he reached out, his hands cradled your face, thumbs stroking over your cheeks as he said, “I can fix that.”

And that is how it went. He undressed you so carefully and with a particular reverence that was impossible to ignore, he was not dragging it out necessarily, you were freezing and uncomfortable after all, but he certainly wasn’t rushing either. Peeling pieces of soaked fabric from your shaking form, and you feel yourself wanting to shy away, why was this getting to you so badly? It wasn’t like he hadn’t seen you like this before, he had, and furthermore in far worse positions than this, but there was something so startlingly intimate about this tonight. 

Maybe the location had something to do with it too? Out in the living room, but again he had you in here before, and in the kitchen and the stables and-well it wasn’t important, but again you had done all manner of filth in all manner of places, why tonight?

Why now?

It flustered you even worse to be in front of him in just your underwear, and you had no idea why, you just felt extremely vulnerable. He took notice, hands on your waist, pausing stripping you as he looked into your eyes, a slight chuckle before asking, “Awfully shy tonight, what’s the matter?”

You laughed a little yourself, hands covering his as you responded, not really sure how to answer, but you force out, "I-uh I don’t know to be honest.”

You decided to try and get over your sudden nerves, you were being ridiculous, you force through and leaned up, kissing him, it starts easy, slow, a soft brush of your lips against his, and he returned it easily. His hands moved, and yours fell away as you allowed them as he pulled the last of your damp clothing from you. He moved away first, seemingly reluctantly, and before you knew it you were wrapped in a soft blanket you weren’t sure how he had gotten, but it felt so nice against your skin that you didn’t think to question it.

You mused that this was so nice that you really didn’t mind getting caught out in the rain. He had gotten the fire in the living room fireplace burning and took care of his own wet clothing, and you were both sitting by the fire to warm up. Large blanket around the two of you, enjoying the comfortable silence and leaning on each other, it felt so right being here with him.

Who initiated it didn’t matter.

A gentle kiss that quickly grew hotter, needier and much more hungry, the intent behind it is obvious. Hands on each other quickly make their own points of contact, your hand on his shoulder to start, and it slid down to his chest and one of his hands at the same time is going down your back to the curve of your ass and on it goes. Both of you are reaching out for more, both desperate for each other, wanting to touch more and more, greedy, and the thought passes through your mind that this might be the best way to warm up. 

That blanket was pulled from around you and laid down, and you fell onto your back, legs and arms open, and soon he was on top of you, his mouth on your neck, kisses littered over your exposed throat and down over your collarbones and shoulders, and you luxuriated in his ample affection along with the satisfied hums he let out.

Your breathing had picked up as he touched you, slowly but with even pressure and his mouth paused, looking up at you with that damn smile of his that you are pretty sure made you fall in love with him in the first place as he said, “So what if I did? Ain’tcha warmer now sweetheart?”

You rolled your eyes, it’s affectionate, the smile breaks out wider on your face, unable to help it, until his fingers pushed inside of you and that pulled a moan from you. The sharp rise in pleasure made your smile falter, and in turn made his brighter. Again he didn’t rush per se, but he was far too good at getting you riled up, and soon you were practically begging for it and being such an obliging southern gentleman as he was, of course he gave you what you wanted.

You are underneath him, thighs on either side of his hips, your hands on his shoulders as he slid inside of you. 

An arch of your back and a shared moan, you are overtaken with it and God that first moment he is inside was always something special, wasn’t it? It took your breath away for a second before he really started.

It started so quietly, just heavy breathing, light skin on skin, crackling of the fire, but when you adjusted your hips just so to get more friction on your clit, you couldn’t stop yourself from getting louder. Gripping him harder, panting and chanting his name like a prayer, encouraging him and begging that he didn’t stop, and why would he?

This is what he loved, you like this, just totally sweet and needy, all for him.

