There’s something about how after episode 3 the reactions differ so much between Colin and Deli, and I don’t mean in words.
Colin seeks out the family of the innocent man he killed, gave the money he had gotten from being tied to Deli to this family. He spends hours searching for them, spent years thinking to do what he can to help them after tearing their lives apart without them knowing it.
Deli watches the family of the innocent woman he helped assassinate with no sign of remorse. As soon as it was convenient to him and got him power, he then killed her youngest daughter, also innocent. Both were on their way to be diplomats, to help. Again, no remorse, it got him what he wanted
Idk what I’m trying to say but I think it boils down to who they truly are
I am still constantly thinking about the energy that Deli and Colin had going on. I am always thinking about the adventuring party where Lou talked about how Deli would have maimed himself with Colin's knife. Like I'm always thinking about a Pastrami sandwich and some Provolone Cheese.
Got caught up with d20 anyway love that Delissandro Katzon is bringing some much needed half-jewish half-Italian representation to the dimension 20 pc line-up.
[video id: a clip from the Ravening War in which Lou Wilson as Deli Katzon says “You can answer all those questions to Raphaniel once you pass.” The camera than focuses to Brennan Lee Mulligan as Raphaniel who has a strange and intense expression as he says “I will take your face!”]
Worth remembering that for the entire rest of the episode, while Colins saying things like “no secret is worth this” hes covered in viscera from the explosion. He’s the only one to come out of the fight with the (literal) blood of queen Pamela on his hands- despite deli and raphaniel being the ones to kill her. So when Deli asks what he means when Colin says he doesn’t trust their group being in the cave, Colin is STILL drenched in blood when he says “I think you know what I mean”
