i put this on the dropout discord but also putting it here cause i'm proud: my edible map of calorum. vegan except for the fish and the cheese islands. and it was super fun to plan and make! my favorite parts are the kohakutou crystals and the borderland foods like the quince tarts and mini donair. also you can't see them very well in this picture but i did hide tiny mushrooms in some key locations :)

cast photo. homemade except for the cheese because my vegan cheese attempts were disastrous. delissandro pastrami, c'mon provolone, solaran hot honey, pickled amangeaux, and raphaniel slaw 馃槇
i really enjoyed The Ravening War and have been thinking about it nonstop since the finale. everyone knocked it outta the park!

Adding the durian and yam to the beasts of burden of Calorum family!
The durian was a bit difficult, what with all the spines... pretty adorable, though, despite being meant as a form of penance for raphaniel. Also, the yam reminds me of a cute dinosaur lol.
I am taking preorders for all 3 versions, of you're interested just shoot me a message for more info!

Just having fun, mindlessly designing a character that would fit into Dimension20鈥瞫 Calorum setting. This is Tina, she鈥檚 from the Fungisles, a never-before-visited archipellago between Vegetania and the Meat Lands.聽
Do YOU have a food-sona? 馃憖

Love how in the world of calorum there can just be a human man with red skin and a big apple with legs and arms and they are both the same exact race (the race being apple)
That's always so funny to me

So first of all, before I say anything else, I know how The Ravening War will end.
Well, I do not know it, but I consider Matt Mercer a coward and lacking storyteller if this is not how it ends... Anything can happen with the characters or arcs or relationships or anything, I do not give a fuck, but the last mission the FDA gives the scrumptious scoundrels will be the assassination of a princess of the house of Rocks.
We have already met a Rocks sister, Matt isn't afraid to touch them and play them. The FDA has already ordered one political assassination, explicitly told to be their whole deal - to toy with the politics and powers that hold in Calorum. To get whom they want to the throne and take out the necessary. This is a prequel to A Crown of Candy, and when the ravening war was mentioned during their time it was almost always in reference to either Amethar or one of his sisters. You tie in the thread. You close the loop. We already know how it ends from the beginning. You still pull the rug out from under us. You force Lou to kill his own sister (with a different and blood-thirsty character, but still in the mind of the one who grieved her for 20 years).
I know how The Ravening War will end.

Wait, thing! Wait! Deus pa'zuul, disposal. The sanctis putris think to save the world by letting all the food go rotten and moldy so it won't get eaten by the hungry one. BUT! when food goes bad, you don't eat it true, you dispose of it. In American cuisine's case it goes in that weird carbage disposal blender sink thing they have. That is what Raphaniel's visions are from. If the FDA/sanctus putris' plan of covering Calorum in mold happens it will be saved from the Hungry One, but delivered into the hands of a fate worse than being eaten. It will be disposed of.