You looked perfect, sprawled out below him on the blanket, soft light and heat of the fire, moaning and shivering, your walls hugging him deliciously. The sheer sight of you was almost too much, he couldn’t keep looking at you and hold his composure, so he pulled closer, one hand on your waist and the other gripping the blanket by your head. His face was buried in the crook of your neck and fuck, you were so close, and he wasn’t being quiet himself either at this point. He sounded too good, strained and feeling just as good as you were and right in your ear you heard from him, “So beautiful, c’mon I want to feel it-”

And you needed no more encouragement than that as you clung to him, reaching your end with another cry of his name. Dear God what bliss, you felt like absolute perfection wrapped around him and as you were still coming down, aftershocks of your orgasm running through you that you realized he was almost there too. You begged again, still holding so close as you pleaded, “Please-Buck, please!”

Once more obliging as ever he finished as well, he never did anything other than cum inside of you, it was the only option, you never wanted it anywhere else.

Summer obviously is adopted, left outside the door of Casey's apartment. Funny enough when Raph and Casey were dealing with their baby fever at its worse. An angel finally answering them and giving them Summer. Summer truly has no normal set of parents. Two Dad's that have shared different ways of fighting. Raph how to throw a punch right so she don't break her thumb and Casey taught her how to swing a hockey stick not only to hit a puck right but slam into someones gut to knock the wind out of them. Summer is a full on tomboy herself. She knows hockey stats better than math equations so it's a good thing she got some smart family members as well. Summer is closer to Casey but that because he's able to do more with and for her. Casey the one she looks up to and wants to be like when she gets older. To her Casey is this guy who cares a lot about others and will do anything to help his family. He may not do it the best way but his heart is in the right place. It's way anything thing she could do that may disappoint Casey hurts her most. And why she fears doing that in the first place despite it not being possible to happen at all. Raph is deff her biggest support if she can't go to Casey right away it Raph she goes to and talks with. Raph often has to reassure her worries. And it's kind of why she doesn't fear saying the things she might even if it comes out wrong. She got Raph's bluntness and Casey I don't know when to shut my mouth mixed together. Not to mention shes a idiot like the pair of them. She may be hell on wheels but Casey and Raph both know their daughter well and how to be there for her and Summer knows that too. Even if she has fear losing her family before she knows shes could never really lose them or do anything to make them stop loving her its the irrational fear of a child. But Summer really can say her Dad are more than parents they are her best friends she can pal around with them but she has learned to sort of try and watch after them herself. She gets on them both for smoking and limits their drinking to at least one can. If they gonan listen to anyone it's thier baby girl.

"Oh Ari! Well we aren't technically sisters but she's my sister and I dint care 'bout facts anyway. Why I don't know many outside hockey and other sports. Ari a bit older than me but she don't act it like at all. She's my best friend as well. She kind of hurts my feelings cause she's always on and on about how she the only one in her situation so she bottles all that shit up. And even shuts me out. But she's the one I tell everything first even about Hun. I dunno why she feels she can' or that I won't get it. Feels...kind of shitty. I try to be there despite all 'hat shit though. Cause we're cousins but we're more than thar we're sisters. Pops tells me 'bout how he and unca Donnie got this twin sense an' I wish we had it maybe I could help her more if we did ya know? She still my favorite person despite it all. I lpve hanging out with her even if I gotta watch the little mermaid all the time with her. Being with her just makes things better."

Summer and Ariel may be cousins but they might as well be sisters. I tend to forget but I think Ariel is possible a month older than Summer if not just a few weeks. They are seen as the next twins of the family and are just as close as Raph and Donnie. Two peas in a pod. Summer never not seen Ariel as a mutant she's just her sister. So she can be blind to Ariel's own hang ups and issues much like Ariel is with Summers. But Summer will always be there for her sister, to hang out or tell her when she is being dumb never above using her hockey stick to knock some sense into her sister.

"I got my grandma and my gramps. Grandma is a tought lady who don' take shit from no body. An' she always tells me not to take shit for no body either. I visited her a lot before she passed away. Grandma was always nice to me grand kid privilege I guess funny watchin' her boss Dad around though. I miss her lots but I don't think it hurt me like it did Dad he got real weird when she passed on. Gramps also the same he more strict with my pop's and uncles than with me and Ari. We always got treats from him growing up. He tried teachin' me to mediate and such but I always napped instead. Pop's and Dad never liked that I was more an angel with gramps. But it's grampa course I am."

Summer has a grandparent from each side. Her grandma from Casey and Splinter aka Gramp's from Raph. Summer for sure is spoiled by both. I feel like she often visited with her grandma even without Casey around. She just loved her a lot, being a kid who was bullied for be well different a strong women who took shit from no one was a strong role model for summer. Splinter also can't tell me other wise isn't a grandparent who would spoil. Seeing how I think Splinter never once thought he might have grandkids himself. He love his son so much so you know grandkids would be just as loved. He takes to being grandpa right away I like to think he was first to hold Summer as well like he was with Ari. And he cried each time he loves them so much and he still dots on them and gives them treats no matter how big they get.

Summer may not have a lot of friends but she makes up for it with family. Because she sure has a lot. She has two aunts and three uncles. April I feel is always helpful for things needed like getting pads and bras when summer has to start wearing them. She is closer to Von as she mentioned she sees her as a mother figure in her life and she kind of fills that place for her as well having a very strong maternal presence in Summers life. Her uncles I feel all fill in a different role in her life. Leo is the only one she dosent call uncle performing sensei. If not for Leo? Summer might be a bit more likely to get into fights at school. Ever since she bought her guitar and got chased by purple dragons. Leo felt knowing how to properly defend herself was important along with the displace thar comes with the style they all learned. Summer respect Leo a lot. Ironic consider raph and leos constant bricking. She only ever calls him.uncle when it's a pretty serious matter. Mikey is more like an older brother in her life. She often gets him comics and such of she sees a issues he might like. And will have sleep overs with him and Ari. Summer never gose to the girl nights to girly for her so this is a nice way for her to get that time instead. Donnie as mentioned is like a 3rd dad to Summer being a bit more reasonable and sensible than Casey and Raph ever can be. She tends to sit in his lab and dose homework only time she stays focused since she can ask him for help he explains it better than her teachers but he's known her for years so that helps.

As mentioned summers got a pet rat, originally I said summer was gonna be a teacher I changed it to a vet for alternate pets lile rat and reptiles. For obvious reasons of course. Summer found cheddar rats have a short life span but I aint using that logic the longest captive rats lived 7 years. So we're gonna let her last about 12 cause I said so. Of course Casey gets a support dog later on as well and Summer falls in love with the dog right away. Qhen wvee Vasey isn't in need of him Summers playing and spoiling them rotten.

In the CC verse I feel Summer of course will have both those pets still Chedder will be a hurt rat she finds in the barn. And I like to think shell have her own horse. He ends up leaving his black lunchbox at Hellfire & invites her back to watch. He asks fem reader if she minds giving up her seat next to him (she’s totally in love with Eddie & thought he felt the same until he started dealing to Chrissy).

Y/n looked forward to Hellfire every single week, it was a highlight for her and one of the main reasons was because of Hellfire's leader Eddie Munson.

They had been growing closer lately and she was falling head over heels in love with him, she was so sure he felt the same way.

Until he started dealing to Chrissy Cunningham.

Chrissy. Perfect Chrissy. She couldn't compete with the queen of Hawkins High, pretty, popular, Eddie was bound to fall under her spell.

Eddie interrupts her musings as he dashes around pulling on his leather jacket and denim vest.

"Shit, y/n I gotta make a quick stop I've got a deal with Chrissy to attend I'll be like ten minutes tops, tell the sheeples to sit and be patient yeah?".

Before she can answer he rushes out, she watches him go sadly and patiently waits for the rest of Hellfire to arrive.

When they do Dustin turns to her puzzled.

"Hey, where's Eddie?".

"Doing a deal with Chrissy". She answers him trying to not sound upset over it. The problem with Dustin though is he's very observant and she's sure he knows that she's in love with Eddie.

Eddie arrives back moments later, quicker than she expected but then she notices Chrissy in tow and her heart sinks.

"Left the goods didn't I?", He walks up to his throne and holds up his metal lunchbox with his supplies inside then turns to her.

"Hey, sweetheart do you mind if Chrissy sits in your seat today? She's gonna watch the game. Just in case she has any questions or anything?".

Chrissy is smiling at her all sweet and hopeful. How the hell could she say no? She can't even hate Chrissy because the girl is a fucking sweetheart.

"Sure" she fakes a smile and gets up but inside she's fuming. It's her seat. It's always been her seat. Then Chrissy comes along and Eddie just tosses her aside.

"You know what Chrissy, take my place tonight and play okay, I have a headache".

She grabs her bag and Eddie stands up.

"Wait y/n you can't leave. You're one of our best players". She shrugs.

''I'm sure Chrissy will play fine". Eddies brow furrows in confusion.

"Are you mad at me?". She's about to snap but sighs sadly. He doesn't know how she feels, it's not his fault if he doesn't feel the same and wants Chrissy.

It still hurts like hell though.

"I'm fine Eddie". He frowns.

"You seem mad? Come and sit down, There's a seat next to Wheeler. Are you having your monthly troubles or something?".

She gapes, the others, including Chrissy shake their head groaning.

"Edward Munson you can't possibly be that fucking oblivious!"

She storms out before he can say another word and heads to her car and drives off a little away from the school.

She parks in a quiet spot and turns on the radio, Van Halen is playing. Jump which is one of her favourites.

It makes her smile a little but she still really needs a good cry and finally lets out the tears that she's been holding in.

The next day at school she avoids Eddie, she isn't sure how to express how she's feeling to him.

A small part of her wonders if giving her seat away to Chrissy was the beginning? What if he and Chrissy grew closer and closer and he decided he didn't need her anymore?

He surely realised she was upset about Chrissy and yeah she could have said last night but it wasn't worth causing a scene about it.

Chrissy hadn't done anything wrong so how could she explain why she was so mad?

She hated feeling like this and hoped Eddie would leave her alone just to gather her thoughts.

Of course, she knew Eddie better than that. He was waiting for her after school, leaning against his van.

Before she can reach him she's intercepted by Samuel who is part of the football team. He's been giving her attention for a few weeks now but she's never been interested.

Because she's so in love with Eddie that he's all she wants.

"Hi?". Samuel grins and leans in closer to her

"So babe, you know Jason is throwing a party tonight? Ditch the freaks and hang with us cool kids?".

Ugh, Jason. She couldn't think of anything worse than being around him.

"Sorry, I uh have plans tonight". His smirk drops but he doesn't get a chance to say anything else as Eddie stalks up to them.

His brown eyes flash in anger.

"Clear off douchebag. She's not interested". Samuel sneers at Eddie and barges past him.

"Dickhead". Eddie hisses and turns his dark stare onto her.

"He's always sniffing around you right now princess. I don't like it". She sighs, here we go again they had the same conversation last week.

"I'm not interested in him Eddie". How many times does she have to tell him that? His tense stance still doesn't soften and she comes to a realisation very quickly.

"Wait...are you jealous?". He doesn't even miss a beat before answering.

''Yes, also you've been avoiding me, sweetheart. I know you're mad at me". She freezes. She should have known Eddie would realise how she felt. He wasn't stupid.

"Please just drop it?" she begs him not wanting to add confessing her feelings to her already shitty day.

"I should have never given your seat away, it was thoughtless. I just wanted Chrissy to feel comfortable. Didn't think it through though did I?".

She softens a bit but there's still this big knot inside her that needs to get her feelings out.

"I just figured Chrissy is pretty, popular, Hawkin's queen. Of course, you would choose her over me". He gapes.

"Sweetheart, shit no, no". Oh god don't cry, don't cry she chastises herself.

"Eddie, please don't lie. I understand if you like Chrissy she's... He explodes before she has a chance to finish her sentence looking frustrated.

"Jesus H Christ, Chrissy is just a customer princess. I don't have any feelings for her romantically or otherwise. None. I'm so damn in love with you that no one else compares".

His face pales and his words spin around in her mind. He loves her. Not Chrissy. He's always felt the same way.

"You love me?". She sobs feeling overwhelmed with happiness.

"I'm madly in love with you princess. Should have told you how I felt. Instead of you feeling like this". He walks up to her and strokes her cheek.

"I love you so much, 'm sorry I made you feel like this sweetheart, I love you. Only you".

She doesn't waste any more time once he says that, wrapping her arms around his neck and kisses him.

"I love you too Eds, been wanting to say for so long". He presses tender kisses on her lips, then her forehead.

"Let's get out of here yeah? Long weekend ahead of us. I'm thinking of not leaving the bed".

Fuck. She nods feeling flushed with desire.

"Lead the way Dungeon master". He winks, and opens the van door for her so she gets inside, he kisses her once more before joining her.

The possibilities of the weekend spread out in front of her and she can't wait to see how it turns out.

King of the Road: A Tribute to Roger Miller - Franny recorded a cover of The Moon Is High (And So Am I) for the album. There’s a really cute video uploaded on her YouTube channel of her recording the song and she’s playing acoustic guitar and dancing around in place as she sings in several takes. It’s one of the few internet videos where her husband is seen, because sometimes the camera pans to the sound engineer booth when he’s sitting next to Serghei, her go-to sound guy.

She participated on the charity album BBC Children In Need: Got It Covered, since England’s been her home from nearly twenty years now. Because little Cambodian me was like, ‘wow, so you don’t gotta look like Dolly or Willie to love this music.’ Everyone thinks country and bluegrass music is white people shit, but it ain’t. It was always a mix of folks influencin’ it. DeFord Bailey paved the way for Charley Pride, who paved the way for Darius Rucker, who paved the way for Jimmie Allen, Willie Jones, Mickey Guyton, Erica right here, and non-black POC like myself and Dan(iel Maitland). It was such an honor to get to curate this album with Erica. Amazing.” Franny recorded Does My Ring Hurt Your Finger for the album.

Songwriting

Franny’s even more active as a songwriter than a recording artist. She’s got over 1,000 songwriting credits to her name.

She began writing songs “when I was 11, but they were atrocious, unsalvageable things. The first song I wrote that ever saw the light of day even after heavy edits was first thought up when I was thirteen.”

Franny is openly bisexual and explores that in her songwriting-- however, most of her songs about women or her sexuality that she wrote “pre-2009-ish” she’s scrapped or sold to other artists. Why? “Look, I’ve been married to my husband for almost twenty years now. And that doesn’t make me any less bisexual. But a lot of the songs I’ve written about women are from the perspective of a thirteen through twenty year old me, and at forty, I’m not the best narrator for those stories anymore.They are my lived experiences and my lived feelings, but I want to see how someone actually going through that will take it and interpret it. The songs I write about women loving women now are about characters I make up for the purpose of storytelling so they’re about women closer to my age, it’s about big girl love, not adolescent love.”

Common themes in Franny Sor Robinson songwriting: geography, vivid imagery like she’s showing you a picture of what she’s singing about, Buddhist themes, Christrianity (she’s a Buddhist but grew up in the Bible Belt so she’s very familiar with Christian themes), alliteration

Franny came under a degree of controversy in 2014 with the release of a song called “The Sabbath” because it was a tasteful song about how much she likes sex with her husband after they’ve been apart for a while, and Franny was like “you know you’d think the pearl-clutchin’ folks would be glad I practically worship my husband, but I forgot women ain’t supposed to actually enjoy sex.”

She's written another really sweet song about making love with her husband that did Not get hate because it was Acceptable TM and pretty romantic actually. Think along the lines of Josh Turner's Your Man or Dierks Bentley's Come A Little Closer. Songs deff about how they wanna get down but sweet.

After Franny retweet a clip of that Tyler Childers song in 2019 with the caption “big relate”, she was asked in a tweet if a follow up to The Sabbath was in the cards. Franny replied with “there’s a demo recorded for a song I wrote about six years back and that’s that on that.” Yes, Franny Sor Robinson indeed has written a song about masturbation. She’s performed the song live a few times, however, it is still unreleased officially

Franny’s written songs with lyrics alluding to her family’s experiences under the Khmer Rouge and escaping and resettling around the world, she cleverly hides them among her albums so people accidentally digest some education

Cornelius is the well-documented muse for “every love song I’ve written that I don’t specify in the album notes or an interview is written about a character. My husband is the love of my life and had given me twenty years and counting of great material to write about.”,

Franny’s been on both ends of this story. In 2019, a song Franny wrote but didn’t record became a smash pop hit after she and her producer sent it around to other producers. They recorded Franny’s demo in mid-2017 and they and the bigger pop producer that worked on the song with them listened to over 20 demos of the song until they found the right person to sing it.

And in 2013, Franny got a huge boost to her fame when she was the featured vocalist on a pop song that became a global smash hit. Franny doesn’t typically do like...super top 40 pop type music, but she liked the song so when her agent suggested she record a demo for it and send it back to the producer looking, she was like “sure, okay” and then was absolutely surprised that they chose her over some of the names she knew also recorded demos for the song.

In 2019, a group of NYU students (where she did her undergrad) made a Franny Sor Robinson tribute album project; the majority of the students were Asian students in the university’s music programs who cite her as a big inspiration for them pursuing music. She 100% cried

For the Netflix show Just Trust Me that she co executive-produces, Franny is also one of the people who soundtrack the show

In 2020, to celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of her biggest solo album’s release, she pulled a The Story And Cover Stories (we stan Brandi Carlile) where it was re-released along with cover versions of each song by other artists including some of Franny’s biggest living musical influences. All proceeds for the album were donated to Cambodian Living Arts.

Franny has openly admitted in interviews to using mushrooms, LSD, and DMT before in songwriting sessions. Her stance is Kacey Musgraves’ stance. Franny quote from 2019, “Used responsibly, I think psychedelics are a worthwhile experience to have. But safety and education are key. I truly don’t believe they are party drugs. Psychedelics aren’t a party, they’re a deeply spiritual and philosophical journey.”

Work you are most proud of (and why):

deff yail just because it was such a personal story and i loved the way i was able to play it out. while aspects of it were true to my life, there were a lot of things i had to leave out but i still put it together as a whole fic and i think it worked! i was happy with my writing in it, i am in love with all the characters, and i just really enjoyed the POSITIVE reactions it got. im happy i was true to the story and did it the way i wanted to. 

Work you are least proud of (and why):

umm in terms of THIS YEAR, maybe lpl since i have been so shit on updating it. my inspiration is just lacking and time is running out on me in lightening speed. but idk it’s hard to say bc sometimes even though i think the piece is okay i still put it out and then later cringe at what i wrote. i think everyone does that tho

A favorite excerpt from your writing:

this is hard but two things that come to mind right away are from yail. one is chapter 22: the one where harry finds out. that chapter...was a hard one to write. so much had to be said and i needed to make sure i expressed the emotions properly without making it seem TOO over the top. in scenes like those it’s tricky. another that comes to mind is chapter 25: the one where the school year comes to an end. this is a breakup scene and usually breakup scenes are full of emotion but are often rushed or just...cringey. but i was very happy with this one. i took...stuff from how i felt during a breakup and i think that made it real. anyway here’s an excerpt:

“I’ll do anything to make it work, though,” Louis said, practically begging. “You don’t know -- you don’t --.” He could barely speak through his tears because it felt like his throat was sealing up and Harry looked absolutely devastated. Louis’d never thought that after everything they’d been through that it could ever come down to this -- the two of them sobbing on Harry’s bed while he told Louis that even though he loved Louis and Louis loved him, it still wasn’t enough. “You don’t know how much you mean to me, Harry,” Louis was finally able to say. “You’re the best -- best everything. You’re everything.”

“And you’re mine,” Harry said like it was a promise, barely able to speak himself.

i don’t wanna copy and paste anything bc a lot of comments have spoilers, but all the lovely comments on yail are just so special to me. there are some who left long ones telling me how affected they were by the fic and that means everything. yail did get a ton of backlash in the beginning but i don’t even think of that anymore. the positive outweighs the negatives. 

A time when writing was really, really hard:

working on lpl was so difficult tbh. like every part i end, i take a 6 month long break before i pick that fic up again and idk why that is. like time is deff an issue but this is just ridic. i’m so frustrated at myself. i need the inspo for this fic to jUST STAY

A scene or character you wrote that surprised you:

i think that louis in yail was so important. i loved writing him how i wrote him. he was so personal to me and i think alot of ppl related to him in that fic. idk if he surprised me, but he’s the one that stands out the most.

How did you grow as a writer this year?:

i think i’ve become alot more organized in terms of outlining, which makes it easier to write. i also think the more you write, the better you get, so i’ve gotten better over time! 

How do you hope to grow next year?:

not sure...maybe finish more fics and write mroe frequently if possible?? 

Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc):

@realitybetterthanfiction had my back all throughout yail which was so nice of her. she was supportive, extremely detailed, and understanding. couldn’t have asked for a better beta! same goes for my other betas @stephloveslarry and elizabeth (who i can’t seem to tag????)

as i said before, yail deff did. but everything i write has little bit of me or my friends or my life in it. 

Any new wisdom you can share with other writers:

ummm 

1) don’t start a fic with the characters waking up

2) don’t dump information and their life stories within the first few scenes

3) outline is so important

4) get a beta always

5) smut is cool but if it’s repetitive don’t write it

6) every story needs a conflict that needs to be overcome otherwise the characters don’t develop or grow

Rapheal 2003

Aladdin: Raph loves Aladdin he likes the story of this street rat proving himself he loved the fights in it mostly when Jafar turned into a giant snake. And Aladdin was shown to be accept as he was at the end. Let's also just say he got the bi awakening between Jasmine and Aladdin.

Tranza: Again, action he likes the fights. The gorillas and such and well the whole acceptance of Tranzan among the humans and gorillas?

Raph 2012

Treasure Planet: It's a sifi action pack film with pirates! Raph kind of related to the charater Jim in the flim as well and he likes the father son relationship Jim forms in the movie. It's one of few films he watches that isn't an action or horror film.

Praites of the Caribbean: not much reason just more praise adventures uwu

Rise Raph

Beauty and the Beast: because well him and Yvoone fit it and I like referencing it for them uwu

Hercules: he wanna be like Hercules! Big strong and helps everyone also later when he meets yvoone she kind of looks like Meg soo uwu

Mikey 2003

Brother Bear: Mikeys pretty spiritual and intune with that naturally so a movie focused on it is up his ally not to mention he loves thst the baby bear got a big brother to look out for them and that despite the fall out between the human brothers everything turned out fine

Black Cauldron: mostly cause this film is a bit obscure and dark and that's up his alley.

Mikey 2012

Toy Story: deff that kid who thought his toys had lives and kind of why he so openly nice and friendly to inanimate objects even

Soul: again mikeys always been a bit more spiritual compared to his bros so a movie touching on life and learning to turly live it? Yeah he's all for that message

Rise Mikey

Peter pan: young forever a d living free that all mikey. He is someone very about living in the moment and feels Peter pan jsut kind of enforced that sure Peter younger forever but the darling kids aren't

Onward: two brothers going on an adventure to see thier dad one more time only to give up the chance for the older brother to have that moment? Mikey is very touched by someone who would put his big brother first

Donnie

Starwars: okay this might be a cheat and I almost gave it to 03 mikey but I think he's mkre a terky anyway and by rise time-line starwars is owned by Disney xD

High school musical: You know why this boy is a theater kid waiting for his chance to shine pluuuuus he kind of gets the struggle of the leads. Claims it just the theatrical stuff

Usagi 2003

Mulan: I can see Usagi e joking movie night when he visits and he took a liking to Mulan mostly cause it made him think of Leo uwu. He also loves the message behind it honor to one's heart. Usagi can admire that message a lot for someone who lives and will die fir the same reason

Richard

Tangled: because yeahhh he relates far to hard. He felt like he was trapped and locked away by his parents forced to live a life he had no say in till finally escaping the tower. He'd soon die then admit it as well but far as he is concerned? Bailey is his Flynn. This smooth talking guy who manged to get him to break out from all he knew. And well Bailey became Richards new dream much like Rapunzel and Flynn did for each other in the film.
